Love Anya For X

Love Anya For X
Daffa Confession

Axton realizes, ever since Hana revealed their little secret, Anya has become a little more reserved. Anya's personality reminds her of the first time they met and just got married.

Anya continued to carry out her duties as usual, but now she rarely speaks to him.

Sometimes Anya looks very happy when she comes home from somewhere. Axton remembers Anya had a friend who was from her hometown. But until now, he had absolutely no idea how that person looked, and he had no intention of finding out either.

As at this time, it was obvious that the girl was trying not to squeal with excitement, having obtained permission from her to leave the house. Anya said, that she would go to the town square for a while.

Axton realized he never once took Anya for a walk out. Her secret marriage status makes Anya must be imprisoned in this golden cage.

Axton hung up. Callista gives Axton the order to pick up the phone and reply to any messages from Anya. Not wanting it to be complicated, Axton just obeyed the orders of his sister. Axton loved Callista very much, since childhood he will always obey Callista's will without exception.

...***...

"You're like you just came out of the cave," Daffa joked when he saw Anya so sparkling staring at the crowd around him. If you don't remember the age, maybe Anya has jumped up and down like a rabbit.

"Since living here I have never been anywhere, other than the Mall and Self-Serve Market." Anya replied reluctantly cutting off her eye contact on the array of colorful lights that adorned along the streets of the City square.

"Seriously? You've been living here for almost a year. Did your husband never ask you out on a date. As far as I know, newlyweds will still be doing habits while they're still dating." Daffa looked at Anya in astonishment.

"The thing is, I've never dated that man," Anya grimaced.

"He's busy working." Anya's answer was brief. "As there is gulali, buy yuk," the girl turned her talk by pulling Daffa's hand towards the cotton candy seller nearby.

...***...

Axton daydreams about Anya. There was not much he thought about the girl. Only one, the figure of an old friend who often mentioned Anya. She wondered how that person looked, to make Anya so happy every time they met?

"Sir, we're stopping by the town square" Pinta Axton told her private driver.

"Good, sir." Answer Mr. Joseph obediently.

Ian smiled, just now at the shooting location, he did hear clearly Axton's conversation with Anya. It is certain that the man is worried about his wife.

Since the Town square was close to Delia's house, Axton drove Delia home first, so the girl didn't have to bother going back and forth.

...***...

Anya and Daffa were now sitting on a park bench near the square. The man is happy to make Anya happy tonight, even if only by walking and eating seafood in a simple tent shop. The girl's taste is still the same as it used to be.

"Thank you, Mom, are you taking me for a walk?" Anya turned her head, looking at Daffa with gratitude. Daffa's heart is bitter. It felt like it had been a long time since he had gotten such a gaze from Anya.

"Together." Daffa replied sincerely.

Daffa. During this time Anya very difficult to open about her married life. The girl reasoned, that the Husband is someone who is very well known to the public, so she did not want the privacy of her Husband disturbed. Anya has great respect for the man.

However, Daffa can also feel other things besides that reason, I don't know what. What is clear, Anya's closed attitude has a bit of suspicion.

"Well, may I ask you?" ask Daffa with a serious face.

"Ask what, Mom?" Anya turned her eyes.

Daffa turned his body to face Anya. "Are you happy to be living a housewife with your husband? Are you happy to be married to her?" ask the man, seriously.

Anya budging. From his expression, he was convinced that Daffa needed a real answer. "Why are you suddenly talking about my marriage?" Anya tried to twist Daffa's question with another one.

"I just want to know. You're so secretive about your marriage. I know your husband's someone publicly known, but it feels like there's not only that reason you're reluctant to tell a story." Daffa said at length.

Anya was stunned, She did not expect Daffa to be so sensitive to her. Anya never mentioned Axton at all. Is his face really that transparent?

Anya shook her head and smiled knotfully. "none. We only promised to keep this marriage a secret for a while, until the contract for one of the projects my husband was working on was completed." Anya replied lying.

Daffa narrowed his eyes, trying to find out the lie from the girl's words. Anya turned her eyes to the street lights. He avoided eye contact with Daffa.

"You love your husband?" ask Daffa again.

Anya's face changed instantly, without a second thought the girl replied firmly, "Yes, I love her so much." The sincere smile that Anya showed when saying that, made Daffa's heart throb pain. But at the same time Daffa, also saw the light of the girl's eyes dim slightly, like holding something back.

"Goodoo. Remember Anya, you must be happy," Daffa said. "because if you don't, I'll take you from her." Daffa's next words made Anya not surprised.

"I mean, Mas?"

Daffa slowly grasped Anya's hand. Anya could not escape because Daffa immediately tightened his grip. "Please, just for a minute" he asked.

Anya relented, she let her hand be grasped by the ex-lover.

After catching his breath, Daffa began to tell stories. The man admitted, during his Post-Service education abroad, he could not stop thinking about Anya. The man regretted that their relationship ended just like that. He realized, he still had the same taste in the girl.

His sense of belonging grew more and more as Daffa set foot back into the homeland. Daffa forgets where Anya's house is, so she chooses to find out through her schoolmates.

Hearing that Anya was married completely shattered any wishful thinking that Daffa had built up.

Don't want to believe him just like that. He found out for himself how Anya is doing. He mustered all means to find her and unexpectedly, they met in the apartment. It turned out that Anya had been so close to him all this time.

Their meeting in the Apartment, which Anya had considered a coincidence all along, was also a lie that Daffa had planned. He did not want to meet his brother there, but himself.

Anya closed her mouth in disbelief. The girl was unable to speak. Anya did not believe there was still a man as good as Daffa who wanted to love her sincerely. When they were dating Anya was very fond of him, but Anya's heart remained attached to Axton.

"Sorry," Anya was only able to say that.

Daffa laughed a little. "Why apologize? I'm the one who should apologize,"

"I'm sorry if my confession makes you uncomfortable Anya. It's up to you to decide after this to hate me, I just don't want to be tormented for saving everything all this time."

Anya shook her head. "I don't feel that way, Mom. I can only say thank you for everything. Although I can't return your feelings, I hope we can still be good friends. I hope you can find someone who truly loves you, Mom. You're a good man" Anya said sincerely. The girl's eyes were slightly teary.

Daffa smiled, muttering a word of thanks. "Can I ask you something? This may sound very brazen, but I promise to forget this feeling afterwards" Daffa said.

"What's that?"

Daffa sighed for a moment. "May I hug and kiss your forehead, Anya? Ahh, although it seems rude, but for God's sake, I don't mean it." Daffa's cheeks flushed red, regretting the ridiculous request.

"True, after this Mas must forget me and consider me just a friend?" anya's question became a breath of fresh air for Daffa. The man nodded calmly.

Daffa approached slowly. Anya let the man hug her for a few seconds.

Anya tried to get rid of her unpleasant feelings. He did not mean to betray their marriage bond, he just wanted to make Daffa forget about him. Anya considers this hug and kiss is a form of affection for her sister.

Daffa let go of his embrace to Anya. Daffa's brown Netra looked at Anya deeply, while her right hand grabbed Anya's chin.

The man put his lips close to Anya's forehead, but before the lips landed perfectly on the girl's forehead, Daffa lowered his face.

Anya. Daffa stole his first kiss.

"That's right!"

Unexpectedly, Axton pulled the collar of the Daffa shirt and punched the man in the face until it bled.
