Chapter 24's
"Prince, we've found your instructions and orders, we've already run," someone entered Eiden's study.
He was busy taking care of the files piling up in front of him.
"Continue the investigation as planned, now go!"
"Okay, prince,"
After the man came out, Eiden placed the pen he was holding. A large mirror appeared in front of him, the mirror glowed and showed a woman who was leaving for campus.
"You haven't changed," Eiden looked at the woman with a longing look.
"I can't lie that I miss you so much, but I need certainty" she closed her eyes.
His mind recalled the words Reza had said back then, "I don't think he was Jonathan,"
"If you had been laid off by Jonathan before my father disappeared, you wouldn't have come looking for him on behalf of the west unless you kept a secret in this case,"
On the other hand, Reza and Parvis are negotiating something.
"You sure you've made sure of it yourself?" Reza held several sheets of paper.
"Right sir, I saw his body myself and according to reports he disappeared a few days earlier. At least that's what the housekeeper said, this incident is a long time ago and this report only came out after we investigated the scene" Parvis said.
"Are you offended by my orders?" Reza sees Parvis who looks unhappy with this news. Parvis was surprised,
"No sir," his voice sounded cold, but it was obvious he was hiding his sadness.
"I know you're very close, as a colleague you must feel lost," Reza tried to comfort Parvis, but Parvis quietly did not respond.
"Ehem, sorry I didn't mean anything," Reza felt guilty, 'I shouldn't have offended her relationship with James, would she be upset'
"It's okay, sir, maybe he's had an unexpected incident and got into an accident,"
"Yes,"
"Then I'll check the state of affairs at the branch company,"
"Remember to address today's press conference," Reza half-screamed before Parvis exited Reza's room.
"It seems that I should investigate it myself," he went back to examining it piece by piece.
"He stayed by my side after my father and mother died, and then James went missing as Jonathan left" he faced back to the table and tapped the table with his finger.
"Now she's found dead after disappearing for a few days, ah. why is everything getting complicated," Reza sneered at her temple.
"If Eiden had agreed to help me maybe we'd have found something, aish.it looks like he misunderstood me,"
Flash back on...
When Reza helped find the King in the western region, he,
"Do we need to report to the Prince?" Parvis asked as they were on their way.
"No need, I'm no longer the general of the west, we'll move on our own,"
"But the King's search is related to the kingdom, you can be considered an intruder if you don't get permission,"
"At this time everyone will definitely seek his existence, they will try to be a good people by helping to find their king and we will do the same,"
Suddenly Reza received a message, he was shocked when he saw the contents of the message.
"Go to the old warehouse by the river!" Reza said it in a panic, Parvis was astonished by Reza's behavior but he did not refuse his orders.
An hour later they reached the warehouse, Reza immediately entered the warehouse followed by Parvis behind him. The warehouse was a mess, as if there had been an attack but no one at all.
"What are you really looking for?" Parvis looked around the room.
He finally found a neatly arranged pile of cardboard, 'This warehouse is old and dusty, but it looks like these boxes have just been moved, ' Parvis shifted some of the boxes.
He saw a pair of legs, then he immediately put away all the cardboard.
"Who did it!" he shouted out loud,
"Parvis must have found it" Reza, who was checking the other side of the barn, approached Parvis.
James's body lay lifeless, behind a pile of cardboard, after an autopsy found that James had been left for days without food and drink.
In addition to the injuries found on parts of his body, it was concluded that before it was left in the building he was beaten and no one found it until Reza came.
