Davin shook his head at Dara's words. The man rubbed the beautiful face of Dara who looked up at him.

"Don't I tell you not to think about what your parents said?" Davin stared at Dara's round-eye bead. His gaze was so softly pierced through Dara's heart.

His face looks tired. However, it does not reduce its good looks. Davin is the perfect man Dara knew before meeting Raditya.

"I can't resist my mother and father's wishes. Especially your parents. I love them. I don't want to disappoint them." Dara hugged Davin.

The woman said she had no feelings for Davin. However, Dara never realized that she was so comfortable when she was close to her best friend.

"I don't want to disappoint them either. But I think more about your feelings. I won't force you to marry me soon, I'll tell them that–"

"I still want to marry you," Dara quickly cut off.

"I want to marry you because I know you're a good person. Although I doubt. It's not enough to prove someone's loyal, is it?" Dara looked at Davin with a sad face. The shadow of the traitor Raditya flashed on his head.

"He's good too. But it turns out his kindness is only to hide his lies."
