CHAPTER 44. NECKLACES

After doing his depraved Thing, Lion exited the main room leaving Iren unconscious. He then walked to his study to clean up before he flew to Canada. During this time, Lion did sleep separately with Iren, he chose to sleep in his study which he had conjured into a bedroom instead of sleeping with his wife. 

Lion went into his study, he opened the refrigerator. Take a bottle of wine and then sip the liquid that is deep black, until the remaining half. He massaged his temple, since he had thought about the change in Iren's attitude. Lion could clearly see the look of hate and disgust of the woman he had loved. There was a sense of tightness that he felt as he recalled Iren's gaze at him.

His mind looked back at the distance, where at the time he and Iren spent time together.There was a line of smiles on his lips as he recalled his togetherness with iren. But quickly he nodded." Nah! I can't remember it anymore" said Lion. He quickly shook his head and went into the bathroom.

Almost 30 minutes into the bathroom, Lion came out wrapped in a towel around his waist, then walked up to the closet to pick up his clothes. However, when he opened the closet suddenly there was a small box that fell out of the closet. Lion bent his body and instantly took the fallen city right under his feet. He opened the box, as it opened, Lion fell silent as he looked at the box containing the gift for Iren. Actually the box he's gonna give to Iren right when they do the first night. But everything was unexpected, a thing that they never thought happened.

Lion then took out the contents of the box.a necklace left by his mommy, a necklace that made him become brave until this moment. He plans to give his mother's necklace to iren as a sign of his regret to the woman. But because of the incident, lion was forced to undo his intention to give it to iren.

Before long the door was knocked from outside. 

Tok, tock, tok. 

"Sir, do you hear me?"ask Jeremy

"Heemm, what's wrong?"

"Wait for me in the car, I'll catch up soon," lion replied from inside the room.

"Okay sir,"Jeremy said.

After no more noise from outside the room, Lion rushed to close the box and immediately put it back into the closet. Then he immediately prepared. 

It took 25 minutes for Lion to get ready. He looked back at the reflection of his body in the mirror, after which he came out of the room and walked towards the stairs. But as he was about to pass through the main room, he paused for a moment. He stepped up and wanted to open the door knob, but his hand came to a halt. It quickly dawned." Why do I see it" said Lion. He quickly dodged, then continued his steps towards the stairs. 

And it did not escape the sight of Mary who had just come down from the rooftop. Maria had just finished cleaning the rooftop area, but when she went down the stairs, she accidentally saw Lion who stopped stepping and was about to open the room iren.
