Time to Go home

The operation marker light above the front door of the room has been turned off. Andika hopes anxiously to wait for the doctor out of the room to inform her of the state of his wife.

Shortly after, the doctor came out of the operating room. Immediately, Andika moved from where she stood to approach the doctor. Before Andika could throw the question, the doctor had already explained.

"Your wife's caesarean operation went smoothly, Ms. Arisa is also in stable condition. They will soon be transferred to the treatment room. Right now, Arisa's mother is still unconscious, but that doesn't matter. You can meet him in the treatment room, as soon as we move."

"Then, how are our kids, Doc?"

"Your children for the time being should be placed in an incubator, as it is born prematurely. But there is nothing to worry about. This is normal, as they must be born before enough months. Once they're stronger and adaptable, you can take them home."

It was really nice of Andika to hear the words of the doctor just now. So did his parents and his parents-in-law. I can't wait to see his wife and kids soon.

After Arisa has been transferred to the treatment room, Andika immediately followed and waited for his wife who never realized. Looks like he's still asleep the effects of the dope given during the surgery earlier.

Finally, slowly Arisa opened her eyes and looked around. His first look was on Andika who was right in front of him

"What about our son?" arisa asked in a very quiet voice, but clear enough for Andika to hear.

"You take it easy, baby. Everything's fine. Most importantly now, you can be healthy again soon huh."

"Yes, Arisa, you have to really rest completely to restore your health, especially after you have surgery" said Anita.

"Yes, son, about the mother's two grandchildren, you don't worry. They're fine too."

"But where are they now, Ma? I want to see them." asked Arisa.

"They still have to be treated in the incubator, but we don't have to worry, baby. When it is time, you will see them. Most importantly now, you take care of your health to recover quickly, baby." replied Della.

After they chatted for a while, soon Wijaya and Handoko and his wife each went home so that Arisa could rest well.

"Arrrrgh" complained Arisa suddenly.

"Here.." replied Arisa while holding the area around her stomach.

Andika immediately called the nurse to check on his wife's condition out of concern. A nurse came in to check on Arisa.

"This is commonplace sir, patients usually will indeed feel pain around the area of the former operation. For that, try not to move the patient much first." said the nurse explained. Not to forget also, the nurse explained other challenges that must be considered by patients who have undergone a cesarean section.

While in the hospital, Andika patiently takes care of his wife. After two days, Arisa was already strong enough to move and did not feel health. It could even run smoothly, but Andika still did not allow his wife to move much.

Arisa would love to go see her children. Although Ariasa was able to walk on his own, Andika Tidka allowed his wife to walk alone. He forced Arisa to sit in a wheelchair. She's the one who's gonna push and escort Arisa to the premature baby's nursery.

Impatiently, Arisa wants to see her children for the first time. Arriving in the nursery, Arisa's pushchair is directed to two NICU boxes containing two adjoining tiny babies.

"This is our child?" arisa asked Andika who was immediately answered with a nod of Andika's head. Never imagined, she would eventually become a mother and have two small babies.

"Can I hold him Mas?"

"Let the adek inside first yes, adek still have to be monitored with all this medical treatment. There will come a time when you can hold them dear."

Finally Arisa can only look at her two tiny babies in the box. He wanted to hold his two children, but the babies were still too small than normal babies in general.

After a while, Andika brought Arisa back to her room after successfully persuading his wife.

After a few days in the hospital, Arisa was finally allowed to go home. However, both babies are still not allowed to be taken home given the condition is still prone.

Actually heavy hearted, Arisa wants to leave her two children in the hospital, while she can go home. But after being persuaded by all members of his family, then he wanted to go home because his two children still needed intensive care for some time, so they could not be taken home all together.
