Chapter 9

The episode begins with Kaylee's past.

Flashbacks....

A room seemed to be filled with painting tools and books.

A glass of wine perched on the table.

Next to the glass was a book.

And on the floor, near the book, the wine bottle fell so that its contents spilled and the red liquid pointed at a woman lying on her stomach covered in blood. In front of the woman, there was a person holding a knife.

Simultaneously, Kaylee returned home and was shocked to see her mother killed.

The killer, a woman! Their housemaids.

Kaylee screamed in horror.

Her night...

after that, a man appeared. He was surprised to see the door of his apartment open.

With a cautious attitude, the man came in and shouted to his wife but he was even more surprised to see her apartment was empty.

The man called his wife again but Agatha appeared.

"Who are you? why are you in my apartment?" ask the man.

"Aldwin Aloysius. You don't live here anymore. Now you live at Art Villa in Tigawasa" replied Agatha.

Agatha then showed the video footage, in which the Prosecutor's wife and children were engrossed in playing in their new home.

"Your wife seems to really like this house. Your son, Arlen, likes his larger space. Are you moving to a regional district because you failed to promote? You don't want to be head of the Central Jakarta Prosecutor's Office and then be Attorney General? It's possible, if you cooperate with us. You'll be assigned to a murder case tomorrow morning" Agatha said.

Agatha gave Attorney Aldwin the murder file for Mrs Dania, Kaylee's mother.

"Hide it from the public and indict it as soon as possible" Agatha ordered.

*Head Office of the Central Jakarta Prosecutor in exchange for covering up the murder case. A prosecutor gets a mansion in Tigawasa and a bright future. It would not be easy for anyone to resist that temptation.

After meeting with Attorney Aldwin, Agatha left immediately. He drove out his car while talking on the phone to someone with a face.

"📞It's done..."

"📞...Yep. Good night"

Connection interrupted.

Agatha then opened her car window and took out her hand, she felt a gust of night wind.

Back to kaylee.

After making a furore in front of the SM office, Kaylee got off the stolen car.

Galvin approached and immediately scolded Kaylee.

"What are you doing! Are you crazy!" galvin Bentak.

But Kaylee didn't care about Galvin's nagging and looked at Mr. Adiwijaya.

"You're okay, right? Ask for hundreds of millions. I'm rich. Oh yeah, I was drunk too. Can you take care of the attempted murder? I'll drive away. Say it was a hit-and-run. This lawyer will take care of this case for you" said Kaylee Pak Adiwijaya.

Kaylee got back in that car and left, making everyone gawk including Galvin.

Arriving at the Police Station...

Now Kaylee, Mr. Adiwijaya and Galvin are sitting at the police station.

Kaylee confessed, that she was drunk, she tried to kill people and ran away afterwards.

"He caught me when I tried to escape" Kaylee said, pointing at Galvin.

Kaylee looked at Mr. Adiwijaya.

"Your alcohol level is pretty high.  That's enough to hold your SIM. I've never seen someone determined to be a criminal." replied the astonished police.

Kaylee then asked Galvin for a fee to educate a child, including an education abroad.

Galvin was confused to answer.

"I have two children, and it's very expensive. One hundred million isn't enough to send them out of the country." replied the police officer in front of Kaylee.

Kaylee looked back at Mr. Adiwijaya with a serious face.

"pak adiwijaya, added another zero" said Kaylee.

"What's? A billion ?" said the police were shocked. The other two policemen also looked at Kaylee with the same reaction.

"That's all I can give you now. SM Group won't give you any more. Take the money, hire a law firm, and either fight them or start all over again. Never give up again to SM Group" said Kaylee staring adiwijaya sir with a serious face.

Kaylee then contacted Agatha.

"📞Head of Gold, I was driving drunk, attempted murder, and ran away from the scene. Send me a billion to make peace. Ah, there's a reporter outside. Should I tell them who I am?"

"📞I'm seriously considering that"

Before long, Mr. Adiwijaya's phone read, he said that he had sent an SMS banking report that 1 billion dollars had entered his account. Suddenly he was shocked.

" Your son, raise him well" said Kaylee to adiwijaya.

kaylee then stood up and walked around wearing her sunglasses and left, leaving people staring at her.

Galvin rushes after Kaylee out.

"Is that how you show your sincerity?" galvin asked after knowing the plan Kaylee had done.

"Yes. It's my style" replied kaylee.

"I understand, but you can help him in other ways" Galvin said.

Kaylee stopped walking and stared at Galvin flatly.

"in what way? Do you think I can spend a dime without Chief Gold knowing?" asked Kaylee who was staring at Galvin flatly.

"Why me?" galvin.

"Because you're not elite. Because of Chief Gold, Agatha doesn't care about third-rate lawyers like you" Kaylee replied.

Galvin laughed when he heard it.

"You're a lawyer, so, you've got enough brains. You seem determined and quite stubborn, and then I like your old-fashioned suit" continued Kaylee.

"When did you drink?" tanya Galvin switched the conversation.

"Driving while drunk. I don't want to fight Head Gold because of you, so, I wish you all the best. Good luck" Kaylee patted galvin on the shoulder, Kaylee left.

"What did he say? Driving while drunk.." murmured galvin.

Galvin's phone rings. A call from Agatha asking her to come.

Galvin went straight to Agatha's office.

Arriving at the office, Agatha asked permission for Galvin to speak freely, such as senior to junior (talk 4 points, that means😃)

Galvin.

"Miss Kaylee couldn't control her anger and spent a billion just like that. How do you feel about that?" his words to Galvin who was in front of him.

"I think it's an interesting way to solve a problem. You can't say it's 'throwing'." replied Galvin.

"Why not?"Agatha.

"Because Mr. Adiwijaya has a grudge against SM Group and can curse him during his. If this thing changes his mind, I think it's a good production" Galvin replied.

"How can you be sure the money will change his mind? If we do such a thing out of fear of such a person, SM Group will not survive" asked Agatha again.

"Isn't GOLD there because you care about people's opinions?" Galvin asked Agatha.

"of course. But we use tactics, unlike Miss Kaylee.Gold is not an exception when making the biggest profit for any of her expenses. We can't give people like Adiwijaya, it's wrong" Agatha said.
