Miranda knocked on the door once more, but the response of the twins who locked themselves up remained the same. The two children were silent, making Miranda even more worried.
"Open up, baby? Aunt bring food."
There's no response.
Miranda paced back and forth indistinctly at the door, she regretted why she didn't come home sooner and ended up like this.
His head was dizzy, he immediately pulled Rinaldi who had just climbed to the second floor with Key whom he was carrying. The teenager grimaced as the grip on his hand was too tight.
"Auntie's off."
"Rinal answered first, what did Siska say before I came here?"
Miranda must hear everything. He had to know all the chronologies to deduce everything.
"Secretary Om Gerald who acted, I do not know why there was a birthday party suddenly. Aunty's supposed to know, right?"
"I don't know, either, Key took shopping from morning. All our walks, I don't know Siska is this close!"
Miranda was tired.
He knocked on the door again but again there was no answer at all.
"Then what Siska said is true?"
Rinaldi did not dare to answer, he was silent. Choose to distract and play around with the tip of Key's head.
The thing Siska said must have pierced into their hearts, it made Miranda panic even more to the twins who might be hurt or the like.
Finally Miranda sighed.
"Don't Key-"
"Yes." Yeah."
Miranda was not out of thought, her head suddenly ached to think about what kind of trouble was going on in this family. He did not expect if something like this happened in the real world instead of in the soap opera, especially his best friend was involved.
He did not know the details, but began to know the rough picture.
"Auntie," call Key, he's tugging at the end of Miranda's shirt. "Don't tell this to Papa, Papa will be sad."
Miranda nodded, she crouched down to kiss Key's forehead.
"Key is now with Rinaldi, right? Brother Key is going to have time alone~"
Key said he waved at Miranda as soon as he followed Rinaldi to another room.
.
.
It's almost midnight, but the twins aren't out at all. The kids have not eaten since.
Miranda was a bit worried, let alone the supply of snacks in the room refrigerator was thinning. He was afraid that the children were starving and getting more restless because there was no snack.
He knocked on the room again.
"You guys, let's open the door, it's a snack!"
There's no answer.
There was only a faint sound of sobbing. Predictably if the twins cried since then, it made Miranda sick. He doesn't like people he already thinks children keep wounds without being able to handle.
Then he took a cell phone.
There is a name he should be contacted.
His boss.
The phone was immediately picked up, the hoarse voice of the adult male he memorized greeting in his eardrum.
'Miranda why are you calling?'
His boss must have been distracted from suddenly being called, perhaps also feeling uncomfortable getting a call in the middle of the night like this.
"I'd like to let you know if the twins"
'I already know.'
Miranda's lips suddenly choked, her emotions rising by a split second until she involuntarily started wearing with a rather loud voice.
"Bag, the boss should be home soon! There's no reason or I'll assume Boss is a bad father and I'll take the kids away?!"
He immediately closed his call.
Miranda's body immediately slumped, she sat down with attention to the ceiling. The servants were supposed to approach her, but on Rinaldi's orders no one dared to say hello, especially because Miranda's face was like not wanting to be disturbed.
"What the hell are you doing Sarah?" Miranda was upset, she ruffled her hair.
Perhaps secretly also laughing at how the woman's waking face looked like a madman.
"What?!" ask Miranda fiercely.
Gerald cleared his throat, he was like a scolded husband.
"Bos if you already know should go home dong! I have to solve this complicated problem! Don't stay in the office like people don't have jobs! Arghhh, I'm upset."
Miranda smiled bitterly.
She still grabbed her hair out of frustration instead of playing.
His eyes were red and almost crying, Gerald came forward to wipe away Miranda's tears. Gerald's movements made Miranda surprised so fixated, he only realized when Gerald back backwards.
"I'm sorry."
But Miranda's emotions still didn't subside.
"Boss must know how to get kids to eat, right? They haven't eaten since! I'm worried, or am I gonna break the door down?"
"Why haven't you done that since?"
"I'm afraid the door is expensive, huh, my salary won't be enough to replace it!"
Gerald smiled.
He handed the paper bag to Miranda and replaced the woman knocking on the door. First of all there is no answer at all, but Gerald keeps knocking.
"It won't be opened if the boss just knocks" Miranda said.
He had just picked up a milk box from a paper bag. The milk box is familiar, but where is it?
"Try calling them."
The man finally opened his voice.
"Revan, Devinda. Miranda's worried about you guys"
His stomach was elbowed, Miranda glared at him and pointed at Gerald quickly. The woman signaled she would cut Gerald's neck if he didn't tell the truth.
"Huh, Papa is worried about you. So open the door, huh?"
Gerald racked his brains.
He had to persuade the twins at least to answer his call, otherwise Miranda would have cut her neck off because she was too upset.
"Kids."
Voice tired.
Gerald let out a tired sigh, he knocked back, somewhat stronger than before.
"If you believe in Papa, please open the door. Anyway, Papa is your father. Stay as your parents no matter what."
Miranda has no idea what's going on, but for now Gerald is showing a weak back that Miranda subconsciously reaches.
The man retorted by grasping Miranda's hand, carrying a smaller but rough hand to stick around her lips.
"Don't let go."
Miranda was clumsy, she did not expect to be treated like this.
Fortunately the sound of the door opening and the children standing in the middle of the door made Gerald let go.
"Papa remains a jerk, yes" sneered Devinda.
Revan immediately pulls Miranda in, then codes Devinda to slam the door without hearing Gerald's explanation.
"Stupid aunt! should just ignore us like auntie's best friend did!"
Devinda was tired.
He clenched his hand, while Miranda held Devinda's shoulder.
"What exactly happened?"
There was no answer yet, the twins glanced at each other. Making the impatient Miranda switch to holding Revan's shoulder.
"Auntie also needs to know the fault of your aunt's best friend to you," said Miranda sincerely, she needs to know what Sarah has done up to this.
However, an unexpected answer came out of the twins' mouths simultaneously.
"That woman has nothing wrong with us."
"He's got it wrong to Papa."
