"What?! Do you and Mentari want to go abroad? Why sudden? Didn't you say you'd take your wife to papa's house first?" handoko's thunderous voice from the other end made Iwan slightly move the flat object in his hand away from the ear. He already knew that the Papa would definitely give a reason for the change of his plan.
"Pa, but that's Dance's wish. He said he would come to Papa's place after we got home from our honeymoon. Doesn't Papa want us to have children soon? We'll give it to you when we get home." Iwan. There was no sound from the other end for a few seconds.
"Alright, it's okay if you really want to go on a honeymoon first. But, let papa talk to your son-in-law now." Already Iwan guessed the papa would definitely ask to talk to Mentari. Luckily Iwan had it all planned out.
"Okay, Papa can talk to Dance herself. But, papa don't be mad at him huh. I'm afraid that if papa gets angry with him or asks him all sorts he'll just be sad."
"Yes-yes, quickly give the phone to my daughter-in-law!" call Handoko.
Iwan gave the flat object in his hand to the woman who was currently sitting on his lap.
"Assalammualaikum, Dad. It's Dance. Mas Iwan said Papa wants to talk to Tari ya." The woman greeted me gently.
"Son, why did you change your schedule? Didn't you promise to go to papa's place first?" ask Handoko. He was curious about the reason that made his son-in-law suddenly change the schedule.
The woman who was sitting on Iwan's lap saw the paper Iwan thrust.
"Pa, I happen to have a friend of mine who also lives abroad married and I was invited there. Instead of me going back and forth to the house papa used to continue to attend the wedding of my friend then went on honeymoon, would not it be more efficient if Mas Iwan and Iwan attended the event all honeymoon? So, when I and Mas Iwan come home later who knows we can give happy news to papa." The woman read the writing on the paper.
"Alright if that's what you want. How long are you going on your honeymoon?" ask Handoko again.
"E. 2-3 months, Pa. It's okay, right?" answer the woman who claimed to be the Mentari.
Breathing sounds from the end. "It's okay. Papa will transfer the money to your husband's account soon. Use the money to stock up on your honeymoon" said Handoko.
"Thank you, Pa. I'm sorry that I and Mas Iwan haven't been able to visit Papa." Again the woman said in a tone made as gentle as possible.
"Hm. Don't forget to keep me informed when you're abroad!" Handoko reminded her son-in-law.
"Definitely, Pa. Yes, it was, Pa. I want to help Mas Iwan get ready first," said the woman.
"What's up, Pa?"
"Iwan didn't do anything to you, did he?" Handoko wants to make sure her son doesn't do anything that hurts Mentari.
The woman glanced at Iwan. "No, Pa. Mas Iwan is good, he is very good even," he replied.
"Really?" handoko returns to make sure.
"Really, Pa."
"Yes, you have fun. Papa's happy, at least even if you're married because of an arranged marriage, you can finally accept each other." Handoko was already worried that Mentari could not accept his son.
"Yes, Pa. I closed yes. Assalammualaikum."
"Wait!" Once again Handoko interrupts when the fake Mentari wants to hang up the phone.
"What's up, Pa?"
"Your voice is different. The last time you heard your voice wasn't like this."
Deg. Iwan and Mentari fake looking at each other. Both heartbeats beat faster than usual.
"Can we video call!"
Handoko's request increasingly makes Iwan and Mentari fake anxious.
"Papa switch to video call now ya."
And sure enough the call had already changed to a video call.
