CHAPTER 40 (SO I'M A BOYFRIEND)

“Mas, paddle dong, later I lost loh..” Karren whine makes Gibran surprised in disbelief.

“You are not a child that should be held by his parents Karren.” Reply Gibran.

An irritated Karren could only put his lips together, then he glanced at the man who looked to be the same age as Gibran, and at once Karren had a sneaky idea.

“Yaudah if I ask for a mas-mas gang there aja.” Said Karren who wanted to move his feet to approach the mas-mas.

Gibran immediately held Karren and looked at him with a sharp gaze.

“If you do that I will leave you here.” Firm Gibran.

“You stay with me here there must be many people who want to take me.” Reply Karren with a shitty face.

Seeing Karren's annoying facial expression made Karren glare in disbelief. All this time Gibran thought only his friends who like to be childish, but it turns out Karren's attitude is worse than them.

It feels like Gibran is now more suitable in saying SD babysitter than the person who is going to watch with adult women.

They finally arrived at the cinema, Karren immediately booked a movie ticket with a romantic-adult genre film. But it turned out that the ticket at the hour he wanted was not there and he finally decided to book a ticket that would start in two hours.

“I've booked the ticket, but there are still two hours the film starts, we eat first yes mas.” Take Karren.

Gibran nodded his head in agreement, he immediately walked next to Karren, following him until they finally arrived at the food court inside the mall.

Karren ordered some heavy meals and snacks, and even ordered a sweet drink to surprise Gibran.

Because Gibran thought Karren would take care of his body like other celebrities and artists, but he didn't.

And during the meal also Karren was just silent not much babbling as before because Gibran had warned him not to do anything strange.

Karren also had no intention to do anything strange because his stomach was already very hungry when he saw the food that had been served in front of him.

Gibran smiled looking at Karren who was eating voraciously, even while eating it seemed Karren was not thinking about his weight problem that would go up due to eating too much.

“I guess you only eat vegetables and fruits.” Gibran.

“Why should I eat vegetables and fruit?” Ask Karren.

“Well, don't public figures generally do that? They do not want their bodies to be fat because they eat food carelessly.” Reply Gibran.

“I do not like to eat goat food mas, said mami if mumpung still healthy we have to eat everything we want.” Karren.

“Emang you are not afraid of fat?” Ask Gibran.

“During regular exercise like it won't be fat right? I regularly exercise with Darren kok, let's just say it's fat burning.” Karren.

Gibran nodded his head, he liked the way Karren looked after his body, instead of eating vegetables and torturing himself, Karren preferred to exercise.

After finishing eating and chatting a bit, Gibran and Karren immediately rushed towards the cinema as the movie Karren wanted to watch would start in 5 minutes.

“You want popcorn?” Gibran asked Karren who was looking at his phone.

“Hemm, may be a mas, but just one romantic meal together.” Karren said as he blinked one eye.

Gibran only shook his head at Karren's flirtatious behavior towards him.

The film begins, Karren and Gibran sit next to each other and start focusing on watching the film that has begun to play.

Gibran was actually not enthusiastic and also did not know what was being watched by Karren, but he was still faithful to watch lazily.

“Nih eat.” Gibran said in the middle of the movie.

“Suapin..” says Karren by asking.

“Karren, you are not a child!” gibran.

Karren clucked in annoyance, then finally forced Karren to take his popcorn with his own hands, when at first he wanted there to be a romantic scene between the two but it turned out his plan was destroyed just like that.

Karren returned to watching the film seriously because Karren really wanted to watch the film.

Karren liked the film because he really idolized the actor who was the main character in the film, actually Karren wanted to watch it with Darren, but unfortunately Darren had seen the film with his girlfriend.

Finally Karren ventured to invite Gibran if Gibran did not want then Karren invited Kevin, and it turns out a miracle happened because Gibran wanted to accompany him.

Karren glanced at Gibran, who played his phone more and ate popcorn than watching the movie.

And only this time Karren realized that Gibran did not like the film he chose.

“You didn't like the movie, did you?” Ask Karren.

“I'd rather watch action thriller than romance like this.” Reply Gibran.

Karren just nodded his head then suddenly Karren leaned his head on Gibran's shoulder.

Karren could feel that Gibran's body was stiffening because of what Karren was doing. Karren who felt what he did was not wrong just continued to watch the film casually without caring about the man who became his seat now was silent like a statue.

“K-Karren, don't be like this.” Gibran Whisper.

“Why mas? Can they?” karren said as he pointed towards the two people sitting in front of them.

Gibran looked in the direction pointed by Karren, he saw a woman leaning on his girlfriend's shoulder and also wrapped her hand in her boyfriend's arm.

“That's because they're lovers, whereas we're just lecturers and college students.” Gibran.

“They will also not know if we are lecturers and students as long as we are not koar-koar mas.” Reply Karren.

“It is not appropriate Karren, if there are students who see us how? Could be gossip material on campus.” Gibran.

“Yaudah if that makes me your girlfriend aja mas.” Karren casually spoke while looking at Gibran innocently and smiling sweetly.

As Gibran stiffened at Karren's request, Gibran tried to turn his eyes the other way and refused to return Karren's gaze.

Because Karren was unwilling to raise his head, Gibran finally lifted Karren's head from his shoulder and Gibran immediately shifted his body a little further away from Karren.

Karren was upset and he could only put his lips together because of what Gibran did to him, Karren stared intently at Gibran, for some reason even though Gibran often rejected it but now Karren feels more upset than usual.

While Gibran who actually realized that Karren was staring at him just silently staring straight at the cinema screen as if he was enjoying a movie that was being turned to avoid the sharp gaze that Karren gave him.
