Chapter 15 - Meeting Dad.

"lex? what are you doing here?" a woman came to greet Alex as she went down the stairs.

Alex raised his head. Suddenly his face was in disbelief.

"Selena?" Alex opened his voice which sounded a bit panicked.

Aliya immediately looked for the origin of the voice of the woman who reprimanded Alex earlier.

"Geez, what's that woman doing here?" Aliya muttered.

"Oh yeah, that's Selena, my half-brother," Alex said, pointing to Selena.

"WHAT?"

Alex and Aliya said at the same time and looked at each other.

"Do you know my Alex, Amir?" ask Selena.

"Huh, your Alex?" sahut Amir by asking questions back to his half-brother.

"Yes, he used to like me a lot, didn't Lex, you like me a lot? but he never dared to say, then I went to England on a date with Steve but after I came back without Steve, this man no longer likes me, because he has me—" selena's speech came to a halt as Mr. Sahid came scattering himself into Aliya's arms while letting out his cries.

"Aliya, I miss you so much" said Mr. Sahid in tears.

"Dad.. huaaaa.." Aliya's cry grew louder in her father's arms.

Aliya took off her embrace from the father, then stared intently into the eyes of the middle-aged man before her.

"Explain to Aliya, why did you go broke and get on television this morning?" aliya asked with a silent glance.

"Hehehe..." Mr. Sahid was about to step towards the back room prepared for him.

"Eit... Where are you going, Hayo? try to explain to your child who is beautiful, sweet, cute and full of sensuality..," said Aliya held the arm of her father who was willing to go to avoid her.

Alex held back his laughter, not expecting Aliya to treat her father like a child. Likewise with Amir and Selena who do not believe in seeing the attitude of the child and father.

Aliya and her father look very funny in front of them.

"Dad, let's explain it to me!" pinta Aliya stomped her feet repeatedly in annoyance.

"Dad's gambling again, right?" aliya asked while shaking her waist looking for an honest answer from her father.

"Why did Dad's company fall into someone else's hands, huh?"

"Dad lost a bet with that woman, so he took over Dad's company, sorry yeah...."

Mr. Sahid bowed his head before Aliya.

"WHAT? YOU LOST TO A GIRL?"

peekik Aliya did not believe what he just heard from his father's mouth.

"Enough! stopit! until when will you stop being addicted to gambling? maybe Dad's gonna make me a betting material because you lose gambling?" tanya Aliya made her father was already cowering in fear because of the clash of Aliya who was angry.

"Obviously, your father lost to the beautiful woman, proof that he just lost to you" Alex said.

"God! you have no business, so just shut up!" snapped Aliya turned sharply towards Alex's face with the hunch of his eyeballs that seemed to almost come out of his nest.

Alex lowered his head and fell silent.

"Hmmm the same, obviously since childhood this girl has been the head of the gang at school, the market thugs she fights," said Amir.

"You, if I say shut up, shut up!" Aliya pointed at Amir.

Alex laughs at Amir, but soon he can stand it when Aliya turns to him.

"And you Miss. Don't try to go along!" said Aliya who now pointed at Selena who had just been silent while listening.

"You pointed at me, how dare you—"

Amir immediately restrained Selena from approaching Aliya. Both characters are equally violent, will definitely produce a huge war explosion inside this house.

"Now you tell me, is it true that I was made into a bet because you lost your gambling? You want to marry me to an old man, right?" accuse Aliya.

"Where did you get that news? just so you know, son, I'm setting you up with a rich man that you're sure to like" said Mr. Sahid glancing at Amir.

"But he's old-fashioned, right?" ask Aliya again.

"No, he's young, handsome, dashing, and you know him, you must love him" Sahid assured Aliya.

"Dad lied!"

"Aliya my son, I will marry you to Amir" said Mr. Sahid.

Aliya immediately turned to Amir who was smiling sweetly at her while crossing her arms. Alex immediately watched Amir's figure carefully.

"Do you want me to propose to you now?" ask Amir.

"Wait on! didn't I hear wrong? this girl is getting married to my sister?" Selena spoke up to cut off Mr. Sahid and Aliya's conversation.
