Ckleek!
Keyla was very panicked when she heard the sound of the door swinging open.
Keyla had forgotten to lock the room, she hurriedly turned her head towards the door, and quietly heaved a sigh of relief when she saw that it was Amira, not her brash sister.
"Sorry, I'm bothering you. Do you want to sleep?" Amira went straight to Keyla's bed.
"It's okay, sit down, I don't want to sleep yet either" Keyla replied with a slight stammer.
Keyla tried to hide her tears, not wanting Amira to know what had just happened to her.
However, Keyla could only wipe away her tears, she could not cover her tracks just like that.
Keyla's eyes and cheeks are clearly visible still. Anyone who saw it, would have instantly known that Keyla had just cried.
Amira noticed Keyla's face, and at once she scrunched her forehead. "You just cried?"
Keyla answered with a head.
"Are you in trouble?" search Amira again.
"No, I'm fine." Keyla lied again. But it was useless, because Keyla answered him with a still sobbing voice.
Amira breathed a heavy sigh.
"You don't want to share your problems with me?" ask Amira to care.
Keyla could not answer, what should he say? There's no way Keyla will tell you about Bara's treatment of her sister, right?
So rather than mispronounce, Keyla would rather silence her mouth.
"When I had dinner last night I saw you were fine. Is it because Brother Bara is bothering you again?" guess Amira.
Keyla shakes her head, she is not ready to share her story with Amira, although she really needs someone to share her grievances.
'Surely Brother Bara who has made him cry, he is always disturbing girls, ' muttered Amira, he was so sure of his conjecture.
"Alright, maybe you don't want to tell someone new about your problems. My name is Amira, rest up, I hope you get better soon. Just come to my room if you need a friend to share, maybe we can be good friends" Amira said with a sincere smile.
He left Keyla's room.
After Amira left, Keyla immediately locked the door of her room, then returned to lay her body on the bed. Keyla closed her eyes, bringing a tormented heart into dreamland.
The next morning after breakfast. Keyla met Miss Kyara who was sitting in the living room.
Although a little afraid, Keyla tried to brave herself, her determination was already round to leave this cursed mansion.
"Tante, may I speak?" asked Keyla carefully.
"Come, Son. Sit here." Lady Kyara patted the sofa next to her.
Keyla nodded then sat down beside Kyara. "Thank you, Auntie."
"What do you want to say?" lady Kyara asked with a shady look.
Keyla sighed deeply, then took out Kyara's ATM card.
"Don't tell me you want to get out of this house?" cut Kyara.
Keyla nodded slowly. "Yes, Aunt. I just want to stay with my friend. I don't want to owe this family too much. For me, the help that Auntie gave me for my father's medical expenses alone is more than enough."
Lady Kyara looked at Keyla in a deep voice, she could see another reason behind Keyla's words.
"Tante knows that's not the real reason. And whatever your reason, auntie won't let you leave this mansion."
The soft but firm voice made Keyla's head bow.
"Tante just wants to keep a promise to your mother first. Now that your parents have left you here, your aunt has also accepted the responsibility with open arms. So aunt can't let you go, no matter what the reason is."
"And this card, keep it! Use it to buy all your needs." Lady Kyara put the ATM card back into Keyla's hands.
Keyla bit her lower lip, she didn't want to give up. Keyla thought hard to get a more reasonable reason, in order to get out of this mansion.
Lady Kyara is indeed a good person, even too good.
But his monster son? Ah, nevermind! Just remembering it made Keyla want to cry again.
"But Tan- ...." Keyla's words were cut back.
"Tante doesn't like rejection. One more thing, you don't have to worry about the boy.Tante won't let him bother you anymore!"
Keyla did not understand what Kyara said. "Who is that kid, Auntie?"
"Aunty means Bara. Don't you want to get out of here because Bara likes to bother you?"
Keyla was speechless, from where did Kyara know the reason she wanted to go was Bara?
Keyla certainly did not want to say Kyara. He doesn't want Bara to get more brutal, or maybe he'll do something worse than last night.
'God, why would I be stuck here? Help me to get out of this house, Lord, ' Keyla murmured inwardly.
At the same time, Amira came to the room. "Yes, don't be afraid! Mommy will definitely protect you from Bara's brother. I know you cried last night because Brother Bara was bothering you, right? I told Mommy."
"So night he was also scolded by Mommy" added Amira, sitting next to her.
Instead of feeling calm, the fact that Bara was scolded by her mother made Keyla even more afraid.
"Where is your brother now? Mommy didn't see him at breakfast!" Lady Kyara turned her eyes to Amira.
Amira shakes her shoulders. "I don't know. Maybe he went to his apartment after being scolded last night."
"Yes, let him stay there, he came home to make trouble" upset Miss Kyara.
This shady-eyed woman turned her eyes back to Keyla. "If he comes back to harass you, don't hesitate to complain to auntie."
It was like the gaze of a sincere mother wanting to protect her child.
Keyla could only nod softly, she was not at ease if she had to force the will to get out of this house.
In Keyla's heart he could only hope, may Bara no longer be rude to him.
