Kosan Dwellers?

Kosan Dwellers?
KKN (Part 1)

Hello friends, Bebee back nih 😁

Hands are actually tired. Just because it turns itchy too these hands want to write, so .. here we gooooo!!

As I promised yesterday, this time I will tell about my story while undergoing the KKN program first. KKN stands for Real Work Lecture yes friends, maybe some do not know. I underwent KKN in one of the villages in Cirebon, West Java. KKN is a program held by the campus for its students so that they can at least channel the knowledge gained during the lecture to help build the village.

If not wrong, KKN my campus was held in 2014, but I forgot exactly what month. But certainly, at that time KKN was implemented simultaneously with the submission of thesis proposals. For that we, who was then a 7th semester student, had to be smart to divide the brain and time to do two big campus tasks at once.

The university where I study is divided into several buildings that are divided at several points of the city, namely campuses one to four. That's how we call it.

Campus 1 contains students of management, pure economics, law, and moreover I forgot, many problems, hehe. Campus 2 contains students like me, namely education students. There are Mathematics, Bahasa Indonesia, and Economics education. For English, it just so happened that the building split, he was on campus 3 with medical students. And campus 4 is a backup campus, this was yes, I don't know now. In the past campus 4 was used as an additional class for us who happened to have afternoon classes. These four campuses are quite far apart. Need a vehicle to go to one of them if you do not want to be tired. Hehe. The main campus is campus 1.

I'm a student of campus 2, obviously do not know those who are on campus 1 and 3. Well, through the KKN program this is what finally unites us.

That afternoon me and my friends were waiting for the division of the KKN squad in front of the lecturer room. The division of the KKN squad name will be attached to the large mading in front of the room.

Before long, the mading has been filled with many sheets of paper containing the names of squads that are directly determined by the campus.

And, jeng jeng jeeeeeng ....

I saw the name of one of my squad members. None of which I know πŸ˜…

From my majors I'm alone, already like single, lonely not friends.

That afternoon we all students from campus 1 to 3 were asked to come to campus 1 to meet and get acquainted with the members of their respective squads.

At campus 1, there are many students there. I started looking for my team. And before long, one by one we finally got together. All the majors I mentioned earlier, there were all in my squad. Because indeed we are all deliberately united to build the village we occupy for the next 40 days. We at that time got the village of Clove, call it so let's be easy πŸ˜… Because it is the actual village that I can start with the letter 'C'.

"Where is Clove Village?" Ask one of us.

We sat around at that time on the terrace of the mosque while listing what we needed. We also know each other. We were all made up of 20 men, 14 women, and 6 men.

"Far away from here. On the city border, "answer one.

We were then provided with money by the campus of how many million so yes, I forgot. The point is that the money is for supplies we contract houses and others.

"Yes already know very well the location of Clove village, later survey ya, all looking for rented houses!" Indro's orders, the squad leader.

Indro that day was also directly appointed by us as team leader. If it's not wrong he's an economic kid. Indro itself is my name for him, the original designation when KKN yaa. He was indeed somewhat similar to the Indro warkop because, hehe. And I gave him the name 'Om Indro'.

***

That morning we had all gathered again at campus 1 complete with our own luggage, already like people want to move house only. All mats, dolls, pillows, bolts, clothes change one closet in all. Yeah, it was so exciting that morning.

"Where's the house?" One of us asked Ipah.

"good. Minimalist house. I think it was his new home. And the important thing, the price is cheap euy," replied Ipah eagerly.

It is true, the rental price of the house that Ipah mentioned is indeed cheap when compared to the rented house in other squads. And that's a smart choice. Because the remaining allowance can be used to add funds to KKN programs later.

"Eh but his room is only two. So the house is only enough for girls" Nani continued.

"Well? Keep us men sleeping where dong?" Ask Faruq.

"Besides the rented house there is a garden. Well, just sleep there!" Nani answered the origin.

"Hahahaha" Everyone laughed.

Although only known for a few days, but thank God we are immediately familiar.

"Relax, I have rented another house that is not far from the contract. Enough for the six of you" said Ipah.

Some afternoon, we were disbanded to go to their respective KKN villages. Members of the team together riding a motorbike each convoy to the village of Clove.

In less than 40 minutes we arrived at our destination. We parked our bike in the mushola yard. Because it is very grateful, the rented house we rented was right close to the mosque. We only need to walk less than 60 seconds then we will arrive for congregational prayer. Yes, the mosque was right in front of our rented house. What an incredible windfall. Alhamdulillahot.

We breathe the air in. It's still cold in there. Because indeed the village of Clove is very close to the rice fields. Then behind the rice fields there is a large river that is quite swift with large stones. Ciremai Mountain is getting closer from there. Not far from the rented house, there are many towering hills. Let's just say the village of Clove has entered into the mountainous region.

We are preparing to lift each luggage to be brought into the minimalist house nuanced purple. From the outside, the house looks beautiful. Houses with purple paint and orange floor patterned batik and natural rocks attached to some of the surface of the wall. I smiled with relief. Because Nani and Ipah are indeed smart to find a residential home.

(It's a real photo of me and KKN's friends yes.)

But after the door is opened ....
