Flashbacks

Jaka slowed down the speed of his car. They've entered Sarah's yard.

The low-roofed house caught Jaka's attention. Its large yard makes it look fresh. Because their land is large, so the distance of their homes with other neighbors is quite far.

"Your house is unique" Jaka stopped his car.

"And old... Dad designed it himself when I was five years old. He said so he wouldn't miss his hometown so much", Sarah took off her seatbelt.

Sarah came out and began to stretch out her legs and arms. He stood for a moment. It was a house he hadn't visited in a long time. He misses his room in the basement.

Sarah frowned. Jaka still didn't get out of the car.

"Ehem... are you okay, honey?", Sarah knocked on the passenger door window. The glass is open.

"I'm a little nervous" Jaka answered with great difficulty.

Sarah held back her laughter. He opened the door and entered Jaka's car again.

Sarah smiled and drew closer to Jaka's face. He kissed the man's cheek at a glance.

"Said you'd convince my parents... He said you'd fight me... If my dear is sitting here, how would she meet them", Sarah holds Jaka's hand. He tried to calm her down.

Jaka turned his head and pulled Sarah closer. He kissed his girlfriend, trying to get rid of her nervousness.

"okay... Alright... Had enough... Let's go in", Sarah pushed Jaka's chest softly. The man backed off.

"Should I meet them today...",

"Eh? Where was the courage yesterday? Left behind somewhere?", Sarah teased the man.

Jaka got out of the car. And so does Sarah.

Jaka put both of their bags in front of the door. Sarah pressed her house bell. Then he tried to open the door.

Okay, locked. At least I tried...

"Still with me?",

"Ehem.yeah", Jaka replied.

It doesn't take long for someone to open the door for them.

"SISTER SARAH!! KYAAAA.", Sandra hit Sarah who could only resign.

"My little sister. You're much taller... Where are Mom and Dad?", Sarah's looking for their whereabouts.

That's when a couple emerged from the kitchen and immediately approached them.

Sarah could not hold back her tears. Those happy tears just don't stop.

"Hey.hey.. Mother's child is not this crybaby... Already do not cry.", explained his mother while occasionally wiping her own tear points.

"Already have. You guys are like a dozen years of not meeting. It hasn't been a year" Mr. Arnold, his father explained. He welcomed his son's embrace.

Sarah then pulled the hand of Jaka who had just been a loyal audience of the family reunion.

"Dad, Mom, Sandra... Introduce this Jaka. Emm... Sarah's boyfriend.", uh...",

Mutia's mother smiled widely. How not, with Jaka's appearance like that, which would-be-in-law would be unhappy?

Sandra could only close her mouth tightly with one hand. He did not expect his brother to meet such a handsome prince. The point is, he's envious.

Mr. Arnold himself looks flat. It made Jaka even more nervous. Should he say now or later.

Fortunately, Mother Mutia instantly broke the silence that made Jaka depressed.

"You better get in. We'll talk later. I've cooked a lot of lunches", Mutia's mother pulled Sarah and Jaka. Sandra was in charge of carrying both bags that the owner lived in.

Mr Arnold? He was still observing Jaka from behind. She did not expect that Sarah would actually be with the man. What he was worried about happened.

Flashback Mr. Arnold

With trembling hands in anger, Mr. Arnold signed the covenant letter sent to him. Inevitably he had to do so that his former colleagues did not send him to prison.

A few weeks later, Sarah expressed her desire to work in the city. He wants to have a new experience. After a few months of silence at home, he finally got the chance.

Mr. Arnold, his father offered him a job at a major corporation in the City. He said one of his friends was looking for someone he could trust to get into the company.

Sarah say yes. When again?

Behind him, Mr. Arnold asked for help to a connection in the company to escape his son. As an old friend, the man promised to help Mr. Arnold solve his problems.

What Mr. Arnold wants is not much. She just wanted Sarah to be friends with the family. To then seek and take what is rightfully his. Yeah, Sarah knew from the beginning. He knows who Ismail Wirawan Sanjaya is, he knows who Jaka is.

But it turns out Mr. Arnold's plan was never that simple. Sarah is facing a more serious problem with Mr. Indra. Sarah is no longer as busy approaching Sanjaya's family as her father had requested.

Mr. Arnold never had a chance to talk to Sarah, his son was too busy with his own affairs.

Mr. Arnold thought it might be time to end the company. He's too old for all this.

And today, Sarah came home with someone. Son of Ismail Wirawan Sanjaya. His son introduced him as a girlfriend. So, is that real? Was it just part of Sarah's plan? Do I have to stick with their plan any minute?? Sarah could never have guessed.
