Clara sneaks into her house, she accidentally comes home at midnight hoping everyone is asleep and unaware of her arrival

"Where have you been all this time Clara?"

hearing a voice, Clara stopped her steps and turned to look at her father who was standing staring at her

"eh..pa..pa...yet asleep?"

"That's not what you want to hear, where have you been for a few days Clara" asked Arnold in a high tone

"Anu.that's.I went on vacation with my friend pah"

"Don't lie Clara?"

"It's a reward I go on vacation if I don't believe just ask my friends"

Arnold just silently watched the child, just the way it was, he knew the boy was lying because according to reports from people he paid to follow Clara some days Clara spent the day happily from one bar to another

"i went to the room first huh pah, good night" said Clara as she kissed her papa's cheek and hurriedly entered the room avoiding the gaze of the eye probing her papa

"Clara's gone home?" ask Miss Arnold to her husband who just entered the room

"yes, he's already gone into the room.he said he went on vacation yesterday with his friends"

"Would Clara and Rey's betrothal speed up the reward? if you need not get engaged, just marry them"

"Yes papa's right, then let's go to bed late at night"

Arnold kissed his wife on the forehead and laid her body next to him, hoping nothing bad would get in the way of his plans this time
