Letter From Primus

Letter From Primus
ONE: LULA DARLING PRIMUS

Lula stretched out a leg while putting up the sandals in a hurry. What was on his mind at this moment was the bruised face of Primus. The woman quickly walked through the street to the mouth of the complex.

Lula looked in all directions. Search crowd. A second after finding a group of people involved in the uproar, he immediately ran again. Cross some food vendors on the side of the road and then cross.

Not only did she reach across the street, Lula screeched. It was obvious that the woman saw someone just launch a hard blow to Primus' face so that the man's lips were immediately endowed with blood.

Lula's breathing was hunting, with an unwavering heartbeat, he rushed to run again after several motorcyclists flashed in front of him. The woman seemed to be moving forward as hard as she could. A roar full of anxiety seemed to flash on his face.

Lula was already at the end of the crowd. His hand tried to push the people in front of him so that he could reach the center of the fight. Then, again, the woman screamed loudly when she saw Primus avenging his opponent—so that someone unlucky was hit by the fist slumped into the street.

Primus clasped the collar of his opponent's shirt and punched the pierced man's ribs hard. Primus was lashing out as if he could not be stopped. His opponent groaned while trying to free himself.

Before he could break away, Primus hit his enemy's back as if he wanted to damage a block of wood. Not getting there, Primus threw a lightning-fast kick in his opponent's stomach. Everyone screamed at the fight.

Lula quickly grabbed the Primus that was in front of him. His hands tightly hugged the man's body. Lula knew very well that Primus' anger was still stirring. Primus' hard heart can be felt. But Lula would not let go of his embrace before Primus completely calmed down.

Lula's own tears flowed and nothing could dim Primus' emotions except the tears of the woman who was holding him. With a reddish face full of emotion, Primus snorted. "We go home" he told Lula.

Primus actually wanted to continue the action, but that would not have been possible if there was Lula nearby. Meanwhile, the excitement and cheers continued to echo, but Primus ignored him. He took Lula with him to go home.

In between his steps, the man passed by his enemy, warning someone who was still on the road with a pointed crib. "We're not done yet,"

Lula looked up at Primus' fiery eyes. Begging Primus to end the fight.

Without another word, Primus again walked with Lula in an embrace. While already on the road in the complex, Primus gritted his jaws. "Can't you cry if I'm done fighting?"

"Why do you have to cry? The bullied son of a bitch is like me again. Lo freaks!"

Lula jerking. "Lo said I was weird?"

For a while Lula seemed still staring intently at Primus's face which was actually covered in wounds here and there. But eventually the woman decided to turn the body. Lula as quickly as possible ran away from Primus.

But as she stepped up, the adrenaline of resentment in Lula faded. His hand had already touched the fence of his house, but he decided to budge there. Lula was intending to wait for Primus. His anger was once again extinguished because there was a strong feeling he felt towards Primus.

If he could turn his back on that guy, Lula had done it a long time ago. But he can't. It will never be. They both grew up together. The relationship will never loosen even the stronger Lula feels every day.

Under the moonlight that filled the path, Primus suddenly appeared while trying to deduce the smile on his lips that was spiked with traces of blood. Primus raised his hand as he stroked the hair of the woman before him. "When did you get out of my life? And since when can I go ninggalin lo?"

Primus drew closer and pulled his hand back from the top of Lula's head. Then the hand was now trying to wipe away the tears rolling down his best friend's cheeks. His fingers rubbed gently on Lula's cheeks. "Not crying. I'm sorry. So... Now let's help me do this wound."

Lula's oddity of contact just slipped off in between her stuffing. He lowered a finger, pinching Primus' stomach in agitation. "Luckily you're handsome, Prim!"

"If not?" Primus raised one eyebrow.

"I've lived here a long time ago." Canda Lula's.

Primus laughed, embracing Lula's shoulder. "If my face has been injured like this is still handsome in your eyes. Still make you feel at home for my same deket."

"Apaan sih lo. Amused ah." Lula shuddered in Primus' embrace.

They both laughed and entered the house of Primus. Primus who was embracing his best friend back then would never know how pounding Lula's heart was. If there was another word to indicate something beyond friends, then that was how Lula felt.

Sharing joys, sorrows, stories, secrets, and even unwittingly, Lula has secretly shared her love for Primus.
