"Why are you talking like that? You don't love papa anymore?" ask Janu. His gaze towards Agnes shone a disappointment.

"It's precisely because I love Papa. I don't want to be away from Papa anymore." Agnes wiped away the tears that were still flowing.

"Darling, listen to me." Janu stood half-squat and clasped his daughter's hand very tightly. The man's gaze could not lie how much affection he had for Agnes.

"Honey, from this moment on papa won't leave you again. Papa will always be around you no matter what."

"Did Papa promise?" Agnes was so demanding an answer. He was afraid that the father would just give him a false promise. Janu quickly nodded in agreement.

"Thank you to Miss Etha. Because of the kindness of his heart that has forgiven papa, from now on papa can be free. Ms. Etha has forgiven and taken care of everything well" Janu said.

"Is Papa serious?" ask Agnes not to believe it. The tears that had just stopped were now about to flow again.

Agnes turned her head and looked at Margaretha who was crying with her best friend. However, as much as possible Margaretha gave a smile to the girl.

"E-etha." Agnes was unable to speak anything anymore. His tongue was suddenly confused at that moment. He let go of her hand and ran to Margaretha and hugged her tightly.

"Don't cry" Margaretha ordered. Even though the woman was crying right now. Instead of subsiding, Agnes' cry was even louder to make everyone panic because a few seconds later, Agnes was unconscious. Janu was very scared and immediately carried Agnes out of the room.

The surprise event that had been prepared in such a way, finally had to be delayed because they were panicking and worried about Agnes.

In a VVIP inpatient room, Agnes lay helpless. His face was already very pale and various tools were attached to his body. Agnes tried to open her eyes. Then the middle-aged man who was standing next to the gurney. Agnes breathed a sigh of relief because her encounter with the papa was not a dream. He also clasped the man's hand very tightly.

"Don't make me worry about you, honey." Janu rubbed Agnes face full of tenderness. In the little heart of the man was a deep sense of anxiety.

Agnes did not reply, she just smiled as if showing everything was fine. In fact, when the doctor came to check on her, Agnes just kept quiet.

"What do you want, honey?" janu asked as he looked at the movement from Agnes.

"I want to talk to Etha, Pa." Agnes' voice sounded soft.

"Remember, you have to rest a lot. Miss Etha was waiting in front of the room." Janu is worried that Agnes will drop back.

However, when he saw the look of Agnes' eyes that were so asking, Janu was forced to get out of the room and told Margaretha to come in immediately.

Margaretha's steps seemed to be fast approaching the gurney. In fact, not yet sitting, Margaretha had already grasped Agnes' hand very tightly. The worry clearly filled the woman's face.

"Oh my God, Nes. You're making me very worried." Margaretha's eyes glazed over. Feeling a little relieved because Agnes already looks better. "Don't make me worry anymore."

"I'm sorry, Etha. I've disappointed you" said Agnes softly.

"Loved how?" margaretha asked confused herself.

Agnes took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. "You've prepared a very festive party and a very wonderful surprise for me, but I screwed it up."

Margaretha rubbed the top of Agnes' head full of affection. "No problem. Your health is more important, Nes."

"There's one more thing, Etha." Agnes looked at Margaretha very closely.

"What?" margaretha asked impatiently when she saw Agnes was silent.

"Why did you free my papa? Wasn't he guilty of killing your parents. Why are you so good, Etha."

Margaretha was silent because she no longer knew what to answer.
