Love, Treasure And Erlita

Love, Treasure And Erlita
Chapter 8

Apparently luck had not greeted Erlita that night. When he was about to enter his room, his grandmother still did not sleep and caught him coming home late at night. Moreover, he saw Nafan walking in hassles carrying dozens of shopping bags owned by Erlita.

“Why haven't you changed when you're married?”

“What do you mean? Does anything need to be changed?”

“Starting today you can't go anywhere alone except with Nafan!”

“But who, if he works?”

“You won't go anywhere without Nafan's permission!”

“But, The –“

Nafan was happy to finally get one chance to lead. He rushed into the room and dropped all of Erlita's groceries on her bed.

At first glance he saw scattered items, a piece of clothing with a price of seven digits, he saw, eight-digit bags and famous brand glasses are definitely very expensive because Nafan had seen his boss' wife wearing the same glasses. The breath swallowed his saliva heavily.

“Eh, why do you care about my things?"

“Just make sure that this is not contraband stuff.” Reply Nafan leisurely while walking towards the sofa to sleep.

“What?! The contraband? Who needs this lesson?!” erlita murmured in the heart.

The next day, according to the orders of the grandmother, Nafan drove Erlita to the campus.

“Where is the same book my bag?” Erlita asked Nafan for the bag and the book she had left

“Di locker.”

“What?! How do you live in a locker? It was my personal stuff. Important all.”

“If it matters why be signed to someone else?”

“Yes because I per—“ Erlita directly corrects her remarks. “And I told you, I have other business and complicated if bring it.”

This guy turned out to be very annoying to Erlita. It always makes him emotional and uncomfortable. Just look, Erlita will make him wait for five hours. Let him know the consequences of dealing with Erlita Susbihardayan.

After finishing college, Erlita asked to be escorted to a cafe to hang out with her friends. They stopped at a fancy cafe in the middle of the city.

And unlike the cafes in general that have open and crowded rooms, this cafe actually provides private spaces in which there is each one bar table and bartender that specifically serves them only. It is more like a cafe in a cafe.

Erlita's friends had already gathered when they arrived. Five girls and three boys. One of the men who Nafan then knew named Dean came to greet, hugged and invited Erlita to sit next to him.

Erlita did not feel at all awkward to be treated Dean like that with the existence of Nafan there. Even more looks like Erlita does not assume that Nafan exists.

Instead of sitting down with Erlita and her friends, Nafan sat in the bar stool and talked to the bartender.

“Sopirnya Non Lita ya mas?”

Nafan nodded lightly. “Emang Non Lita is very often here huh mas?

“Iya is like a second home. Sometimes come alone while crying, sometimes rich rames gini sometimes to fall asleep here alone like yesterday.”

“Emang yesterday Non Lita come home from here what time?”

“Near midnight. Though he came here from the afternoon, around the clock that.”

Breath of relief knowing yesterday Erlita just overslept there and alone. Then ******that belongs to whom? Why is it there? Nafan again observed Erlita who was busy chatting with her friends while making out with Dean.

“If that is who is mas?”

“Oh, it's Mas Dean, his girlfriend Non Lita.”

“They often come here both?”

“Early but not too often. I don't know if in another room. Usually Non Lita likes it here. But maybe also Non Lita want to change the atmosphere and choose another room, I do not know.”

Soon Dean came to the bar table and ordered a concoction of several types of drinks that Nafan knew contained alcohol. Dean returned to his seat and handed the drink to Erlita. Nafan immediately got up and grabbed the glass in Erlita's hand and returned it to Dean.

“Eh, what the fuck is lo?” dean asked angrily with Nafan's brash attitude.

Nafan did not reply but instead dragged Erlita to get up and get out of the cafe.

“Wait here!” Nafan leaves Erlita in the car and returns to the cashier's desk to pay for Erlita's order.

Nafan was quite surprised because the price of drinks and rent a place in the cafe was almost half of the basic salary for one month. He was forced to use a credit card that had been just sitting sweet in his wallet.

Nafan is classified as a person who is very careful in using credit cards. Since owning it, he has only used it once to pay for a drug belonging to Mbah Minto, an elderly kara who happens to live near his official home. And he was a little sorry because that day, Nafan was forced to use it again for a very insignificant affair.
