LARA IS KARA

LARA IS KARA
Wo Sari's

Once upon a time, there was a little boy living with his mother in the middle of a forest far from civilization, about 10 km from Padang Lahu. They are isolated because they have no place to live, after his father was washed away and lost in the middle of the sea when looking for fish.

At first everything was fine, they survived by growing crops and utilizing whatever was in the forest.

But unfortunately the dry season then hit the area. Nothing can be grown to be used as food. They survive only by utilizing the rhizome tubers that have even begun to be rare at that time.

Two months passed. Because the dry season does not end, badung bulbs become increasingly difficult to obtain. Because of the love for her child, the mother was willing to endure her hunger and only ate leaves for a few days to make sure her child was alive.

Until one day, like a miracle, suddenly the rain fell on the forest where they lived. The child was very happy, he immediately ran to his mother who was lying in the corner where they lived.

The child told his mother to wake up to see the rain they had been waiting for, but unfortunately his mother never woke up, even when raindrops were seeping through their hut.

The boy was sad, all day he just cried next to his mother who was still lying in the rain that kept flushing the place. Only one hope at that time, hope his mother can wake up again. Until he did not realize that his body was slowly starting to weaken.

The boy is Wo Sari. My father found him unconscious the next day while looking for rattan in the woods.

In short, with the help of villagers close to the forest, the mother was finally buried properly and Wo Sari was then raised by my father to be his first child. Whether a mate or just a coincidence, indeed at that time my father and mother had not obtained offspring since 5 years of marriage.

Although not my biological brother but I love Wo Sari even more than my love for my other brothers. He was the one who understood me the most, when I fell and was devastated to see my friends continue college and my request to continue education was rejected by Father, he was the one who strengthened and encouraged my heart. He was also the one who gave me the idea to become a traveling salesman whose results I could save for my college expenses later.

Now, everyone was looking at him with teary eyes. It never occurred to us that Wo Sari would do such a thing.

“Who is that man” asked Dad in a loud voice. There was a tone of regret mixed with deep disappointment from that short question.

“Tega you wo. Decades of father raising you, what's the affection you've been giving me less ? or did you teach me wrong all this time ? ” asked Dad who was then followed by his broken cry.

As if powerless to hear the cry, Wo Sari immediately hugged Dad and apologized again. But surprisingly, Dad immediately pushed Wo Sari's body until it fell to the floor.

BRUKKK !!

We were all in shock.

Mom immediately tried to help Wo Sari, but before that happened Dad had already shouted forbid.

Mom tried to calm Dad down, but what happened was that Dad dragged Wo Sari out of the house.

“Come out you ! don't ever come back to this house if you don't bring that son of a bitch. “

We all panicked. Mother tried to hold back and remind Dad once again, especially that night the rain was still pouring very heavy. But the father who was very disappointed even closed the door loudly and asked no one to come out of the house.

The atmosphere of the house instantly became quiet.

From the window, I saw Wo Sari slowly stepping her feet through the rain and darkness of the night. I cried and tried to ask Dad to forgive Wo Sari, but again I ignored him.

I couldn't speak anymore, just my one wish that night. Hope Wo Sari doesn't meet Kukusan's ghost.
