Love for Time

Love for Time
Chapter 20 - The Trial

Cheryl never thought she would be in such an unpleasant situation. Imagine never, he sat at a table with them. Oma Shinta, Keysia, Dimitri and herself. And even more sinister was the murderous look of an eye that Keysia had aimed at her. And next to her, there was Oma Shinta who was looking at her full of probes. Cheryl shuddered so much.

Dimitri sat beside her, at least Cheryl feeling a little calmer as Dimitri chose to sit next to her as Oma Shinta invited them back to the restaurant at the hotel to talk. Now they sit by a glass window, with a view of the pool.

From her seat Cheryl could see some people were swimming, there was a large and small pond. In a large pool there is a prosotan place where some small children can ride and skate.

In the small circular pool, there were a few small children playing in the water. In addition, an umbrella-shaped seat around the pool also has a person. Though this is not a holiday, but the atmosphere there is quite crowded.

Cheryl had indeed deliberately escaped her gaze in any direction she could as long as it did not clash with Keysia.

"What's the matter exactly?" ask Oma Shinta.

Her voice was soft and firm typical of a Grandma who asked her granddaughter. Ah, if this is how Cheryl misses her Grandma.

Cheryl just lowered her head, she didn't dare to talk. Afraid of wrong talking.

Eh?

Silently Dimitri grabbed Cheryl's hand under the table and clasped it, tightly. As if telling Cheryl that she's there, she'll take it all. Dimitri knows how easily scared and nervous Cheryl is.

Dimitri's feeling was conveyed, Cheryl took a breath and exhaled as slowly as possible so that no one realized she was tense.

Seeing Dimitri who did not respond, Oma Shinta called him back. "Dimitry?"

Unfortunately, Dimitri has no answer to Oma Shinta's question, rather does not know where to start. Is it okay for him to start with the statement that he likes Cheryl? Wouldn't it hurt Keysia who was Oma Shinta's angel?

"Yes?" Finally, Dimitri responded without answering his question.

Oma Shinta frowned. What - what is this Dimitri, why is the response just that? Keysia averted her gaze from Cheryl for a moment, she folded her hands in front of her chest and turned to Dimitri.

"This is the umpteenth time, I've seen you two - twos." said Keysia. His voice sounded flat and his facial expression was so cynical.

And then Oma Shinta looked at Dimitri with a questionable look. While Cheryl immediately pulled her hand from Dimitri's grasp under the table. Dimitri sensed Cheryl's movements, instead of letting go he grasped her even stronger. Oh my goodness, Dimitri!

Cheryl glanced at the young man who was sitting upright looking at her Oma, her expression unreadable.

"What's your explanation for this, Dimitri?" asked Oma Shinta, trying to confirm her grandson. Implied hope that he wanted everything he thought to be wrong. They just misunderstood.

"Nothing, Oma." replied Dimitri.

Ha's?

Oma Shinta. "What do you mean by nothing?" ask him not to understand.

Keysia snorted in annoyance. Cheryl went deeper.

"Nothing, Oma. All as Keysia sees it, I don't want to lie."

Holy hooch!

Cheryl wants the earth to split so that she hides in it until it's all over, and then she will appear again. Dimitri felt Cheryl's hand begin to shake. He rubbed the back of Cheryl's hand with his thumb.

Oma Shinta looked at the two young people in front of him alternately, Cheryl who looked down looked wrong and Dimitri who looked calm as if ready to face the storm. The woman, who had eaten a lot of salt acid, was more convinced that there was something between Dimitri and Cheryl.

He sighed, and in a graceful style sipped a cup of chamomile tea that the maid had just delivered. Be prepared to ask questions that might surprise yourself when you hear the answer.

Oma Shinta realized, Dimitri is not the type of person who easily expresses his heart. So, inevitably he had to fish with questions.

"What's your relationship? Dimitri and... ?" Oma Shinta paused, trying to remember whether Dimitri had mentioned the girl's name or not.

"Cheryl, Grandma" replied Dimitri.

Again Keysia snorted angrily when she heard Dimitri's mouth say Cheryl's name lovingly.

"How are you guys related?" ask Oma Shinta again.

"We're friends."

Duh!

They answered simultaneously. Though Cheryl hurriedly replied, she did not want Dimitri's answer to add to the runyam. But why did the young man beside her instead answer 'close' instead of choosing a neutral answer.

Keysia's eyebrows shot up by one, with all her might holding back the emotions that were already at the tip of her tongue.

"Near what, Dimi?"

Oma Shinta was able to catch the micro-changer of the expression on Cheryl's face, the girl was so innocent. He was like an open book, easy to read. Unlike Dimitri who was always closed, his grandson could not make a sound if not asked.

"Near by." Dimitri replied without hesitation.

"But we're not dating like Keysia thinks, Oma." Cheryl said. He dared to explain.

Cheryl was not only afraid of Keysia's intimidating gaze but she also didn't want Dimitri to be in trouble because of their ash status. Let this day be all done.

Keysia. "You know that Dimitri is engaged, why keep coming?"

Cheryl stunned. Keysia's question is on target, penetrating Cheryl's conscience. He never came to Dimitri, but he could never refuse if the young man he loved came or took him away. Even Cheryl also received a gift from Dimitri.

"It wasn't Cheryl who approached me, but I was looking for her." Dimitri replied, taking Cheryl's responsibility to answer.

Keysia glaring. "Then what did he do in your room until morning?"

"Huh? What do you mean, Key?" Now it was Oma Shinta's turn to be shocked.

Keysia had never told me that there was a girl who lived in Dimitri's room all night.

Cheryl closed her eyes, it's over. He knew that this was part of the risk of being close to an engaged person. But still, there is a part of him that is not ready to face the storm.

Keysia glared as she said. "Just ask them, Oma. I've been kind enough not to prolong the trouble of knowing Cheryl's staying in Dimitri's room."

Dimitri took a deep breath, there was no other way. "Cheryl was staying in my room because she accidentally fell asleep, she was exhausted after caring for me who was sick" she began an explanation. Dimitri removed his grip on Cheryl and focused both elbows on the table. His face was serious and serious - really.

"I'm sorry, Oma and Keysia. I was too impulsive to express my feelings first to Cheryl. Cheryl didn't know anything about Keysia. I didn't tell him." Dimitri puts emphasis on the last three words.

Oma Shinta could not hide her surprise. "So you're dating Cheryl?"

"Yes!"

"WHAT?!" oma Shinta's voice began to rise.

"But he broke off our relationship when he found out that I was engaged to Keysia."

"Oh... " Oma Shinta is OH-H and tucked a little relief inside her tone.

"But why are you two still together?" sergeant Keysia won't take it.

Cheryl who felt bad, felt the need to talk and interjected. "Sorry, may I speak?"

"No need, let me just." Dimitri's voice sounded soft but firm.

Realizing that Dimitri was unwilling to argue, Cheryl simply nodded and kept her mouth shut.

Oma Shinta silently observed the interaction of the two, Dimitri looked so firm and gentle to the innocent girl. Unlike when he was with Keysia, his granddaughter looked stiff and just obeyed whatever Keysia wanted.

"Me, Key." Dimitri.

"Huh?"

"Because I can't leave Cheryl alone. Right now, he has no one but me."

"WHAT?!" keysia did not accept. "So you like Cheryl?" hardik Keysia's.

Connect yes....
