58. Responsibilities

"Here is the reason! Anyway I don't want to know, you have to take responsibility for my son, Kia." Mr. Gunadi is getting angry with the reason Brandon gave. He did not believe the words of his business colleague.

"If Mr. Gun doesn't believe me, you can ask your son right now!" brandon replied annoyed.

Gunadi also looked at his only daughter who is still silent behind his blanket.

"What did he really say, Kia?" todong Pak Gunadi to his favorite son.

"K-kia don't know, Pa. Kia was unconscious. Kia was drunk last night," said Kia with a downcast and mellow face, pretending to be sad.

"You answered honestly! Has he desecrated you?" urged Pak Gunadi while approaching his son who looks down.

"K-kia's telling the truth, Kia doesn't know what happened last night."

How shocked Brandon was to hear the confession of the woman he helped last night. He did not expect it to turn out that beautiful woman was the heart of a snake.

"I didn't touch Kia's skin! Not even close. How could I abuse him?" Brandon insists that he is innocent. It turned out that he misjudged people, so he could easily believe in that person.

"I don't want to know! You marry Kia or I spread this news until Rend's Comp is destroyed?" threaten mr. Gunadi.

Brandon who knows how the lunge of Gunadi sir in the business world, his guts immediately shrieked. There was no way he would sacrifice the company that raised his name. Moreover, it was the legacy of the company that made him the person he is today. He couldn't possibly let the company crumble because of the carelessness it had committed.

"Give me time to decide all this! I couldn't have decided the most important thing in my life, in just a matter of minutes." - Brandon.

"There's no time to think! Like you harassed my son without thinking long." refused Mr. Gunadi.

"I only asked for three days, nothing more! Is that incriminating to you?" brandon's ridicule for his annoyance was already on the verge of patience.

"This is a rare golden opportunity! I can definitely have Rend's Comp by marrying the two of them." Mr. Gunadi's inner voice pulled a little of his lips, so a faint smile seemed to adorn his lips. Without him knowing that Rend's Comp does not belong to Brandon entirely. Brandon only manages and is rewarded by the owner in the form of shares.

"I'm not a coward who likes to run from responsibility, Mr. Gunadi!" brandon exclaimed in annoyance, both of his hands clenched firmly preparing to hit the opponent.

"I will prove that I always keep my word and say what it is. Not adding or reducing information. And, most importantly I do not spread slander and testify falsely!'' brandon replied firmly and insinuatingly.

"Kia, now you go home with Papa! Clean yourself up and then we go back to Yogya." Gunadi ordered his son.

"Ba-good, Pa." Kia got out of bed with a thick blanket wrapped around her body. He walked towards her clothes that were lying on the floor, then took her to the bathroom.

After Kia left for the bathroom, Brandon immediately put all his belongings into the suitcase. He must go to the airport immediately, he already has an appointment with the Surabaya branch leader.

Mr. Gunadi waited for his son who was in the bathroom by sitting on the sofa. The two of them did not say a word. Both of them are equally overwhelmed by emotions, so they both choose silence.

After finishing packing his luggage, Brandon immediately left the room without a word. Brandon immediately completed the administration of the hotel at the reception. Leaving the place to stay after finishing with all the affairs, Brandon headed for the airport.

"Where's Brandon, Pa?" kia asked as soon as she got out of the bathroom.

"A run!" replied Mr. Gunadi origin while stepping his feet left the room, followed by Kia.

"Yaa. whereas Kia wants to go home with him." regretted Kia with a pouting face.

"Don't be too spoiled, Kia! You just calm down! Today he can escape, let him be free. After that we catch and tie as hard as possible so that it can never escape. Ahaha!"
