Kaylee The Conglomerate Girl

Chapter 19

Galvin is back with Kaylee.

"I'll ask you one more time as your lawyer. Just tell me the truth, are you using marijuana or not?"Ask Galvin.

" You still don't believe it?"Kaylee.

"of course. I need to know the truth as your lawyer"Jawab Galvin

"Lawyer Galvin Anson, on the day I was arrested, there was a time when I didn't bring a bag" Kaylee said.

"When?" Ask Galvin.

"When we stop to buy flowers" Kaylee said.

Flashbacks....

Yes, at that time they had stopped by the flower shop, before Kaylee's mother's grave and Kaylee went down alone and died his bag in the car.

That's when Galvin put marijuana in Kaylee's bag.

End flashback...

Was it really Galvin?

That's just Kaylee's guess. But Galvin desperately denied Kaylee's allegations.

"Do you know what I learned during my life under GOLD's supervision? I don't know who my enemy is.  When I was in London, I even changed my waitresses every week and I forgot for a moment that you were no exception. To me, you're also a suspect" Kaylee said.

"But not me" Galvin argued.

"It's up to you whether you believe it or not. I never did drugs. That's my answer Prove my innocence, then I won't suspect you, so it'll be good for both of us" Kaylee said, staring deeply at Galvin.

****

Galvin returns home, but he does not go straight into the house and stays in the car thinking about Agatha's words.

'Is revealing the truth more important than following your boss' orders and your work?'

Then he remembered Kaylee's words.

'Prove my innocence. Then I won't suspect you, so it'll be good for both of us'.

Galvin got out of his car and went inside. Inside, he saw his father drinking with Gladys.

Gladys who saw Galvin coming immediately called Galvin and told him to join them.

"It's really hard to see your face today. Good luck" Gladys said pouring alcohol into Galvin's glass.

" Does alcohol taste good to you?"Ask Galvin.

"When else can we drink it?" Said Mr. Anson.

"It is" replied Mr. Anson.

"Aren't your ears itchy? We're talking about you" Gladys said.

"You'll only speak well of me" Galvin replied.

there was a sigh coming from Galvin's mouth and he gulped his alcohol.

Galvin then looked at his father.he then told the problems he faced to his father.

"Dad, he's a good guy..."

Galvin likens Kaylee to his boxing.

" .... I defended him but I can be fired for defending him. If you were me, which would you choose?"Galvin asked his father.

"Of course you have to defend the right! That's what someone has to do" Pan Anson said.

"I foolishly ask for the opinion of the sick" Galvin said.

Gladys laughed.

"Hey, I'm not sick! My arteries are clear, and I don't have diabetes" said Mr. Anson, who did not accept being told he was sick by his son.

"You have pity syndrome" Galvin replied.

"Failure, you feel sorry for people" Gladys chimed in Galvin's words and looked at Mr. Anson.

Mr. Anson then advised Galvin not to be greedy to catch two birds at once.

"An educated man should use his education for good" Anson continued.

Brakk..

"i don't agree with that, why can't you catch both birds. You can catch them if you have the skills! One throw, two birds hit. It's been trending lately. Find a way to help the person and don't get you fired. Then everything will be fine" Gladys said, advising Galvin.

Galvin drank again and began to think about Gladys words.

***

The morning...

Galvin jogs in the park and thinks of the words of Kaylee who pleaded not guilty.

Then Galvin remembered his mother crying and yelling at him that she had not killed anyone while he was sentenced to life for the murder of Kaylee's mother.

Afterwards, Galvin thought of Agatha's words that forbade her from freeing Kaylee.

Where will Galvin choose? His conscience? Or Agatha?
