Chapter 37's

"Well, this place hasn't changed much," Elena noticed the surroundings.

"Have you ever been here?" Atreya was very surprised, she did not think that Elena had been here before.

"Yes, when I visited Jonathan's brother I stayed here,"

"Oh.., "Areya just nodded.

Reza was seen going inside regardless of Elena.

"Hey! I'm a guest here, are you gonna let me be like this?" Elena snapped at Reza. Hearing Elena's words stopped.

Atreya was speechless no more. 'Why do I feel like I'm the third person here'

"I told the waiter to get your room ready, you know the room anyway, don't you?"

Reza said coldly.

"You're the host, so you're the one who has to show me her place" Elena won't lose.

"Alright, then Atreya will drive you,"

he said while leaving.

"Huh! you're not polite!" Elena was getting upset, in addition to visiting her father she had deliberately come here to see Reza. But Reza stays the same, being cold to her even though she's a princess. Reza only showed her warmth to her sister.

"Then let me drive you, princess!"

Elena was surprised, she almost forgot that Atreya was still with her.

"I told you to call me by my name!" he was uncomfortable hearing Atreya calling him the princess.

"But... "

"Please, can you do it!" his facial expression was clear, Atreya had no other choice but to nod in agreement.

Elena wanted to see the back garden, so Atreya escorted her.

"Are you close to my brother?" finally the question was asked too. Atreya had harbored it for a long time, actually she wanted to say it when they got inside earlier.

"Eitherway! I don't know either" Elena said with a smile on her face, but there was sadness there as well.

'What's wrong with him, is my brother bullying a girl? he even acted like that to her earlier. But come to think of it brother behaves like that to all the women who approach him'

"You can tell me your problem, I'm ready to listen to it" Atreya said sincerely.

"Thank you, but I'm really fine,"

"You don't have to be sad, other than that I'm sorry for my brother's treatment earlier,"

"Well, she's always been like that, but I don't mind because I'm sure she's being annoying to all women" Elena recalled the past, saying, the first time I met Reza was like that too. Not because he hated her but his attitude towards the girls was like that.

As one of the handsome men of the upper class of vampires, it is not uncommon for many girls to approach him. But Reza never responded to them.

"You're right, I always persuaded him to look for a partner but he refused," Atreya sighed deeply and then exhaled violently.

"You can't even persuade her?"

"I'm afraid she'll be alone forever if I get married later,"

"Pffftt... are you sure you found a suitable partner?"

"Not yet, but someday that day will surely come," the first one to appear in his mind after saying those words was Eiden. Lately he had been thinking about it a lot, but somehow with that person.

He regained consciousness, 'Stupid me! why even think about it at a time like this'

He hurriedly searched for another topic of conversation so Elena wouldn't suspect him.

Elena was somewhat surprised to hear that, it seemed that Atreya was quite a person to talk to.

"That's not necessary, I'll try to get her heart my way,"

Reza went into his study, where Parvis was sitting on the couch.

"Looks like you're going to have a new habit now" Reza walked up to Parvis and sat down next to him.

Parvis was not seen and is now in his study. His study room was on his floor, he was sure that Parvis was climbing over the wall to get into this room or rather jumping up.

"I had no other choice, it was very troublesome to deal with Elena's daughter,"

"Not good, you can get close to the royal beauty!" he said tease Parvis.

"It's okay if he's looking for me, he's just using me to ask you questions because you've always ignored him,"

Reza just kept quiet, he switched to open his laptop.

"You can try to accept it, I think it'll be good if you're close to him,"

Reza was silent again, his eyes staring at the laptop but his mind was thinking about Parvis' words.

"Hais.. you are," Parvis put his hands behind his head and leaned his body on the sofa.

Actually he felt sorry for seeing Elena, the girl seemed sincerely fond of her young master. His unexpected behavior sometimes gives them headaches and makes Reza reluctant to respond to the girl's feelings. They believe Elena is a good girl. And that was also Reza's reason for getting away from her.

"Actually you can try to accept it, I'm sure she won't give up before you fall in love with her,"

"Stop talking nonsense! you know exactly why I did it. Besides giving him a little hope would only hurt him, I better stay away so he realizes to give up immediately and look for someone else who loves him more instead of wasting his time,"

"Love comes by itself, there is no one who has the right to manage to whom someone falls in love. You won't find a girl as good as Elena, which is a pity!"

"Since when have you been able to say such words, it doesn't suit you very well" Reza scoffed at Parvis.

"I'm just mimicking the style of today's young people,"

"Remember how old you are!"

"I don't think it's much different from you" Parvis said with confidence.

"Based on parents don't know themselves,"

Parvis is just giggling hearing Reza who keeps nagging him. Parvis' age is equivalent to Reza's father's, but vampires have a much longer lifespan than ordinary humans. Even top level vampires can adjust their faces to the age they want.

"I wish I could do something to help you" Parvis said in seriousness.

Because of the accident he had experienced, Reza did not dare to open his heart to others. Even Atreya, but he realized he could not continue to ignore his sister because his parents would definitely be disappointed. So he decided to stay put and would make up for it by looking for someone who could look after him until the moment he had to leave.

Love is the most beautiful gift that man can get, but it is too complicated and narrow. People who fall in love will eventually lose to their ego, only selfishly in order to stay with loved ones.
