Kosan Dwellers?

Kosan Dwellers?
KKN (Part 4)

"Eh you guys got no news from the kids here?" Ask my friends while eating cookies. That afternoon we were sleeping in the back room.

"Yes," answered one of them while tidying up the clothes he had just lifted from the clothesline.

"On this house?" My question is convincing.

He's nodding. "But yaaa, all this time we've been fine. Nothing happened either. Be safe, bismillah" he replied.

I also nodded. It's been two weeks since we've been living in this rented house, and there's nothing going on. Or maybe one of us had experienced something strange but they were deliberately silent? I don't know. Because it was until that day I myself did not crave strange things, and did not hear anything from all the members as well.

All I know, the floor and wall of the house that was originally anyep, the more here thank God the warmer. Maybe because the house was originally empty, now directly inhabited by us who are many. Satan was surprised maybe we came to the crackling. Wekek.

That morning we all had to get out of the post because there was an agenda that needed a lot of personnel. We need to record the elderly people in the village of Clove from the bottom to the top. Our agenda tomorrow is to hold free trials and consultations on the health of citizens. This agenda is fully held by our member doctors of course.

FYI (For Your Information), Clove village is located in the middle of the rice field. So from the main road (highway), we get into an alley that is only enough for one car. This road is flanked by the rice fields of residents. Residents' settlements mixed with rice fields. So there are some houses standing, then interspersed with rice fields. After the rice fields, how many tens of meters there then there is another house. So next. Plus this road is getting there. Ala-ala streets settlements on the mountain just like that. Can you imagine, huh? Well, this small alley road is the only access for villagers to go to the main road.

We were all getting ready to dress up that morning not forgetting to wear an alma mater. But when all was busy preening themselves, Meli tea was still tangled with her negligee, she smiled sweetly looking at us.

"Hh Mel tea's not coming?" I asked while wearing a veil.

"Huum. Just y'all. The road is far, right? Tired of me later," he replied while stroking his stomach.

Is correct. The road to the top is far away. While we have to walk there. The reason is only one, if you bring a motorcycle, a lot of trouble later. Parking, stopping intermittently.

"Keep Mel's tea with whom here?" Askaqua. Because I see all the members are busy tidying themselves up.

"I'm alone" he answered.

I gawk. By himself? Isn't this house rumored haunted? Why is Meli tea alone? She's pregnant anyway.

"Meli tea don't be alone at all! Whose company is that?" I looked for someone. "Teh Novi!!" I called Novi tea, Meli's tea roommate who was also her close friend. He came straight closer.

"Teh Novi at home just try! Accompany Meli tea," I persuaded.

"Sudaaaaahp. From last night I told you I wasn't coming. But the Meli said no, youes." Novi tea replied casually.

"It's okay if I'm alone, seriously." continued Meli tea.

"Teh Meli isn't afraid?" Tanyaku later.

"No, afraid of what? This afternoon," he replied, still relaxed.

"Iiiih, how will it be if Meli tea heartburn? Is there no one?" I'm still worried.

"Maha." Meli Tea laughs. "I'm the lahiran is still two months away Viaaaa. So it's omnipresent, hahahaha."

I scrunched my forehead. Meli's tea is pregnant, and she'll be alone in the rented house. Don't their countrymen like pregnant people? I was horrified to imagine it myself. However, we all finally set off ready to surround the village of Clove.

One by one the bottom house we have arrived. Now we are flocking towards the upper settlements. Before long, the upper house had our data. Our job that afternoon is done. But we did not go back to the post at the time. We invited one of the residents to see what I forgot. It's sort of a sacred place.

Until there, we went down quite a lot of stairs around which is a garden. Lots of banana and cassava trees there. Arriving at the main place, it turns out there is a kind of pond in the middle of which there is one large stone. According to the people who invited us there, they often hold what rituals are so every once in a while. I don't know what the purpose is, I don't pay much heed.

(This is a real photo of us members of Clove Village KKN. The view is beautiful, right?)

This village is still beautiful. The price of snacks here is still cheap when compared with the price of snacks in my village. In the village of Clove, by spending a little money we can eat full.

That day our agenda went well. We hurried back to the post. And until there, thank God Meli tea is fine.

About the rented house.

The rented house that we made this KKN post we rented from a middle-aged mother whose husband sold meatballs and traveling porridge. Their home was not too far from our post. When we asked about the house, he replied that the house we occupied was the house of his son who now lives in Jakarta. His son only came home occasionally, so the house was empty. And again, he said every afternoon and morning also entered the house just to turn on and off the lights.

But what I wonder, if the child is occasionally home and the mother every day enter the house even though only a few minutes for the benefit of the lights, the, then why does this house seem so long not live until the walls and floors are wet?

That afternoon Ipah permission to go home first. He'll be back in the post tomorrow morning. That means tonight he's not staying at the post. And om Indro allow. After all, if the night we just relax while designing the next agenda.

Tomorrow, the new Ipah came directly to invite some of us to gather.

"Here-here!" Calling him made us who were having breakfast instantly blend in.

"I have a story" he said again.

"What?" One of us chimed in.

"Yesterday afternoon when I came home, I was an angkot with his wife, sir, kades," said Ipah began to tell stories. We quietly listened.

"Yes at first we talked. He asked about how the smooth activities of KKN and so on. But, in the end he asked about this house." He said with a slight glare at his eyes.

"Huh? Miss Kades asked this house too? What say?" We're curious.

"He asked, 'Where do you live in that house? At home?' Is it weird, huh? Why is everyone asking about this house?"

We all nodded. It turns out that the babbling of the children here is not a figment. Until the class of ma'am kades also asked the same thing.

"What do you need to answer?" My toot.

"Yes, I'll just answer everything at home. We all feel right here?"

We nodded again. We are really at home in this house. There is nothing strange that we are experiencing.

"Keep ma'am kades say what else? Maybe there's some info he's given?" Ask us later.

"Don't say anything at all. He just said 'Thank God', so."

Nah right? Similar to the words of the children here. "Thank God."

What's with this house? What was? Is this related to the mother of the homeowner who rented this house at a low price?
