I'm Not Letting Go

Alyssa arrived at the company. He rushed into his room and started busying himself with all his work.

He deliberately did so only to forget his pain of Ken's words.

"You okay?" ask Alvin who feels that the woman is not okay.

"I'm fine, brother." she replied briefly

"Oh, thank goodness!!" Alvin knows that Alyssa's lying. Seen from both eyes Alyssa who was like holding back a cry. And he can guess if it's all because of Ken.

Alyssa looks excited when she goes to Basecamp to surprise Ken. But no matter what happened, it seemed like everything was not in the way that the woman expected.

"I checked the cctv two years ago. And it looks like the footage we're looking for has been deleted by someone." Exclaim Alvin

"really?" ask Alyssa

"Yes. But I'll try to recover it. Who knows, could. And we should focus on those reports in the months before Edo was fired." Alvin

Alyssa nodded in understanding. Although this is very complicated but at least they can look for irregularities or fraud that might be done by Raymond by sticking to the information provided by Edo.

Edo told Alvin and Alyssa everything. Edo said he heard Raymond talking to his assistant who wanted to manipulate financial statements for personal gain. But because of that too, Edo was dishonorably fired.

Even Raymond makes Edo not welcome in any company by spreading rumors if Edo corrupt the company.

Therefore Edo could only work as a construction worker. But with Alvin's help, Edo can now open a small business.

But something's weird. Why is it so hard to find anything suspicious? It's as if this report wasn't manipulated at all. Is the report maker an expert? Or maybe this is a big conspiracy involving many people in the company ?

Neither Alyssa nor Alvin wanted to speculate just yet. Now all he had to do was to double-check the report carefully.

"It looks like tonight I have to be late." Alvin said

"Why is that?" ask Alyssa

"From now on I just checked the report two years ago and I haven't done my job today. I have to make a proposal for our cooperation that was delayed when the company was led by Mr. Raymond a few months ago" Alvin explained

"Why didn't you tell me, brother?" Alyssa was quite surprised. Because it also concerns him who is the leader of the company.

"Sorry Lys, it's not that I don't want to tell you. But seeing that you're so eager to surprise Ken, I....

"Whatever the reason, you should have told me, brother." interrupted Alyssa. He took a deep breath and leaned his back.

It's his fault too. After meeting with Edo, he decides to visit Ken's basecamp and his motorcycle gang.

Alyssa knew where she was because while Rain was in a coma, Alyssa had followed where Ken had gone. Even Alyssa knows Ken's usual place in wild races.

Initially he plans to follow all of Ken's activities. He wants to understand Ken, know the man's feelings and desires so he knows the right way to make Ken sober.

Alyssa doesn't want Ken to change by force. But Alyssa wants Ken to realize that the world is beautiful.

But unfortunately losing the most important person in his life, Ken gets even more wild.

"If you're overtime, I'll be overtime too. Brother can do sister's work, and I'll learn it later." cried Alyssa

"Are you sure? What about Ken?" ask Alvin

"Ken huh?" alyssa Mumbles. He looked at Alvin and said, "Sister need not worry. He's grown up and can take care of himself."

At exactly 21:00 p.m., Ken just got home. He opened the door and found a dark house.

He looked for the light switch and turned it on. The sepis!! Like uninhabited.

"Where is Alyssa ? Is he asleep?" muttered. "What do I care?" Ken was going to his room because he wanted to take a shower. But the rarity stopped when he saw the food on the table.

It reminded him of lunch in Basecamp. "What am I thinking?" mumbling again. Ken didn't care about it and immediately went upstairs.

Suddenly his steps stopped. He looked at the dining table because he felt something was strange. And to make sure, Ken went back downstairs and headed for the dining room.

There, the food available is not only neatly arranged. But also tightly closed. Ken opened one by one the place to eat and there are some of his favorite food menu.

"Don't Alyssa normally shut down food like this?" Out of curiosity, Ken wanted to ask Alyssa directly in her room. But his eyes accidentally caught a piece of paper that was placed under one of the food stalls.

Ken narrowed his eyes. He took the paper and read it.

"Sorry, I can't go home because I'm late tonight. But tomorrow morning I'll try to go home and prepare breakfast for you."

Ken squeezed the paper and threw it away. "Veasy? Oh...!!" Ken immediately ran out and rode his bike.

Where's he going?

Ken suspects that it's all just Alyssa's wits. Even in her current mind, Alyssa was being together with another man. And if that's true, he could make it an excuse to take over the company and divorce it.

Everyone says Alyssa's a good woman. But this time Ken will prove that the woman is not as good as they think she is.

Ken drove fast using his motor. Even in a matter of minutes, the distance that should be taken 1.5 hours he can travel for only 30 minutes.

Ken got off his bike and met the security guard

The security guard, who knew Ken, immediately opened the door for Ken and let him in.

"Mr Ken wants to pick up Madam? It just so happens that the madam is still inside with Mr. Alvin." said the security guard.

Ken didn't say anything. He immediately entered after hearing the guards' words. "So you're having an affair with Alvin!!" inner Ken growled.

With his steps so wide, Ken could not wait to see his wife. But as she walks down the aisle of the company, she accidentally meets Alvin who just came out of Alyssa's room.

"Ken!!!" greet Alvin.

"I just wanted to call you to persuade Alyssa to come home. But it turns out you've come." exclaimed Alvin. He took Ken to the pantry and had tea together.

"Alyssa worked very hard. He wanted to keep Rain company at least before....

"Why do you always praise Alyssa? Do you like it?" Ask Ken to interrupt.

Alvin just smiled. He sipped his tea and said, "Take it that way."

"What do you mean, brother? Do you want to be the third person in our household?" ask Ken in a high tone.

"What kind of household do you mean, Ken? Don't you want to divorce Alyssa?"

"Where does Alvin know? Did Alyssa say it?" inner Ken

"Why did I ruin a messy household from the start? I just need to wait, Ken. Waiting for you to ruin your own relationship." Alvin grinned

Ken clenched his hands tightly. He did not expect that the person he trusted would have bad intentions for him.

No!! This can't be allowed. It seemed like he had to delay in divorcing Alyssa immediately.

Shit man!!! Why is he so plany like this? Wouldn't it be nice if Alvin liked Alyssa. He could make that an excuse to divorce Alyssa. But somehow he didn't want to.

"For a long time Alyssa tried to keep Rain company from falling into the hands of Mr. Raymond. We're trying to find something suspicious that could drag Mr. Raymond into the law. That's why we're overtime today." explained Alvin

"Uncle?" inner Ken. He had expected Raymond to have hidden intentions. He offers help to get rid of Alyssa and snatch her brother's company.

"So you went overtime because you wanted to get close to Alyssa?" ask Ken coldly

"Near Alyssa?" Alvin laughed so hard that he coughed. "Sorry." Alvin sipped his tea and put it back on the table. "You're wrong Ken, I'm overtime because I promised Rain to help develop and sustain this company."

"Rain is my best friend. He always helps me when I'm in trouble. For that I want to repay his kindness by helping him in the company." continued Alvin

Ken clenched his hands and gripped the collar of Alvin's shirt tightly. "helpful? Approaching Alyssa, what does it call helping? You even plan to take the man that Rain loves. What's that called return, huh?" shout Ken. He looked at Alvin's bitch for being so furious at the man.

"Luck up Ken!!" Alvin took off Ken's grip and tidied back his shirt. "I promise I will help Rain by keeping something valuable for her. Including Alyssa."

"If you hurt Alyssa, I'll take care of her. And all that I did for Rain." he said again.

Again Ken showed a face he did not like. He tried his hardest not to hit Alvin right then and there.

"Listen this is Alvin Mahendra!! I will never divorce Alyssa. So don't expect you to take it from me. Remember that!!" Ken left the pantry with a face that was difficult to decipher.

All he had to do now was make a calculation with Alyssa for already daring to get close to another man.

Alvin sat down to enjoy his tea. He stood near the window and stared at the night scene out there.

"Wouldn't let me take Alyssa from her?" alvin murmurs. But not long after, he laughed out loud until his tears came out.

"You saw Rain!!! Your sister is so funny when she's jealous. Ha. ha. ha... Holy jeez!! I can't stop laughing."

"You're right Rain. Ken likes Alyssa. Huhhhh.. Your sister is really stupid. If she likes Alyssa why would she waste it? Even he had the heart to make Alyssa cry." Alvin grumbled. He looked up at the night sky and again said, "But I'm serious Rain. If Ken takes Alyssa off, I'll take care of her."
