Chapter 6 ~ the truth revealed.

We had both walked for quite a long time until we finally reached the ice cave border with the rock cave but when we were about to leave the ice cave place, we could not go any further. it was as if there was an invisible wall blocking us from getting out of this ice cave place.

I made sure of it myself by touching it connecting my right hand, it was true that in front of me was an invisible wall.

"What the fuck?" I said then I asked Mayumi. "Do you know anything?"

"Yes, I've been here a few times but it's always been that this invisible wall gets in my way. I don't know why either" Mayumi replied.

"Have you ever tried to destroy it?" My toot.

"Yes, I've done it a few times but it never worked out at all. The power of this invisible wall is just like your strong protector, maybe the power of this invisible wall is stronger" Mayumi replied.

"Yes! Then I'll try to destroy this fucking invisible wall!" I pulled my right hand back and hit it very hard. For a moment the invisible wall began to look cracked in some parts until it was finally destroyed. I tried to step up, sure enough the invisible wall was gone.

"Come on!" I said.

"Y-yes" Mayumi followed me.

"Unbelievably strong, I've tried it many times but it always fails. But Arata very easily destroyed it just one try" Mayumi murmured inwardly. As Mayumi becomes more and more admiring of Arata, she is firmly convinced that her destiny is near.

As we were walking to find the exit suddenly appeared a giant brown lizard. The giant lizard was really big with a height of about 15 meters, thick muscular legs, and was covered with sharp-looking blackish-brown scales.

"Mayumi, show me your strength by getting rid of this giant lizard" I told Mayumi so because I was curious what strength Mayumi had so that she could survive in this ice cave for a very long time.

"All right" said Mayumi. He walked slowly closer to the lizard then raised his right hand to chest level and opened it.

The lizard swung one of its front legs towards Mayumi but when it almost hit him. Mayumi closed her eyes and said "Freeze" as soon as the lizard and its surroundings turned into beautiful blue ice right before hitting Mayumi. This proves that the ice magic that Mayumi has is very powerful, even if I use the same ice magic as Mayumi, I myself am not sure if I can freeze it even if only 1 of the scales.

Mayumi collapsed backwards but I swiftly caught her and said "are you okay?"

"Y-yes, I'm just hungry. I don't know how long I haven't eaten, maybe it's been a few years" Mayumi fainted.

"Great also you, can not eat a few years. I was dying for a few days and almost starving to death" Arata said .

A few hours later.

Finally Mayumi realized, Mayumi slowly woke up, she wondered why suddenly there was a blanket she was wearing.

"Wake up, let's eat!" I said beside him that was burning meat.

"Average!" Call Mayumi.

"What?" I answered casually.

"What animal skin is this? where did you get it?" Ask Mayumi.

"From the lizard you defeated earlier, I thought his skin was thick enough to be a blanket so I picked it up to warm your body. Take it easy, don't worry. I washed it cleanly using my magic" I gave the meat to her in my right hand and said "Here Eat!" Mayumi was still sober and silent until I finally realized something. "Oh so yeah, all right" I took out a little bit of meat I held and then fed it "Aaa!" Finally Mayumi opened her mouth and ate it, her face turned red and she looked away from me and said "thank you, this meat is delicious too"

I spontaneously said what was on my mind when I saw the shy Mayumi cat. "It's so pretty!" I regained my senses and said "ah, no. That's not what I mean. this!" I said, giving the meat I was holding. Mayumi accepted it and looked at the meat for a moment. Mayumi was thinking of doing the same to me.

"It's my turn" Mayumi hugged and pushed Arata to the ground. Mayumi slowly got up and sat down in Arata's body, she took out a little bit of meat held in her left hand and then fed Arata with her right hand and said "Aaa!" With a sweet smile. Arata also ate it with shy cats as well.

"Now we're even" he said, still smiling sweetly.

Arata's red face blushed until Arata averted his gaze and said

"Y-yeah, can't you get out of my body?"

Mayumi then moved away from Arata's body slowly and sat down near Arata.

"Ne!" Call Mayumi.

Arata still lay back and answered "What?"

"Promise?"

"Yes, promise. You promised me you wouldn't leave me. It may be because of my perfect form. I want you to promise me that you won't leave me and carry me with you wherever you go"

A promise? Since when did I say that? I don't remember ever saying that. For now, I might answer yes.

"Yes" I replied.

Mayumi also tells the truth of her who is suddenly present in her memory. Arata was surprised, Arata sat down and asked again to confirm the truth.

"That's right? You're not lying, are you?"

"that's the truth, Arata" Mayumi said.

"Yes, you will continue to fight with me" said Arata who tried to convince Mayumi.

Mayumi looked happy and said "Thank you, sorry for lying to you, Arata" smiling and hugging me. I was hesitant at first to hug Mayumi back but I ended up hugging Mayumi as well.

"Yes, I don't mind it" Arata said casually.

"Surely so, every meeting there will always be a farewell" I murmured in my heart.

Mayumi slowly turned into beautiful ice particles, fading away and disappearing.

"Thank you for accompanying my life in this lonely cave, albeit for a while but it was fun" my last words to her.

I think Mayumi is the normal pretty girl I've been craving since the previous world. I thought my meeting with him was fate to be a couple or just a friend but it turns out that our relationship is only limited yes, too bad. This incident is almost like when I was in the previous world. Falling in love at first sight, wanting to know more, going out, and getting married. But reality is not as beautiful as expectations.The first 2 girls I met in a new place and environment turned out to just stop by for a while and leave. It's really a lot of fun but these Monkeys are very numerous, probably numbering around thousands initially. In fact I had already fought the monkey for several hours using my new katana but there was no sign that they would soon run out. My body also had some injuries due to this monkey attack, I couldn't avoid them all because of their sheer number.

I rubbed the blood on my face and said with annoyance. "Curtain! Fucking monkey!" I tried to stand up but I fell down again and fell on my stomach. My head was so dizzy, I realized that my current state was due to me using ancient magic when my energy was thinning or arguably when I was exhausted.

Arata is unaware that his current Aura is leaking everywhere because his Novra (magic energy) powers stay a little to hold it automatically in Arata's subconscious, Arata's aura was overflowing and it looked like an enormous fire like burning a building. This incredibly strong Arata aura was felt up to 4 km away. even to make 1 city panic to do very tight guard on various sides. Arata is not aware of it, he still does something he has to do.
