Part 39 First Task
Claries leave at eight in the morning for the hospital. He pedaled his bike with santay while greeting the farmers who were also seen waving at him.
In the middle of the road he met the doctor Firman who was riding his bicycle trying to teach the Claries.
"Hi Doctor Claries"
"Oh ..hi doctor Firman..."
"Do you want to race with me?"
"What?"
"Hahaha I'm just kidding doctor"
The two arrive at the hospital and Doctor Firman escorts Dr. Claries into his study.
"Well I stay first yes, there are patients waiting" said doctor Firman.
Claries put on her white coat and walked up to the nurse standing guard in front.
"For the doctor" said the nurse.
"For me Doctor Claries"
"I'm sister Maya"
Sister Maya looks young, her age must be far below Claries.
Claries was about to ask Maya about the hospital, but she was suddenly startled by a boy about 10 years old. Coming in on a bump while wiping the sweat on his forehead with his shabby shirt sleeves.
"Mother doctor please Sukma...!"
"Sukmas?" ask sister Maya.
"Sukma's doctor was seriously injured and his leg was bleeding a lot. Grandma was worried and didn't stop crying"
"I'll grab the bag just a minute" Claries rushed to pick up her briefcase and ran with the boy. Sister Maya looks exhausted and left behind.
Only this time Claries feel a different adrenaline when going to handle patients. He had to run a panting bar on an uneven street following the little boy in front of him who ran off barefoot.
"Let's get the doctor fast" the boy turned into a simple house with a large yard that was made into a farm.
"This grandmother the doctor's mother has arrived" the grandmother looked very sad and anxious.
"Mother doctor please Sukma, she's bleeding a lot and I don't know how"
"Quiet Grandma where is Sukma?"
The new maya sister arrived and stood behind the Claries circulating her gaze looking for the injured Sukma figure.
So Sukma got hurt in this cage, did not-don't he in the horns of the cow.
To his surprise, Claries saw a large pregnant cow and her leg was badly injured, bleeding a lot.
"That's Sukma ma'am doctor please be treated immediately" said the grandmother.
"So Sukma is a cow?"
"It's a doctor"
Claries and Maya look at each other and see the helpless cow. Claries is a surgeon but deals with humans and now he is asked to treat injured cows.
Claries approached Sukma and checked his condition. The injured Sukma leg must be sewn immediately. The wound on the ankle seems to have been hit by a mine used to bind Sukma.
Claries began to sew Sukma's wounds and assisted sister Maya. Then Sukma's leg in bandage.
"Okay grandma tomorrow I'll come again and see Sukma's condition, grandma don't worry"
"Thank you doctor"
"Oh yeah what's your name?" ask Claries to the boy.
"Jhony ma'am doctor"
"Jhony can you help grandma to take care of Sukma? feed him and make sure his wound is not stepped on by another cow"
"Can't be a doctor"
"We go first"
On the way to the hospital Claries smiled because they did not expect to get a surprising experience like this on his first day working at the hospital in the city of A.
Claries recalls Bianca's experiences written in her diary. Serving in a small town can bring a lot of great experiences.
"Suster you've been living here for a long time?"
"I'm a real doctor from this town"
"Oh so..If the doctor the Word?"
"Doctor Firman moved here four years ago"
"Well sister Maya it looks like I'm going to need a lot of your help while adapting here"
