"Bi, Om Gerald really wants to come, he's just got a problem"
Miranda shut Rinaldi's mouth, who had been babbling, and dragged the boy out of the car after dinner.
"He's a businessman, and of course he's busy."
"But Om Gerald really wants to come."
Miranda chuckles.
To him it was useless to know such information, he opened the door and Key had already welcomed him. The boy asked to be carried so Miranda had to bend over a bit.
"Bi."
"Oh my goodness, Rinaldi! For God's sake I'm not angry or upset!"
Key's eyes flickered, he saw Rinaldi's pale face.
"But Om Gerald wanted to come, he didn't mean to play Auntie. Aunty has to give Om a chance" Rinaldi said.
Miranda frowned.
Why Rinaldi seems to look at Miranda like a boyfriend or anything that needs to caress Gerald's affection.
Though in fact the relationship between the two is only employer and subordinate, no more everyone understands it.
"Yes, I really don't care."
"Auntie don't hate Papa!"
Why is Key also following along.
"Papa good."
Yes he agreed, because the salary that the man gave five times that of the UMR area, how could Miranda not think it good, but only to this extent.
The rest of him still regarded the Gerald Horizon as a scary person.
"Papa is loving."
Oh, just to his kids.
"Papa must have done what he loved well."
Let's just say Miranda didn't listen to him.
He tried to shift the topic, "Why isn't Key sleeping?"
"Not sleepy, Key wants a fairy tale."
Miranda smiled, she stood up and immediately stepped towards the children's room while Rinaldi was still faithfully trailing. Meanwhile, their commotion was heard by many other employees.
.
.
Gerald woke up in a folding chair, his eyes open adjusting the intensity of the incoming light.
Last night, Siska who should have gone home called to help solve the problem accidentally hit the residents. The woman cried as she asked Gerald to come in person.
Gerald should have sent someone else, but Siska insisted with a sobbing voice.
Upon arriving at the scene, he saw Siska who did not dare to open the car door and lock herself, while the residents shrouded the woman's car.
Gerald has to step in and somehow the people's minds, he and Siska are instead asked to stay overnight as collateral.
"Sir, I'm really sorry for bothering you" said Siska.
Gerald looked up and down, to this state he wondered how the woman could change into a nightgown above the knee.
"No problem."
"Sorry once again sir, your dinner with Brother Miranda is off because of me. I'll help explain to Brother Miranda not to be angry."
"Miranda won't be angry."
Siska drew closer, her chest clinging onto Gerald's arm that was already standing.
"If you want, I can accompany you to breakfast instead" he said. He hugged Gerald's arm tightly, then looked at Gerald with a subtle smile.
Gerald jerked at Siska's handrails, then released himself and took some distance.
Smartphones reads.
Gerald immediately went out and went downstairs to look for a signal and answer the phone.
.
.
'Yes?'
Miranda frowned, the voice of the Horizon master was more hoarse than usual.
"Boss, just woke up? I'll call you later."
Miranda immediately turned off the call. Then look at the children and one teenager who saw it with longing eyes.
"Master Horizon just woke up, we can't bother him."
Revan and Devinda look at each other, they snatch Miranda's smartphone after. Key puffed his cheeks, and Rinaldi patted him on the forehead.
Ami who was looking sighed, he pushed the drinks that his four masters wanted from the kitchen table.
Ami gave a small smile, he thrust out a cold bitter coffee. "Excite, if I were you I would have been gagged."
Miranda cengo, she hit Ami's arm playfully. "I'm not a granny, you know."
"I mean, you're babysitting 4 troublemakers."
"But the kids stay cute!"
Ami chuckled and returned to the kitchen after waving.
Revan pulls Miranda's clothes, he hands over the smartphone that has been connected to Gerald's.
"Hello Boss, sorry to interrupt"
'I'm sorry for breaking my promise last night.'
Miranda laughed softly, "I see, Boss must be busy."
There was the sound of breathing from the ground.
'How do I make up for your wasted time?'
"U-"
'In addition to that.'
Miranda grimly, she looked at the children and saw Revan and Devinda looking at her. He remembered the letter BK that the two children handed to him yesterday.
The twins are the best trouble makers, but they are cute.
"Maybe if the boss comes back before Monday it'll be a fair pay, there's something about the kids I need to talk to face to face."
Rivan and Devinda elbowed each other, they smiled brightly.
'I'll definitely be back, but ask for anything other than that.'
Miranda's forehead shriveled again, she didn't know what to think so she slightly pushed away the smartphone and squatted down towards Key.
"Key what do you want?"
"Cayon!"
Miranda pinched her baby's cheeks, then brought the smartphone closer together again. "I need a Crayon, maybe a coloring book and a drawing book at once."
'Huh.'
'I asked about your wishes not the wishes of children.'
"My wish? The money."
Rinaldi laughed out loud, he took over the smartphone.
"Om, just go home and bring Auntie some food. He must be happy!"
Rinaldi hung up the phone call, he and the twins laughed.
Miranda held Key, she wanted to ignore the three people who were still laughing. But their laughter bothered other workers, and he kicked Rinaldi to the ground.
"BIABI WHY THE HELL?!"
"Don't be noisy, take the kids around there."
"Where's the car key?"
"Street."
"Not cool."
.
.
Gerald got out of his car, his eyes running around. Once entering the house there are no signs of Miranda or the children.
Gerald handed some paper bags to one of the servants.
"Where are the kids?"
"The children are away with Mr. Rinaldi."
Gerald decided to go upstairs, he would rest a little while waiting for the children to come back.
However, once opened the door someone who fell asleep on the sofa made him silent for quite a long time. It was a bit unexpected that Miranda did not come with the children.
The man approached immediately, touching Miranda's hair.
"It's still like before."
The way Miranda fell asleep was the same as the last time she remembered, Gerald smiled faintly.
He took off the suit and made it a blanket.
Then turning down the stairs, he picked up one of the paper bags and brought it back up. He put it on the sofa side table.
"Miranda," he called her very soft. He gently grasped Miranda's hand, trying to channel the warm feeling he always had for her, only a short while later he released her back. "I love you."
There was no reply, Miranda was also unlikely to hear it.
Gerald knew, for now he could not impose his will.
