"Sister, I'm afraid of ya," said Arumi welcome twist the end of the shirt he was wearing, his heart shivering in fear.
Shame gripped Arumi, aware of how dirty she was. A woman who has lost her crown due to being forcibly snatched.
"There I am, don't be afraid." Max holds Arumi's hand.
Like magic that hypnotizes him, Arumi nods and complies as Max guides him to a motorbike that will take them to Arumi's school.
Wearing a mask that partially covered her face, Arumi came to school to take care of the school move. Although it feels reluctant for Arumi for the beautiful girl to continue her education, because of embarrassment and economic problems, but Max who never gave up on persuading make Arumi melt down.
Sunlight that still feels warm to accompany their journey, two lovebirds who are not lovers were riding motorcycles. Drove in the crowded streets of Surabaya in the morning, Max deliberately set off rather early in the morning.
The two are silent and drifting in each other's minds, if Arumi is feeling nervous and scared. Unlike Max who felt his heart pause, there was something strange that Max felt when he was near Arumi. A feeling he had never felt before, despite being close to another girl.
Max even deliberately slowed down the speed of his motorcycle, in order to spend more time together with Arumi. After a long journey they finally arrived at the place where Arumi demanded knowledge.
"It's not there." Arumi patted Max's shoulder slowly as they were about to reach the front of the school building.
Max nodded, inserting a motorbike in the school parking lot. After Max goes down, he helps Arumi down and opens the helmet the girl is wearing.
"Thank you, sister," said Arumi blushed, getting a sweet treatment from Max.
Max just smiled, he tidied Arumi's hair a little messy because he was wearing a helmet. Arumi's face turned red, as Max's index back touched her face.
Max stared fixedly at Arumi's face that blushed because of her. Feeling anxious, he pinches Arumi's cheeks which he thinks are more thin than the first time he met.
"Come on."
Max clings to Arumi's hand, inviting her into the multi-storey building that is their goal. Arumi said that even though she was afraid, she even deliberately wore a mask so that no one would recognize her.
Although no one at the school knew about the fateful incident that befell him. Arumi feels uncomfortable meeting other people at this time, she is afraid of how people see her. It was as if they all knew Arumi's disgrace, and looked at her with disdain, when it was all just in Arumi's mind.
Arriving in the principal's room, Max tries to explain the reason why Arumi moved school without revealing the real cause.
"Actually it's a pity that if you move now, it will soon be willing to take the exam" said the hooded woman, who is none other than the headmaster of Arumi.
"I understand Mom, but as I said. I hope you can understand" Max politely responded.
The woman turned her head, looking at Arumi who had lowered her head earlier, busy playing her fingers. Although heavy with a heavy heart, the headmaster released Arumi, because Arumi was one of the outstanding students.
"Yes, sister" replied Arumi briefly.
The girl still looks scared, she walks while looking at her own toes, once in a while Arumi looks around making sure no one notices them. Aware of Arumi's condition, Max reunited their hands.
Arumi was stunned, she turned to Max who was smiling at her.
"There I am" said Max. Arumi slightly raised her bowed face, a smile from Max like the sunshine that warmed her heart.
Arumi smiled, they continued their steps hand in hand. Arumi no longer lowered her head, there was Max there, there was him who would always support and protect Arumi. For the girl Max is not just a man without energy, the man is like a lantern that will always illuminate Arumi from the darkness.
Arumi tightened the link of their hands, Max turned to throw a sweet smile for Arumi. If you can be honest, Max feels his heart is very unhealthy. Especially after seeing Arumi's smile, there was a sense of warmth that began to run throughout her body.
"So your kayak pet apparently, you lon###. It's chic!" Wito spat, throwing away the cigarette that was still half he sucked.
Wito sneered cunningly, the man still sitting on the sidewalk across the street from Arumi's school. His scouts all this time came to fruition, he saw Arumi flashing out of the parking lot, he could clearly see Arumi's face before he covered the helmet glass he was wearing. He wears a mask and a helmet in pitch black, after Arumi and the young man pass by, Wito starts racing motorcycles to follow the two.
"Fucking per*k! Just look at what I'm going to do to you," exasperated Wito, his black hand gripped the steering wheel of the motorcycle he was riding.
Seeing Arumi living well, even wearing nice clothes made Wito angry. His stepson can live well enough, while he must accept bogem and threats from Karto's men.
Wito continues to follow the motorcycle that Max and Arumi ride. He deliberately kept his distance from the lovebirds, so that they did not suspect.
"What do you want to eat?" Max asked, slightly raising his voice as they both wore helmets.
"As for Big Brother, yes," replied Arumi briefly.
Getting a resigned answer from Arumi, Max decides to stop his motorcycle at the farmhouse. Wito stopped too, a bit away from them.
Michi leaned her body on the sofa in the white room, as Max requested she accompany Marni this morning. Marni had just finished receiving injections of drugs from the doctor, in fact the doctor had suggested that Marni be taken home and treated at home. Not the hospital does not want to treat the elderly, but Marni's hope to recover is only a few percent according to them.
The vulnerable body condition decreases during the postoperative recovery period, although the operation was successful. However, the patient's condition during the recovery period is also important, and Marni shows no signs of a better direction.
However, Max refuses the doctor's advice to bring Marni home. He had promised Arumi to help him take care of Grandma, whatever the outcome. At least he's been trying, and Max feels the hospital is safer than Marni's now. Here there are sisters and security guards who protect Marni and Bayu as well as Arumi from her stepfather.
Moreover, Marni is admitted to a VIP room that not everyone has access to, except to show the identification marks given by the hospital to the family waiting for the patient.
