Love, Treasure And Erlita

Love, Treasure And Erlita
Chapter 29

Pratiwi was immediately rushed to the hospital. He was admitted to the ICU because he needed intensive treatment. Erlita was very sad to see her grandmother lying in the hospital.

Five hours later, Pratiwi was reported to have decreased consciousness, difficulty breathing and was eventually pronounced dead.

Erlita is getting worse, now she has not only lost both her parents but also her grandmother, the only family who loves her sincerely.

Erlita's anger grew even greater to Nafan. He believes that Nafan also caused his grandmother's death. If only he had not married Erlita then the events of that day would never have happened.

After taking care of all the hospital administration, Erlita immediately brought her grandmother's body back to Jakarta by helicopter. Pratiwi was later buried in the family's private cemetery, right next to the grave of his grandfather, Suryo Susbihardayan.

Not having a sabbatical, Nafan was forced to return to Banyuwangi for work after a few days accompanying Erlita through the days without her grandmother. That morning Nafan said good farewell to Erlita but Erlita who was still angry did not touch Nafan at all. It was just the hatred Erlita felt for Nafan.

Nafan began to submit a transfer letter again in order to live in Jakarta with Erlita. But it seemed, without the help of the Pratiwi, it would be very difficult for Nafan to carry out. He had to live his long days apart from his wife.

When having enough time off, Nafan took the time to go to Jakarta to meet Bintoro in prison. He asked for the personal phone number of his daughter who works at Erlita's company. Even though Erlita was angry with him, she had to make sure that the girl he married was always in good shape.

After Nafan's departure back to Banyuwangi, Erlita desperately fought against his longing for the man she had been married for almost four years. He instilled his hatred deeper so that he could forget the man he had loved so much.

After the inheritance was read out by the lawyer in front of all the family members, they finally knew that Erlite was the one who got the rights to most of the inheritance left by the grandmother.

Susbihardayan Group company which houses furniture companies, wood factories, malls, apartments with eighty rooms and three-story shophouses in the business center of Jakarta fell into the hands of Erlita. The mother house also belonged to Erlita.

While Sania got the house she lived in, ten hectares of land in Jogjakarta and traditional restaurants in Bandung and Denpasar.

While Bram only get the house he lived in and the paint factory in Semarang and Surabaya.

The three other Pratiwi grandchildren, namely Kenny, Jihan and Johan, each got one villa unit and ten three-storey shophouse plots in Bandung, Denpasar and Surabaya. In addition, Johan is believed to manage two buildings that are rented for sports facilities and art galleries in Denpasar and Meda.

- Shareholders' meeting

After hearing the contents of her grandmother's will, Erlita decides to follow her grandmother's will to take over the company from the hands of her uncle, Bramantyo. That morning there will be a meeting of shareholders to determine the CEO or president of the new company.

Erlita owns thirty percent of the shares, while Bram and Sania each fifteen percent, Farah, Prasetyo and Kenny each five percent, Johan and Jihan four percent each.

All the family members except Johan sided with Bram, so Bram received forty-nine percent of the vote. Erlita and Johan combined received thirty-four votes.

Just before the results of the vote were announced, a man who claimed to be the envoy of the owner of seventeen percent of the remaining shares passed his vote to Erlita. After all the documents and power of attorney were checked, it turned out that all were legitimate and Erlita was appointed as the new CEO with a fifty-one percent vote.

Since that day, Erlita has officially taken over the leadership of Susbihardayan Corp. While Bram chose to leave and start taking care of his paint company.

Bramantyo was completely angered by that unjust will. She hated her mother who, since she was a child, had always ignored and excluded her from Danuarta and Sania.

She remembers how her mother used to hold her two brothers every time she drove and picked them up at school, while letting her walk in the back to follow them.

So also whenever going on a family outing on a private yacht, they would occupy the VVIP room while he was left in the regular room with the servants. Although he is not the son of Pratiwi, his father is Suryo Susbihardayan. He deserves to be treated the same as his two brothers. Not like a maid.

Once upon a time, Pratiwi, his mother was furious when he accidentally dropped Danuarta, his eldest brother. His mother even called him an illegitimate child. Such a wound would never be able to forget Bram for the rest of his life.

No one ever truly accepted and loved her in that family. So he grew up to be a rude, irritable person and likes to play hands to vent his anger.

He could never accept his mother's treatment because even until the moment of his death his mother believed in Erlita who was still unstable and smelly than he had devoted almost half his life to raising the company.

He felt unfairly treated all his life. He wanted Erlita to get a reply for making her look so bad and apprehensive. Bram will take back the company from Erlita's hands.

Bram re-establishes his business and gathers the power to crush Erlita to pieces.
