Chapter 67

"Mas" said Kaira who repeatedly blinked her eyes. She was astonished by her husband acting so unusual. Regan was startled with a slightly rough movement. Kaira looked to her right and left, lucky that no one noticed them.

Regan who came with an anxious heart made inflamed when he saw the wife turned out to get the help of another man. Regan who was so worried because Kaira was shopping alone, his heart was made to shiver when he saw his wife turned out to be accompanying him. Regan's patience is being tested.

"Get in my car!" he said with a flat look, then Regan stepped towards his car and opened the door for his wife.

The confused Kaira would not obey her husband. She is sure something is wrong with her husband but, she is already saying goodbye and asks Auntie to look after Andra. There was nothing wrong with Kaira however, why did her husband look so angry?

"Mas but mo_"

"Leave and come in!" tell Regan with a sharp look. Kaira nodded her head and slowly got into the car. He could see Regan running and entering by sitting on the steering wheel. Slowly Kaira turned her head and noticed but, the husband just kept silent and focused on looking at the streets under the twilight sky.

There was no talk, even Kaira was reluctant to comment. Her husband carried the car at a moderate speed without venting emotions by stepping on the brakes too deep. Regan is still sane enough to keep his wife safe. Regan soon helps Kaira to get out of the car. Afterwards the man entered the house without waiting.

"He why?"

Kaira shook her head looking at Regan who had already stepped towards the stairs. Kaira chooses to go to the kitchen and ask Auntie before entering the room following her husband.

"Bi, where's Andra?" kaira asked after she reached the kitchen and saw Auntie who was busy cooking for dinner.

Aunty turned her head and immediately turned down the stove and then stepped closer to Kaira.

"Den Andra sleeps Mom, after bathing, eating continues to sleepy," explained Bibi then take water for Kaira.

"So you've been able to go home Bi? My husband is not asking the same Aunt?" Kaira deliberately digs up the information first in order to deduce what reason makes her husband look angry.

"Father came home directly from Mother Kaira, kept Aunt answered according to Mother's message earlier. I look panicked and worried Mom. Then you go straight away again but Bibi does not know where you are. Is it following Mom?"

"Yes Bi, you followed me to the supermarket. Hmm... Yes Bi, I want to go to the room first. Later please if my car comes, the shopping is done, Bi! After Kalandra's birthday, maybe there'll be a small Thanksgiving." Kaira immediately drank the water that Bibi had provided and moved from her seat.

"Okay Ma'am," Aunt replied with a slight nod of her head and resumed her cooking.

Kaira stepped into the room, slowly opening the door and greeted with a view of her husband's chest field that had just come out of the bathroom. Kaira only glanced at a glance then immediately went into the bathroom to take turns cleaning herself.

After Magrib, Kaira now chooses to play with Kalandra. She was confused to start a conversation with her husband. More give time to Regan and she who also keeps thinking with what mistakes have made her husband suddenly silent.

Kaira covered her mouth with both hands. Suddenly Kaira was reminded of something that made her immediately turn to look for her husband's whereabouts.

Kaira immediately holds Kalandra to look for Regan outside the room. Kaira glanced downstairs, but she could not find her husband there. Then, Kaira heads to her husband's office and it's true that Regan is in there.

Kaira walked in slowly, she saw her husband was busy in front of the laptop. Kaira decides to go over and sit across from Regan's desk.

"Mas" call Kaira. Regan averted her gaze, only briefly and refocused herself staring at the screen.

"Mas I'm sorry," continued Kaira with a disappointed heart for feeling neglected.

"For what?" ask Regan briefly.

Kaira sighed heavily, her husband if it was sulking made her dizzy. His cold attitude made Kaira unable to bear it. Though he deliberately carried Kalandra to make Regan Iba a little. However, it does not fit reality. Regan just seemed to not care and chose to be busy with her work.

"Mas see Mr Dito there?" ask Kaira carefully.

"Hmmm..." Not many words to answer, Regan just cleared her throat and it made Kaira's face turn sour.

Kaira felt lazy to explain after seeing Regan's response that upset her. However, if not explained, there will be misunderstandings and Kaira does not want this problem to drag on without a solution.

"We met by accident. We also just talked and exchanged news. It just so happened that he was at a show to come to Jakarta. Then help me carry the groceries for too much and feel sorry to see my condition which_"

"Other times there is no need to feel capable when your condition will actually invite the pity and negative thoughts of others. You have a husband, you can wait if you want to leave. His permission was not to shop that much but instead shop a lot and attract the attention of other men."

"Mas," Kaira's protest did not accept.

"Whoever sees you will think alike. Where's husband? never mind letting his wife go alone with a lot of groceries." Regan makes Kaira suddenly feel guilty but there is a bit of her hardened heart and does not accept Regan's anger.

"But I have permission Mas, I also can not wait for you in between your busyness," protested Kaira.

"No excuses, how did I ever say no? Perhaps your intention wants understanding, but you may forget that I can never refuse anything you want. I'd rather leave my job than let you have trouble" Regan said. The man immediately moved from his seat. He steps up to Kaira only to take over Kalandra and steps out.

"Congratulations and then dinner! Then take a break!" tell Regan before you really get out of the room.

Kaira sneered at her temple, she had not expected that it would make Regan disappointed and so angry. Maybe because of jealousy. However, Regan's anger makes Kaira die in style.
