"No need, I'm sick of seeing you!"
"Become." Dara's words instantly made Raditya's heart feel like it stopped beating. The 'muak' words that Dara spoke were like daggers that had slammed into her heart.
Why does it feel so painful?
"I'm staying at a hotel. There's no need to look for me because I really don't want to meet you!" Dara spoke again at the end there.
"But, Dara, I'm khawat_"
"Your stuff is still in the car. Other than that mansion, do you have any other residences?" dara asked cutting Raditya's words.
"No! Dara, I don't have another house." Though confused, Raditya answered.
"I've sent important papers related to your work to the house you bought for that woman. But for the other stuff, I'm not sending it to that house. You know why?"
Raditya shook his head slowly even though Dara did not see him.
"That house you bought while we were still tied up in marriage. You know, you must have bought that house with your salary for three years as a manager, right?"
Raditya nodded back. Although surprised because it turns out Dara knows his position in the company, but, he is still silent. He wanted to know what else Dara would say.
"You must remember our marriage covenant, right?"
"Become!" This time Raditya could not cover his shock.
"You must still remember the contents of the agreement, right? Or, do I need to remind you of the contents again so you can recall them?"
Raditya almost dropped his phone. The words that came out of Dara's mouth again made her gasp in shock.
What surprise is this?
Dara's remarks reminded her of the father's words when the middle-aged man came home from the luxurious house he lived in with Kinara and his son.
"If either party commits an affair, then, the party will not get a single percent of the wealth generated when both parties are still tied up in marriage." The sentence spoken by Dara clearly made Raditya's body slump to the floor.
How could he forget that he and Dara had a pre-marital agreement before their marriage took place four years ago?
It seems, her affair with Kinara made Raditya forget everything about Dara and her marriage to the woman.
Raditya admitted it. Ever since he met Kinara again, he had completely forgotten about Dara. The man even seemed to forget that one day, his obedient wife must have been hurt when she learned of his lie.
With Kinara, Raditya forgets that he is the husband of Dara Jelita, the beautiful girl who made him decide to marry her, a few months after Kinara left him to marry another man.
"I'll make sure you and your mistress don't get anything after we get divorced!"
"You think I'm going to obey you after what you did to me?" Dara laughed at the end. While Raditya looks frustrated because Dara is so stubborn and still insists on divorce.
"We can live together, Dara. I promise, I'll be fair to you both." Raditya was still trying to persuade by not knowing himself. While at the end of there Dara is getting worse.
"You want polygamy?" Dara laughed again.
"Do you think I'm a stupid woman who will survive when her husband plays crazy and remarries another woman?"
"Are you not aware of what you're saying, Raditya?"
"I'm sober with all my words, honey. I promise I will treat you and Kinara fairly. I can't possibly divorce Kinara because she's the biological mother of my son. I love Kinara as much as I love you, Dara."
Dara clenched her hands as she heard the sentence after sentence that came out from the mouth of the man who was still her husband.
"You think I'm stupid and want to be polygamous? As long as you know, Raditya, polygamy can only be done by people who are ready to run it according to sharia, not people like you who justify adultery and cheating behind your wife!" shout Dara. Raditya's words were like salt water doused on his wet wound.
Raditya bastards!
Goddamnit!
Not shameless!
Not know yourself! I've raised his life for the better instead of thanking him for stabbing me in the back.
Why should I marry a man like that?
All the insults for Raditya were thrown into Dara's heart. It felt, he wanted to tell the man if his current luxurious life was over his hand.
However, Dara abandoned her intentions. It's still not time for him to unpack everything in front of Raditya. There is still plenty of time for him to take revenge and make the man unaware of himself and the woman***** was sorry for having betrayed him.
"I'm still young. My face is also beautiful. I can still do anything without you. I can go back to work and make a career. After all, I don't have any children yet, so I'm free to do anything after divorcing you. So why would I torture myself to be a polygamous wife? Moreover, being polygamous by a traitorous man like you!
"Become."
"People like you, will not be able to undergo polygamy according to the Shari'a prescribed in our religion. Why am I so sure you can't do it?"
Raditya could not say anything on the other end.
"For three years you've been married to your mistress, have you ever been fair to me?"
