The day passed so quickly, now it was time for Kinara to run her 3rd chemotherapy.
As usual, Kinara was preparing to leave, this time Kinara was accompanied by her parents again.
This time also the AL again picked them up, after all the events of that time, AL and Kinara did not meet, but communication was still well established.
“ Ara, not ready huh Bu?.” Ask the Navy who can't wait to meet Kinara.
“ Not yet, still preparing, biaslah Ara if preparing takes a long time.” said the mother is friendly.
“ I'm ready.” Kinara interrupted directly.
AL also began to stare fixedly at Kinara, it felt so difficult for AL to avert his eyes.
“ Let's go.” Kinara's words make AL aware.
“ Mari.” Bring AL.
They also headed to the AL car and after all entered the car, AL began to drive his car to the hospital.
No talks throughout the trip.
Arriving at the hospital, as usual they went straight to the chemotherapy room.
Sister Anggi had been waiting there, shortly after they began the process of chemotherapy.
But unfortunately this time Kinara's body did not respond well to the drug.
Al was so shocked, realizing Kinara's body refused to take the medicine he was giving her.
“ Try once again Doc.” Said Sister Anggi who realized the AL was starting to worry.
They tried again, but the results were nil.
“ Stop.” Tell AL to Sister Anggi, who is still struggling with all the equipment to put chemical fluids into Kinara's body.
Both of Kinara's parents just exchanged glances, they didn't understand anything.
Hearing the words of Doctor AL, immediately Sister Anggi stopped her activities.
Al was very disappointed to realize that.
If only he did not remember both of Kinara's parents needing his explanation he would have already directly left the room.
“ What's up Doc?.” Ask Kinara's father.
“The chemotherapy can not be continued sir, because Kinara's body rejects it, if forced then the impact will not be good for Kinara.” Clearly AL.
“ Then what should we do Doc?." It was Kinara's mother's turn to ask.
“ Wait for Kinara to wake up, then we will check more details again and decide what action we should take.” Clearly AL.
Both Kinara's parents could only nod their heads.
“ I tithed patient." Al told Sister Anggi.
AL passed away from the room, and went to his private quarters.
AL opened the door of his room, then closed it back and leaned on the door, slowly his body began to degenerate, all his energy as if it disappeared just like that, replaced by pain, desperate and feeling like a failure.
His eyes started to warm, imagining bad things happening to Kinara.
I don't know how long AL just sat there he himself didn't realize it.
It was the knock on the door that made her realize. AL got up immediately, then opened the door. Sister Anggi is standing there.
“ What is Sister Anggi?." Ask AL in a lethargic voice.
Sister Anggi realized the condition of AL is not good, he could see that the AL was so hit.
“ Doctor AL fine only?.” Anggi asked.
“ Why?." AL also asked.
“ Doctor looks very shabby and uninspired.” Sister Anggi.
“ I feel useless as a Doctor." Al said slowly.
“ Don't say that Doc, there's still another way to help Kinara." Anggi understands for sure because Kinara is the AL said so, but he did not think that AL loves Kinara, he considers it AL feel because his task is to help and address patients.
“ Her intent?.” Ask AL not understand.
“ We can do operation action for Kinara.”
AL choked, it is the way, but the risk is also heavy.
“ I think you know, what are the risks of this action Sister Anggi, Kinara's life is a bet.” Al firm.
“ Then if not in surgery is not it will remain the same, his life will not last long, so I do not think there is any wrong to try, until whatever the will of God later, for sure we won't regret having tried everything.” Sister Anggi explained again.
What Sister Anggi said is very true.
“ Now how is Kinara? is he awake?.” AL did not respond to Sister Anggi's words earlier, but instead asked something else.
“ Yes, that's why I'm here.”
“ Alright come with me.”
AL & Sister Anggi back to the chemo room.
There AL explained everything to Kinara's parents, including Kinara himself.
The Navy explained only one operation was his one way to save Kinara.
Both Kinara parents can only obey, but they need time because of the cost constraints are not small.
AL explained that he would give time, but before the surgery was done then Kinara had to take medication regularly.
Kinara and her parents could say nothing but accept and obey the doctor's orders.
