The bel sign finished reading, the students dressed in high school clothes scattered from the school where they studied. Among the other students, a student was still standing in front of the class to pick up the phone.
"Mommy's bad mood again?"
In his uniform there was a sign of Rinaldi Cakrawala's name, he took a breath of puffiness and ruffled his hair.
Her mother sometimes behaves well, but if in a bad mood she does not even see the exact face of Rinaldi with her late husband when young.
"Thank you Bi, take good care of mom. Today I'm going to stay at Om Gerald's house."
.
Revan and Devinda applauded, Key was boasting his trophy and told how Miranda was doing so cool yesterday.
"But aunt kelen!"
Revan nodded and clapped, in contrast to Devinda who was ogah-ogahan. "You've repeated this 5 times, Key."
"But aunt is too late!"
"Truly Dev, like the movie that we often watch!"
"Hey intentions?"
Revan hugged Gerald who had just arrived, the man took off the tie and looked at the children one by one. Key showed off his trophy and his charter as well as Devinda who played the smartphone.
"Why did the tumben come home so fast?"
"Don't you miss Papa?"
"Who said it?"
"Miranda."
Devinda nodded, her father could have been fooled.
"Who's Miranda?" Rinaldi arrived after Gerald, he smiled brightly as he spread his arms until Key ran to hug him.
"Sister Linal!" greet Key.
Rinaldi smiled, he turned his attention back to Gerald. "Om I'm staying over, just a few days."
Gerald agreed, he called one of the workers who brought some large paper bags. "For you guys, but the green gift goes to Miranda."
"Ready Papa!"
Gerald ruffled Revan and Devinda's hair before leaving.
While Rinaldi was approaching the children, he still held Key in both arms and sat in the middle of the twins.
"Green for Auntie, let's separate first." Devinda separated some boxes, there were at least two green boxes they encountered.
"I bet Aunt won't like it," Revan responded. "Papa's taste is always bad when choosing a gift."
"Hey-who is Miranda?" ask Rinaldi curiously.
The twins only realized his presence after being forgotten. The two children glanced at each other before acting sweet-ass.
"Our new mama candidates~"
"Papa likes~"
"Oh come on little devils, where it might happen," replied Rinaldi panted, he pinched the cheeks of the two children one by one.
"Yes already if Brother Rinal doesn't believe~"
Rinaldi frowned, he did not believe it at all. For him the twins are too often toyed with and rarely honest with what happened.
He ignores the two children who re-unpack the gift and turns to Key, "Key, shit is Miranda?"
"Our nanny's aunt."
That answer makes more sense.
Then Rinaldi could feel the back collar of his jacket being pulled, he reflexively lowered Key from the sling before standing up following the pull.
"Who are you? a thief?"
"No! It's good, who are you?"
The person who pulled him did not reply, Rinaldi started to fret. Complaining, the man dropped him until his butt hit the floor.
"Key, who is this guy?"
"Sister Linal, Auntie! he's not a bad guy."
Rinaldi was still complaining as the older woman crouched down, Miranda chuckled softly as she extended her hand to Rinaldi.
"Sorry, I'm Miranda Husain, the babysitter. Are you ready, Mr Horizon?"
So she's Miranda in question.
Not too young, even older than previous caregivers.
Not too pretty either.
Even Rinaldi thought that there were many beautiful women out there who wanted to be babysitters so they could be close to Gerald. Well, it's only natural considering how rich the man is.
"Hey I asked!"
"Oh sorry, I'm Om Gerald's niece. Auntie-"
Miranda's face suddenly became fierce, Rinaldi actually laughed.
"Okay, I'll call Auntie."
"This child! I'm younger than Mr. Horizon why did you call Om while I was Auntie?"
"Om Gerald is still 32 years old"
"I'm 28 years old!"
"Back-"
"Auntie looks old anyway" Revan said, he placed two green boxes next to Miranda. "It's a gift from Papa."
"Specifically for Aunt, but don't be disappointed if the gift doesn't go your way" Devinda added.
"Why?" ask Miranda.
"Om Gerald sucks at picking gifts."
Miranda laughed, ah, right too. From the face of Gerald only Miranda can know if the man is very boring, why can his late friend who is always trendy want with a man like that.
Must be because of that extra-marital pregnancy incident, huh.
"Auntie let's open, Key wants to see."
Miranda took out a box and opened it. It contained only macarons and a few bottles of soda, the other box contained a dozen black coffee grounds in the bottle.
Miranda smiled strangely. "I'll thank Mr. Horizon."
"What?!" Revan pats Miranda on the back, Devinda does the same. Their faces were shocked.
Rinaldi who saw also joined in surprise, "That's what Auntie likes?"
There was no way Gerald could give a good gift, or the Miranda gift type was too trivial to guess. Whatever it is, it's a miracle of the world.
"Tante, not Auntie. Yes, it fits perfectly with what I need. You want macaron?"
"LORD!" Key was the only one not surprised.
.
.
Gerald finds the children getting along in the playroom, also finds Miranda sleeping quietly in a chair with a face full of scribbles, most likely the twins. Seeing that he subconsciously smiled faintly.
"O-om, just smiled?!"
"Yes?"
Rinaldi covered his mouth, he pointed at Miranda and Gerald in turn.
It made Gerald throw a flat look at his behavior.
"Om not possessed? Om smiling for that Aunt?"
"Why not? Miranda's funny."
Gerald smiled amusedly.
Rinaldi was more and more inexhaustible, his brain began to think about things that are not necessary.
"Om like that aunt?"
Gerald chose silence, but Rinaldi knew the answer. The twins said it was true.
If so, Rinaldi must help get Gerald's love avenged. However, this will be full of struggle because from his first impression, Miranda is a stubborn female type who is always determined to live without the help of men.
"Since when?" ask Rinaldi.
"It's been a long time."
Rinaldi did not like ambiguous answers like this, so he imagined if Gerald liked Miranda since school first. But where could it have happened.
"When will Om confess Om's feelings?"
"No, Miranda hates me."
Rinaldi notices Gerald's mood swings are too drastic when it comes to Miranda.
"Ha why?"
"I made his best friend die."
"Huh? So Auntie's best friend the nut?"
Gerald nodded.
Rinaldi clasped Gerald's shoulder, "It's not Om's fault, it's karma!"
Rinaldi had always disliked Sarah, since Gerald was married to her even until Sarah died, there was nothing he liked about such a woman.
To her, the accident Sarah had was karma.
So hearing that Gerald still blames himself for the incident 4 years ago makes Rinaldi hate Sarah even more.
"I'll help Om get aunt's heart," Rinaldi breaks up.
