Hospital

The driver helped lift Athar's body into the car and drove him to the hospital.

Arriving at the hospital, medics immediately approached and swiftly checked Athar's condition.

"Luna?!". Luna turned her hands over her face full of Athar's blood.

"Gavin!". Luna and Gavin hugged each other.

"Luna where have you been?, we're worried about you". Luna just cried can't answer Gavin's question. Gavin looked at Luna who was stained with blood. Gavin's white coat was dirty.

"Luna what is this?". Gavin asked as he looked at Luna sympathetically.

"Athar...". Luna pointed at Athar who was being handled and prepared for the operating room.

Gavin understood the seriously injured man was Luna's husband, whom Beni told him about the other day.

"Prepare, we're going to the operating room". Gavin. Luna immediately headed to her study room first the room was still the same stuff nothing changed. Luna cleaned herself and put on clothes to the operating room.

Inside the room were three Luna doctors, Gavin and Smith. Smith's doctor removed a bullet in Athar's foot. Gavin tried to calm down after four hours in the operating room finally Athar moved to the icu room.

"Luna".

"Mother?". Athar's mother arrives with Amar, both looking panicked.

"What is Athar's condition?".

"The operation went well just waiting for recovery". Gavin said, Gavin invited Amar to explain Athar's condition while Luna sat with her mother.

"Luna, Doctor Hendrawan wants to talk to you". Amar.

Luna stepped towards Gavin's study.

"Luna why is she getting hurt so badly?". Ask Gavin.

"I'm confused to explain to you".

"Well, have you met your father again?, yesterday I had a chance to meet your father and chat a lot. he seemed to like Athar personally". Gavin.

Luna nodded.looking at Gavin thankfully.

Luna was silent, in her mind right now there was only Athar. Luna goes into the icu room, she checks Athar's condition after surgery.

"Why did I meet you?". Whisper Luna while shedding her tears.

Athar's days with treatment to recover his condition. Luna patiently accompanied Athar for walking therapy, as the soles of his feet were badly injured yesterday. Luna leads Athar's body to walk step by step until Athar is able to walk on his own.

That afternoon, Luna was in the hospital's therapy room and observed Athar, who was training to walk on his own without a grip. Luna observed Athar's face bowing silently.

Donter Smith allowed Athar to go home because his condition had improved.

"If you need help calling me". Gavin said he took Athar and Luna to the car park.

"Athar I hope you recover quickly and can keep Luna back". Gavin pats Athar on the shoulder. Athar stared at Gavin for a bit and got straight into the car.

Arriving at the house Athar immediately rested in his room. Luna examined the stab scar on Athar's back and changed the bandage.

From the time he was sick to come home Athar was silent, he did not speak and did not complain.

That night Luna waited for Athar who fell asleep on his stomach. In the middle of the night Athar woke up, he opened his eyes and found Luna asleep on the floor clutching the novel he had read earlier.

The next morning Athar was recovered, he and Luna casually headed towards the lake.

"You haven't spoken to me since Athar's incident". Luna said as she walked beside Athar, the man just smiled and looked at the cool and calm view of the lake.

"Your enemies are so many, if one day I get hurt like you what would you do?". Ask Luna. Athar stared at Luna sharply.

"I'm not gonna let that happen!". Athar.

"You're talking too". Luna laughs.

"Do you have no intention of leaving your current job?".

Athar was silent again staring at the vast lake.

One day I will leave my current job and live with you in peace.
