Like Marrying a Boy

Day after day Agnes went through felt empty. Although Gatra never tired of giving news, but Agnes still felt there was less especially when she was in a state of pregnancy. She wants to enjoy the cravings with her husband. 

Luckily, there was Janu who was always beside Agnes and never once left her daughter. The man took care of Agnes including obeying whatever cravings the woman. 

Just like today, Agnes is very eager to drink a shaken avocado that is near the minimarket which is quite far from her home. Agnes did not want another even though Janu had offered a close one, but Agnes was very resistant to even crying out loud. By force, Janu went there for his daughter. 

While waiting for his return, Gatra called again. Agnes accepted enthusiastically because the woman had missed her husband so much since. 

"What are you doing, Nes?" gatra asked as his face just filled Agnes' phone screen. 

"I'm waiting for papa" said the woman spoiled. 

"Where is papa going?" ask again. 

"Go buy a shaken avocado. I crav. You know, it's lucky there's a dad who's always reliable and obeys whatever I want" Agnes said. He did not realize that the look on Gatra's face had changed. 

"I'm sorry, Nes." Gatra's voice was heard softly to make Agnes frown deeply.

"Sorry for what? You don't have anything wrong with me." Agnes was confused herself. 

"Because I can't keep you company. I should have been by your side and accompanied you through a period of cravings, but I couldn't. I can't be a good husband to you yet" Gatra said. 

"Oh, don't think too much. There was a father who always accompanied me. You take it easy because papa is also very happy with his future grandson." Agnes tried to calm her husband. "But if you can. Hurry home. I've missed you so much. If you don't go home too then I'll catch up with you" he threatened. 

"Yes, I promise I'll be home soon when my business is done" Gatra said. Smiling knot. Agnes smiled as well. Afterwards, the two men chatted a lot before Gatra turned off the call because he had to meet someone.

Two weeks later. 

"Don't go there. Let anyone go to Gatra" said Janu, forbidding Agnes from following Gatra. Moreover, these two days Gatra's phone can not be contacted at all. Makes Agnes feel anxious and suspicious. 

"But, Pa. I'm going to come with you. I can't wait to see Gatra soon" whined Agnes. Janu strictly forbids, but Agnes keeps forcing her to come along. Eventually, Janu gives up and lets Agnes go with him. 

During the trip, Agnes was happy and could not wait to meet Gatra immediately, while Janu was also happy to see his daughter's behavior. 

"This, Pa. Look there's Gama's writing there." Agnes pointed to the large writing displayed in front of the restaurant. Gatra's branch restaurant. Impatiently, Agnes ran in. No matter to Janu who came running because he was worried about Agnes. 

However, just getting in there, Agnes grimaced as she fell along with a woman who collided with her. 

"You're fine." 

Agnes looked up when she heard her husband's voice. However, he was surprised to see Gatra helping the woman and not him. 

"Gatra!" agnes screech screeching. Making Gatra jerk and immediately release the woman earlier. 

"Agnes." Gatra helped Agnes rise to her feet, but she refused and chose to ask Janu to help her rise. 

Gatra was fixated, but he gulped violently when he saw Janu's sharp eyes. Like he was skinning her alive. 

"Sorry, Nes. I didn't know it was you. Anyway, why didn't you tell me you were coming here." Gatra tried to grab Agnes' hand, but the woman immediately hid her hand behind the body. 

"I hate you!" Agnes stomps her feet. Gatra did not give up and tried to apologize to his wife. 

"Don't touch my daughter!" Janu's thunderous voice instantly distracted all of them. Including Gatra who immediately closed his mouth tightly.
