Love at the End of Time

Love at the End of Time
Chapter 28

Wife Company Owner

At once Raina thought that if Maisara was a fool, it was obvious that she was here as an employee who was required to be present every day. So, there is no need to compare with himself.

“Lajar I come every day right I'm an employee here?”

“You are indeed an employee .. but I, the wife of the owner of the company where you are an employee! So, who better to be here every day? You don't have to ask why I'm here .. I should have asked why you're here, working there!”

After saying so, Maisara entered her car without turning to Raina who looked upset, she left while shaking her legs.

Maisara closed his eyes during the trip, he was tired today in a row met with annoying people.

Arriving home, Maisara spent time lying down and called Sanaya on the bed in her room.

“How much is your rental price?” ask Maisara as soon as the phone is connected.

“Three hundred thousand!” sanaya replied from across the street.

“Do you want to barrack me, where is that expensive shirt rental, what is Elvis Presley's shirt?”

“No! That is the price!”

“It's expensive, I'm not a rich man, you know that, what can be paid next month, when I pay?”

“You have three more than three days not updated, where can payday as usual?”

“I have loyal readers, so I have a lot of money next month, don't worry!”

If only I could ask for money to rent a shirt on that fucking Harlan!

“But, the owner of the shirt already charged him today!” sanaya's voice sounded panicked.

“Well then, I'll be at your house tomorrow! I'll pay it off!”

Maisara fell asleep afterwards, forced to use the condolence money Harlan had given her a few days ago, to pay for the rent.

The next day, he was very happy that he did not have to see Harlan again. He can go and go home freely. In fact, her husband was not angry even though he went to his office. There was no way the men didn't tell the Boss that he had come to visit there that day.

However, today was like yesterday, when he came down for breakfast, Hara forbade him from leaving at Harlan's request.

“When Harlan has breakfast, it's still early, Bi!”

Maisara thought that Harlan couldn't have left earlier than him.

“Master didn't have breakfast, but brought supplies from home earlier,” Hara's remark made a big question mark on Maisara's heart.

Wh-wh-what for?

However, as hard as Hara forbade, Maisara left as well and the middle-aged woman could only resign. He shrugged feeling helpless and only reported the true circumstances to Harlan, without reducing or adding to it.

Maisara met Sanaya, in a city park they used to go to when they were in college.

“Hai, Mai! How are you?” sanaya and a man of his age asked Maisara. The girl was shocked and greeted Putra, one of her friends, a fellow campus activist.

“You were so long!” sanaya said annoyedly.

“So, you guys have been here a long time?” tanya Maisara ignored Sanaya and only Focused on the Son, because surprisingly as far as Maisara was concerned, the man was not in the country he was doing business traveling abroad.

“I'm back for you, Mai! I heard everything from Sanaya about your Dad's company!” said the Son, with great emphasis.

Maisara looked at Sanaya alternately with the Son. He felt that his two friends were hiding something.

Feeling suspected, finally Sanaya also told me if at first he mispressed the phone number until connected to Putra, the, feeling that there was no topic to talk about with the man, Sanaya finally told him about the state of Maisara and the legacy of the troubled father.

Sanaya herself did not expect if the next day the Son came to the house. Then, he made an agreement today to meet beetiga with Maisara. After his best friend called last night, when he talked about paying for rent.

Putra intends to help Maisara by investing in his company. He admitted if he did not have experience in anything about building and construction, because what he did all this time was, business traveling. However, because he was concerned about the woman he liked and happened to have enough capital estimated. He also ventured, to support capital in Hansan's company. In addition, helping a friend, makes him motivated to try to develop a business.

Maisara was so happy to hear it, but he had to recalculate all the cost needs of his father's company's total losses.

“So, it won't be for a while to make a total of the items, when can we meet again? If tomorrow it feels impossible I have an event somewhere else!” maisara said to Sanaya and Putra. The point of going somewhere else is, a schedule to see his doctor.

“Alright, let's meet again, the day after tomorrow!” son said, “I don't have much time here, maybe the rest of our communication can only be through video or phone, what do you think?”

“No problem!” sahut Maisara is called Sanaya.

Afterwards, the three fellow activists went to the restaurant, which is not far from the park. They ate lunch together and spent a lot of time, telling stories about their past and experiences as activists on their campus.

They split up in the parking lot of the restaurant, Putra left first because Maisara refused to take her home. He refused among Sanaya.

However, suspicious, Sanaya follows Maisara's steps secretly, because she wonders why her best friend has always refused to be brought home. Where he lives now, he does not know.

Sanaya is shocked when she arrives at the park where they first met, the driver opens the door of the luxury car as soon as Maisara is seen in front of her.

“Mai! Who's the old man?” sanaya asked as Maisara was about to enter her car.

Maisara was surprised to see Sanaya and he made up the story if the old man, just wanted to return the services, because he felt indebted for his kindness in the past.

Although, it sounds awkward, Sanaya so trusted the story of her best friend that she left Maisara with a driver, without asking any further.

In the afternoon, Maisara just arrived at Harlan's villa. He was sure he would never see Harlan again. For a few days he had not seen the man and he was happy.

However, arriving at home ....

“Where have you been?”
