Leon slowly opened his eyes and tried to sit up, but his head hurt and his whole body felt like it had been crushed by something.

"Where is this?" leon realized that he was in a very dark forest.

"Your master is currently at the bottom of the abyss of death" Liona replied.

"What about bi.." Leon stopped his words when suddenly a memory flashed through his mind.

"You're right too, it looks like I fell into this abyss because of something that attacked me from behind" Leon said.

"But why this place is not at all similar to a ravine, and instead looks like an ordinary forest with a strong aura of darkness" Leon said.

"This is indeed the abyss of your death, more precisely right now you are in a world of darkness within the abyss of death, you better be careful because the monsters in this world of darkness are very fierce and also very strong the weakest in this world are God-level monsters" Liona explained.

Leon widened his eyes when he heard Liona's explanation, if in this forest the weakest one was at the God stage then how powerful the monsters in this forest really were

"I'd better be more careful" muttered Leon.

Leon then began to explore the forest that was in the depths of the abyss of death, the more Leon walked into the forest a different and also strange atmosphere he began to feel, the cold that pierced to the bone, until there is no sunlight that illuminates the forest, it can even be said that in the forest there is absolutely no such thing as the sky, which there are only towering trees.

Leon continued to walk carefully through the forest, he increased his vigilance to the highest level because he did not want the same incident to repeat itself as when he was attacked from behind on the brink.

From a distance Leon faintly heard the voice of a woman who shouted for his help, out of curiosity Leon shot at high speed towards the source of the sound.

"Liona can you hear the screams just now?" ask Leon.

"Sure sir, from her voice it seems like she is in trouble" Liona replied.

"Alright then I'll help him immediately" muttered Leon.

Leon stopped his steps and immediately climbed up onto a large tree branch then he hid the aura of his existence so that no one would notice his existence. Leon focused his gaze in one direction then he widened his eyes when he saw a beautiful girl being chased by a hundred high-level beasts.

"The woman is in trouble, Liona how high are the beasts chasing her?" ask Leon.

"They are all in the Chaos master stage and five of them are in the Legend stage" Liona replied.

Leon could not help but be surprised upon hearing Liona's words, how could a hundred high-level monsters be able to chase after a woman. Leon was hesitant between having to help the woman or not, and for this time he had to think about it carefully because the opponent he was going to face was 95 Chaos stage monsters and the other 5 were at the Legend stage.

If equated with humans, Leon will currently face 95 Legend-stage knights and 5 other knights in the Saint or Expert stage.

"Whoever do I beg to save me" said the woman as she continued to run with all her might.

Leon increasingly could not bear to see it, without thinking long Leon jumped from the top of the tree and immediately used high speed to approach the woman, when he arrived next to the woman, Leon immediately pulled the woman's hand and then they teleported to the place where Leon first came to the world of darkness.

The roars and howls of the ferocious beasts were heard seething within the forest in anger as they realized that their quarry had suddenly disappeared without a trace.

"Un.tuckily I did it" Leon said.

"Thank you" said the woman Leon had saved.

"It's because they want something valuable from me" the woman replied.

"So yeah, now you can calm down because it's far from them all" Leon said.

"My name is Leon Anderson, your name is?" ask Leon after introducing himself.

"My name is Ashley Tisdale" the woman replied, shaking Leon's hand.

"Well then how about I take you home?" ask Leon.

"I'm alone in this forest" Ashley replied briefly.

"That's it, then how did you get to be in the abyss of death?" ask Leon curious.

"I had a family before, but my father and mother were killed by evil people from the continent of the sky, I tried to run away from them all until I subconsciously entered this Dark Forest forest and ended up in the abyss of death" Ashley said sadly.

"I'm sorry, if I make you sad" Leon said.

"It's okay at least now I'm not alone anymore" Ashley replied looking at Leon with a friendly smile.

"You're right Ashley all this time I've always been alone, even though I have a family but somehow they don't consider me at all, I also have two brothers but I still feel alone, until I meet a very good old man to me, he was the one who cared for me after mom and until now I thought of him as a grandfather and now I'm here with you, even though I just met you but at least I'm not alone in this abyss" Leon said.

"Sorry to make you sad" Ashley said.

"No ap... What did you call me for just a moment?" ask Leon.

"Sister. Why can't you?" ask Ashley sadly.

"Hahaha it's not Ashley, it's just that we just met and you've easily trusted me" Leon replied.

"Hmmmm then what's wrong, I know you're a good person proof that you saved me, so there's no harm if you're my sister" Ashley said with a smile.

"Hahahaha well then from now on we are brothers, and you are my sister" Leon said as he rubbed Ashley's head.

Meanwhile, Xin, Asta and Guts are seen getting worried because Leon never returned even though the three of them have successfully completed the task from him and even managed to save all the citizens.

"I agree with Guts, we should look for the master in the Dark Forest forest" Asta said.

"Alright, then let's go there" Xin said.

The three of them then shot out at high speed towards the Dark Forest forest, and it didn't take long for the three of them to reach the border of the Dark Forest forest then the three of them roamed the forest running as it was impossible to fly.

After many hours of searching the forest the three of them finally reached the brink of death, but when they got there they found no one, but it was the aura of Leon's existence that they could feel on the lips of the abyss.

"The young master's aura is here which means he was here once, but why is his aura only this far away lest the young master fall to the brink of death?" xin.

"If this is true then what should we do?" ask Asta.

"We'd better call the Great Elder" Guts said.
