Daffa accompanied Anya in the Apartment until almost midnight. The man also voluntarily cleared up all the mess Axton had caused, fearing Anya would get hurt later.
After finishing cleaning the broken and scattered items, Daffa returned to the television room to accompany Anya who was now asleep on the sofa. He was reluctant to move the girl to his room.
Despite occasionally looking restless and delirious, Anya still did not wake up from her sleep.
Daffa looked at the girl carefully. There were a handful of guilty feelings embedded in the recesses of his heart.
If only he hadn't insisted on taking Anya with him this afternoon, perhaps something like this wouldn't have happened. Or, if they hadn't been reunited, there was little chance of Anya getting this treatment from Axton.
Daffa rubbed Anya's cheek very carefully, treating her like something that would break easily if she pressed him just a little.
Being caught by the circumstances, made Anya finally tell all the events she experienced at Daffa, including the letter of their marriage contract which will expire in three months. Anya did not care if the man's assessment of her changed completely after hearing all the facts.
But Anya's mind was wrong. Anya was so surprised to hear Daffa's words that she insisted on taking the girl with her at once.
Anya refused outright.
He realized, his love for Axton did not diminish in the slightest He said he would spend the remaining time with Axton despite having to experience various suffering. Anya even held high hopes that Axton might return her feelings someday, which would automatically make the contract no longer valid.
Despite the pain of hearing the girl he loved aloud say love to another man, Daffa still tried hard.
Daffa pressed his teeth firmly, his anger again exploding imagining how Axton treated Anya harshly, to make the girl battered.
Axton should be grateful to be loved by a girl as sincere as Anya. That guy should feel lucky to get Anya.
His hands clenched, he promised inwardly that he would directly beat up the jerk if they were reunited.
Axton should be taught a lesson.
Axton should feel the same pain, as Anya felt right now.
"I will always protect you, Anya" he said. His eyes refused to turn away from his girl.
"What are you doing in my house?" Axton who suddenly entered the house ran into Daffa.
When did he come? Daffa was completely unaware of his arrival. Hearing the door open just doesn't.
"How did you come and get into my place, huh?" Axton pulled Daffa's collar up high.
Daffa released Axton's hand by elbowing him. "You still dare to go home after doing something like this to your wife" she said.
"I don't think, the public figure who is being judged by many women turns out to have a jerk temperament like this." Continue Daffa cynical.
Axton brought himself closer, "Shut your mouth, damn it! And answer my question, how did you get off this floor?" ask Axton impatiently. His eyes glanced at Anya who was asleep on the sofa.just behind Daffa's body.
"Ahh, I know, it must be this woman who has invited you home, right?" Axton pointed at Anya's face. "Did she cry sobbing, telling you all about her husband's behavior and asking for mercy?" Axton laughed cynically.
"Great with guts. After presumptuously meeting another man outside, he now boldly invited the man here." Axton pushed Daffa and walked over to the sofa.
Daffa held Axton's shoulder from behind, holding the man back from getting any closer to Anya.
BUGH!
With all his might Daffa punched Axton to the ground. Fresh blood flowed straight from the corner of Axton's torn lips.
Axton is not silent. He immediately got up and replied to Daffa's fist, causing the man to bounce three meters away.
Daffa got up and ran over to Axton, his emotions really being at the top. "Junk like you doesn't deserve to be her husband. I'll take it from you, asshole!" Daffa kicked Axton in the stomach. Axton groaned in pain but quickly countered Daffa's kick.
"In your dreams, asshole!"
He immediately ran over and pulled Daffa's hand that was about to punch Axton back.
"Stop!" he screamed in despair.
Daffa and Axton stood to the left right of Anya. The breath of both seemed to sting. The blood had also soaked almost all of their faces.
"Goody! Now I know whose side you're on" Axton said.
Anya who realized her hand was still holding Daffa's hand immediately let go and walked up to Axton.
Daffa looked at Anya. "Well, he doesn't deserve to be with you. How long are you gonna live like this?" tanyanya.
"Follow me and I promise to always make you happy, Anya," Daffa said sincerely.
Anya could feel the sincerity of the man. He could not deny, that he was touched by all the sincerity that Daffa gave from long ago until now.
But he has chosen.
Let it be if this choice is indeed a weapon that can kill him in the future.
Anya returned Daffa's gaze regretfully, "I'm sorry, Mas, for having involved you too far."
"You don't have to worry, I'll always be fine and I promise to live happily. For this is the path I have chosen."
Axton smiled triumphantly. He pulls Anya's waist and hugs her possessively.
Daffa smiled smirkingly. Either be amazed or hate to see Anya's determination on Axton.
Is Axton really unaware of Anya's feelings or does she deliberately ignore them?
"All right then. May you be happy, Anya," Daffa took two steps back and turned towards the exit.
Before actually coming out, Daffa said once again, "My offer will always apply to you at any time."
After saying this, Daffa left the apartment.
"Sister, is it okay?" ask Anya shortly after Daffa leaves. He touched Axton's scarred, bruised face. Axton held Anya's hand and squeezed her until the girl complained of pain.
"No need to get your attention!" the man's left hand gripped firmly on Anya's waist.
"I remind you once again, before the contract is up, you are mine. So, no insect should want to touch my stuff, unless it wants to die."
Axton let go of Anya and walked up the floor stairs to her room.
BRACKET!
The sound of the bedroom door slamming. Anya could hear Axton's exasperated screams from there.
The girl reflexively held onto her chest. His heart aches not to play knowing that Axton's treatment of him is not caused by jealousy, but a feeling of unwillingness because his possessions have been disturbed.
He realized, Axton just treat him like his property, without caring that he is a legitimate wife.
Anya wiped away the tears flowing down her cheeks.
Can he get through all this?
Will his life path continue like this?
