Rain

The rain accompanied me tonight. Audie sat by the glass window, staring at the rain that hit the earth. For Audie, the window glass is a tancap screen, while the leaves of the tree are flown by the wind is part of the scene from the film.

For tomorrow, Audie will convey the love he has for Xavier. It's been a year or so that he's stuck in loving a man who doesn't know and will never know what it's like to love one-sidedly.

Therefore Audie will express his heart honestly for the second time, maybe Xavier forget that Audie ever present in the life of the man before, he said, and that they once painted a beautiful story even if only temporarily. And ... that expression of love will be the end of their love story.

Actually, Audie already knows Xavier's answer later. But on the other hand Audie wants to prove that if we are ready to love then we are ready to try, sacrifice and get hurt.

For the chocolate, Audie will return it if he is rejected. Tomorrow Audie will bring the chocolate that Xavier gave her just in case, though in fact, the 'no' answer the man will say.

The knocking of the room door managed to disperse the Audie daydream. A slim woman entered just like that even though Audie had not given permission. His hands carried a tray of warm chocolate milk and some cookies.

Linda put the tray on the nightstand. His hands gently touched his daughter's long black samurai. One kiss landed on the girl's forehead. "Drink milk, Deck."

Audie just nodded, clasping Linda's hand as if she wanted to be accompanied.

"Why, does Audie have any more problems?" linda asked then she took a seat on the edge of the bed. Audie approached the mother of two, hugging her mother's fat-free waist.

"Said Mama, Audie can't date before graduating high school. But, if Audie likes someone, can't she, Mah?"

The question made Linda laugh. From here the woman already knew that her daughter was in love.

"Falling in love is not forbidden, Dek. Especially liking someone. That is your right and everyone's right. You can fall in love with anyone and you can love it too. But, you will have to bear the consequences if in reality he does not have the same taste as you."

It seems, that sentence can already answer some of Audie's questions.

"If our age is different, Mah?" ask Audie again to someone who has experience.

Linda releases Audie's embrace, then holds both sides of the girl's shoulders. "The age difference doesn't matter, deck. That's the problem you have different beliefs. In our religion, different ages are not forbidden, because it is an ability."

Audie switched to sitting crossed her legs on the bed, she was getting serious about devoting her problems to Linda. "If we are 10 years away?"

"But, if the guy Audie likes already has a fiance, does Mama still say it doesn't matter?"

"Audie, now Mama asked.if you already have a fiancee, you really love the man, you do not want to lose him. There are still other women who like the man because of his good looks or even because of other advantages. He tried to take the man away from you even though he already knew that you were engaged. The question was able to make Audie speechless, then with a heavy heart he replied, "if Audie is very affectionate with the man, of course Audie will not be taken by another girl. If Audie is silent, it seems like Audie is too good to give my greatest treasure to others. Or even, Audie's gonna make that girl cheap." This time, Audie was insinuating herself.

Linda just chuckled softly, "well, you know that. That's how that woman feels now. Audie cannot be selfish for the satisfaction of your own heart. You can love him but not take him. I know loving without being loved is uncomfortable and painful. Mama didn't tell you to forget that guy, just let your heart keep loving him. Because if you try to forget it, it will feel heavier. So, let it be, slowly you will get bored and slowly he will be forgotten."

Audie looked down at Linda's face, and then she hugged her slender waist. Now, he knows what he has to do. Audie was so grateful to have an angel with no wings on her.

For Audie, the mother was not just a woman who raised and educated her children well, woke them up early in the morning not to be late for school, or even made a glass of warm chocolate milk. However, Mother can also be a friend, a friend to vent, a friend to spill all the flavors that she craves. Mama is great, she can be everything. Mama is strong, Mama is also Ironman who always try to keep and protect his daughter's son. Either keep his physical or even mental.

"Thank you, Mah. Thank you for always being near Audie, thank you for strengthening Audie and thank you for being a good Mama for Audie and bang Irfan."

Both corners of Linda's lips lifted, her hands again stroked gently the Audie samurai who was still hugging her body tightly. Linda kissed the head of her daughter.

"Together, darling. Remember Mama's message well, taking someone else's property is the same as stealing. Even though the man you like is still engaged, it is the same that he already belongs to someone else. You mean Mama?"

Audie just nodded, she still needed a hug in the torrential rain and cold weather tonight. It seemed, the body of the mother was warmer than sitting by the fireplace.
