Chapter 2
Making sure everything was on his own was a completely new experience for him.
He did not like this first experience.
It's like a chick losing its mother. Especially when getting off the plane!
What if he did not meet with the employee who was assigned to pick him up?! Various terrifying shadows began to shadow his mind.
He calmed down for a moment.
At least, he had recorded the address of his company, if he did not meet the person in charge of picking him up, he would immediately take a taxi and look for the nearest hotel with the company that would fund his business.
He took a deep breath while calming himself again.
How relieved his heart was, when he saw a man carrying a board that read his name but he tried to refrain considering there were millions of people who had the same name as him.
Marco could not take his eyes off Linda.
Linda is much prettier than the photo she sent to complete her proposal but she is also a little disappointed that Linda also attached the photo with her husband as an attachment.
Perhaps the decision was very risky, given the funds that will be channeled into Linda's business but she knows Linda's ability after finding out the truth about Linda's background as a makeup artist.

Marco smiled confidently welcoming the arrival of Linda who began to approach him doubtfully.
Actually Linda was a little surprised, after noticing the man who picked her up because of her appearance was not like most people, especially if you imagine the man before her working as a driver?! What a very mismatched picture!
Anxiously Linda smiled at her smile.
“My name is Linda. What are you .. ?“
“I'm from investor company,“ sela Marco.
Linda smiled with relief at having found the person who picked her up.

“Halo Mr. Marco, my name is Linda,“ reply Linda welcome Marco's hand.

He is not comfortable talking about his personal problems with strangers.
Marco was really surprised to hear Linda's explanation.
Which woman is willing to sell her own wedding ring!
Perhaps, Linda's state was really in a troubling state. Marco was very sad to hear that.
"You will meet ..., Mr. Martinus and other shareholders.“
“Oh, okay. And if you may know what your position is in the company?“ ask Linda carefully.
“I ..?“
Marco thought for a moment.
“I'm personal assistant Mr. Martinus.“
“Oh, please hint!“ linda said quickly.

Linda followed Marco with a calm feeling.
It feels good that Marco can get a position like that. The man is brave and full of charisma. The delivery is also polite and very friendly. He must have worked hard to get to where he is now, Linda thought with a smile.
Linda was trying to find her dinner outside. He saw a tent shop near the hotel where he was staying, but how lucky he was! Marco invited him to dinner together and he quickly accepted the offer. An offer that cannot be wasted.
“The restaurant below is famous for its black pepper steak, do you want to try it?“

“I'll pick you up at 7pm, can you?“
“You don't have to pick me up. I'll be down in time.“

Arriving in Linda's room immediately contacted Daniel and told him about his new experience in a foreign city.
Daniel was relieved that Linda finally contacted him too! All day, he tried to contact his wife but there was no signal to connect with her!
When Linda finished her bath, she saw Rafael had contacted her six times without being lifted. Linda is happy that there are friends who care about her more than her husband.
“Hai, what's up?“ he said as soon as Rafael picked up his phone.
“I contacted you several times.“
“So I was taking a shower. What's up?“
“No, just wanted to make sure. By the way, which hotel are you staying at?“
Linda mentioned the name of the hotel where she stayed while applying lotion to her body.
“Try guessing!“ rafael said happily.
Linda thought for a while, reading from Rafael's slightly ignorant tone. And he became surprised!
“Oh, don't tell me you're here too?!“
“My arrival is not special to accompany you well, sorry only! Suddenly my business partner invited me to meet in this city,“ said Rafael while laughing.
“Oh, I feel relieved. Don't just because of me, you wasted your precious time!“
“How long have you been here?“
“I don't know yet. Once the meeting is over and there is nothing I take care of here anymore well, I will be home soon.“
“Alright, then get ready, tonight we have dinner outside!“ take Rafael with enthusiasm.
“Telate! I promised I'd have dinner out with Marco.“
“Marco?“
“He's my potential investor's personal assistant, after all I need to dig up a little information about my potential investor.“
“Diving at once drinking water?“
“You could say so,“ says Linda while chuckling.
“I have to get ready, Marco picked me up at seven. I'll call you back if you're not busy tonight, okay!?“
Linda felt a heavy sigh before Rafael hung up.
Linda really enjoyed her time with Marco because she was able to get what she wanted. Information about Mr Martinus!
He smiled again as he chewed his food.
Linda refuses when Marco asks her to relax at the bar, citing fatigue and wanting to prepare for tomorrow's meeting.
Even though Marco is being very friendly but he has to keep his distance to keep unwanted things from happening to him, after all he is a married woman!
Marco is disappointed when Linda refuses his invitation to relax and spend time at the bar but he understands and is amused to hear Linda's reasoning.
Want to prepare for his best performance tomorrow?
He was a little curious about how the best performance Linda promised. Because according to him, his appearance tonight is more than extraordinary! Simple yet awesome. Not only in terms of dress but he could see a strong sense of confidence emanated from the way Linda spoke and looked at her interlocutor. And he was very confident Linda could amaze the shareholders to drain fresh funds for him.
He felt very sure of that!
