Chapter 18

Despite her long friendship with Rafael, Linda cannot remember Rafael's phone number!

That's what made him feel guilty and he couldn't possibly ask for his number from Daniel.

He doesn't want Daniel to know, Marco sabotaged his phone. What's he gonna say? He waited for Rafael to come to his showroom but he did not come.

Marco could see, Linda was waiting for the arrival of her best friend. She smiled as she approached Linda confidently.

Linda turned her face away when she saw Marco approaching her without any guilt at all!

He pretended to be busy watching the handyman who was installing the wall paper.

“My wife! Still crashing yah?“

Marco pinched Linda's cheek with anxiety.

“What are you doing!? Want to be a spectacle of artisans!?“ Linda hit Marco's hand quickly.

“Your face is red! You shy, yeah?“

“Already, quickly say what you want!? If you have nothing to say, you better not bother me. I still have a lot of work.“

Soon Marco caught Linda's hand and held her.

“Meet me lunch, well?“

“This is it, it's only eleven! Besides I'm busy, can't.“

“Hey, come! I haven't eaten anything since this morning,“ Marco said as he courted Linda affectionately.

“What the hell are you doing!? Shame to know! Let go of my hand,“ Linda whispered as she glanced at her hatchlings who were trying to hide their amused smiles.

Linda tried to pull his hand but Marco flanked her continuously.

“Have accompanied me well, my wife who likes to sulk!“

Linda snorted until she finally relented.

“Don't be long because there's still a lot I have to work on.“

“Good, Mistress!“ marco said while slightly bowing.

“You are absolutely ...!“

Marco smiled as he walked along with Linda.

On their way out they cross paths with Widyaya!

Linda immediately pulled her hand out of Marco's grasp while Marco just smiled calmly greeting his father.

“You want to go out?“ widyaya asked looking happy, seeing the hue of happiness emanating from her son's face.

“I asked Linda to accompany me to lunch. Papa want to come?“

“And bother young couples like you? You guys just go. I just want to look around for a minute.“

“Then I will accompany you to the!“ linda said quickly trying to leave Marco.

Marco quickly grabbed Linda's waist until it twisted and went into his arms.

“What are you doing? In front of your Papa!? Let go of me!“ hiss Linda fast.

“Dah, Papa!“ marco said without letting go of his embrace from Linda, who was trying to get away from him.

Widyaya laughs at Marco's insolence. Then go in and look around the whole room now, most of it has changed as Linda described it to her.

He really did not believe his old showroom, unkempt and less promising, could turn out like this!?

He knew all the promises Linda said would really come true. He was sure, hearing Linda's words but now, he was more confident in Linda's abilities.

He was amazed how Linda could handle all this alone!

He also saw the artisans working diligently without wasting any time on chatting like he had usually seen all along.

Some excuse me for coming out to smoke outside!

He could not help but smile watching all this. Unimaginable, all the rude craftsmen could work diligently and have good manners. Smoking outside? Imagine that!?

Widyaya laughed and was convinced it was because of the rules Linda applied to them. But without Linda in their midst, how could they still obey all her orders?

After asking the average handyman who works it turns out Linda is a very friendly boss and willing to care about all their needs.

Linda will not hesitate to force them to rest before their time if they are exhausted.

But one thing Linda does not support is smoking.

After nearly a week of working under Linda's command, they were able to reduce their smoking habits without them knowing.

Widyaya was really amazed by the work that Linda applied. She believes Linda can definitely be the boss that all her employees love.

“Are you crazy! Why would you do that! I should have accompanied your father to show you the progress of showroom development instead of spending time with you!“

“So you mind!?“ asked Marco while glaring.

“I should be angry why are you more fierce than me!?“

“Well, if you want to go, just go there!“

Linda was at a loss for words in response to Marco's words which now seemed more fierce than her.

“So you kicked me out!?“

“You ‘kan who wants to go and fuss over small things!?“ marco snapped in annoyance.

Linda scowled while taking her eyes off Marco.

“Already, I'll just go!“

“Good, go! Who needs you to accompany me. Many women wish they could accompany me at all times! You really don't know how lucky you are.“

“What does that mean!? And why should I feel lucky to be with you?!“ Linda really did not understand Marco's words.

“I go!“

“You ..!“

“What? Didn't you tell me to leave?! Then I go first, eat a lot yah!“ linda said quickly leave before Marco changed his mind.
