Chapter 04's

"Where did the boy go this afternoon?"

Dave was pacing back and forth in panic because from morning to afternoon Joana had not yet returned to the villa.

Dave takes his coat and this guy goes to look for Joana.

"Trouble me!" grunt Dave as he sauntered away leaving the villa.

It's been almost half an hour since Dave's search for Joana, but this man hasn't found where the hired wife is.

The weather was getting colder, Dave began to worry because the clothes in Joana was very thin.

From end to end with his broad steps Dave continued to walk in search of Joana. Quite far away from the villa, in the end Dave saw a similar stature to Joana.

Dave squinted his eyes briefly to see if the woman sitting hugging his legs was his wife.

"Joe.....!!" Call Dave when this guy approaches.

"Please" said Joana Lirih then this girl collapsed unconscious.

The panicked Dave took off his coat and snuck it at Joana. Rushing this man carried Joana, taking her away from there.

Long story short, now Joana and Dave have arrived at the villa. Dave wrapped Joana's body in a thick blanket and ordered someone by phone to deliver warm food and tea.

For a while Dave waited for Joana to wake up, before how long this girl began to open her eyes as her body temperature gradually warmed.

"Drink warm tea first," said Dave while offering a glass of warm tea.

Joana did not think long anymore, she immediately gulped down the warm.

"Thank you" said Joana who still looked pale.

"Basic fool!" Dave's hops started to get emotional. "Just trouble me, you might disappear all day. Where are you going huh? If you leave, you should buy some thick clothes first!"

Joana who was still limp was instantly strong back when Dave nagged her.

"You are stupid!" Sahut Joana growled. "It's a country of people, I don't know where I should buy thick clothes and food. Anyway, the money you gave us was taken by thugs!"

"You,..can-can-can!" Dave held back.

"If you don't want to take care of me in this guy's country, you better get me back. It's up to you to take your own vacation until you're old, which is important I want to go home now!"

"Do you think it's that easy?"

"Dave,....!" Joana's two eyes glazed over. "You see this?" Appoint Joana at the temples of her eyes. "For the sake of keeping the money to eat me in beat up thugs. I haven't eaten since yesterday, do you care about me? I'm your paid girl, but at least treat me like a human!"

This girl was crying in the bathroom, even her crying was loud until heard by Dave. Dave could only sit in silence feeling guilty for already treating Joana like this.

half an hour later Joana came out of the bathroom with puffy eyes. Dave looked at his wife, for some reason his heart was suddenly in a dilemma.

"I'm sorry" said Dave. This is history, since when was a stubborn man like Dave apologizing to someone else.

Joana just kept quiet did not respond, this girl prefers to sit on the sofa holding a hungry stomach.

"Oh, I've been preparing food for you since. But the food is cold. I'll get people to warm it up." Dave started looking for his phone.

"No need!" Joana Exclamations. "I'm really hungry, don't have to be warmed up!"

Joana immediately devoured the cold food. Dave was again stunned to notice Joana eating voraciously.

"But the food was cold" said Dave who felt bad.

"I used to eat cold food and even leftovers yesterday I can still eat!" Joana Sahut.

"Stop eating, I'll change your food!"

Dave who was intending to take the food that Joana was eating suddenly fell to the floor scattered.

Joana who was still chewing food earlier could only stare at her falling food with an expression that could not be guessed.

Her lips smiled but her tears fell down. It was hard to swallow the last food he put in his mouth.

Dave was speechless, this man had already shattered Joana's mood which had just improved earlier.

Joana rubbed her tears rough, this girl then pulled the blanket over her body by facing the back of the sofa.

"Joa, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt your food. But, the food is cold and I want to replace the warm food for you so that your stomach doesn't hurt!"

"Sleep, it's night!" Joana said softly.

Dave is getting confused, he is a cold and indifferent man, now he does not know how to seduce this girl who is being cold to him.

"Nobody cares about me" said Joana sobbing. "Papa threw me out, my mother died giving birth to me. Am I the son of a fucking carrier?"

Dave touched his heart when he heard Joana's words. He just found out if this rental wife is a girl who is not lucky in everything.

"I accepted your offer, you promised me a lot of money. I think it's enough for me to open a small business after our contract expires. It's okay, you're not wrong and you don't have to apologize, I should be able to be independent without having to bother you. I'm sorry I made you so hard!"

"I didn't mean to offend you, I'm really sorry" Dave said. "Sleep in bed, not there. The air was so cold that even the room warmers were useless!"

"I'm used to sleeping in the cold. So don't worry about me!" joana Sahut.

"I'm sorry" Dave said again but Joana did not respond.

Dave can't sleep, he really feels guilty for Joana. Dave waited for Joana to fall asleep and then he moved Joana to the bed. Dave begins to think of ways to make Joana cheerful again as usual, even this guy sleeps late at night just to think about his plans tomorrow morning.
