CHAPTER 24. PLEASE LET ME GO

You idiot!"said Lion, he kicked down the desk in his study. He stared at the people in front of him.

They all lowered their heads, afraid of the anger of their master.

"Find the woman, it! Don't let him run away. I'm sure that woman is still around the mansion." Lion spoke with sharp eyes as if he wanted to skin everyone who was there.

The bodyguards and maids simultaneously nodded and scattered to all corners of the room in the mansion.

Lion then walked towards the main door, looking for the bodyguard who had been guarding there.

After meeting the guard at the main door, Lion immediately asked if Iren had passed through the door. However, the bodyguard replied that no one had passed through the door except Jeremy who entered the mansion with a file.

"Damn it," Lion again' cursed, staring at the guard with a sharp look. He then walked towards the back door, but again the same answer he got from the guard at the back door. Lion then walked towards the hallway in the mansion.

"Iren, don't hide! get out!" shouted Lion.

No response from Iren. Lion kicked back at the table that was there. 

From behind, Jeremy ran towards him.

"Sorry sir, this is the cctv recording," said Jeremy. earlier when Lion will check the cctv recording in the mansion, the cctv recording can not be opened, maybe because there is a technical error.

Lion then grabbed the rectangular flat object that was thrust by jeremy, then he saw it.

"Iren, where are you, get out! or I'll give you a reckoning." shouted Lion right in front of the warehouse.

But again he did not get any answers, his hands clenched. He felt his soul getting challenged.

Irene who was in the back of the closet increasingly smothered her mouth, for fear that if her stuffing would be heard by Lion, her tears were getting louder along with cold sweat drenching her entire body. Fear is getting worse. He hoped Lion would leave the place soon. I'm still the daughter of a gantari family, I don't know who Albert is. So please let me go, "Iren kept begging and crying under Lion's feet.

Lion did not budge from his position, suddenly his chest felt tight when he saw Iren resting under his feet. He breathes a lot of oxygen.
