Chapter 13.1 ~ My first Quest part 2

A few moments later. The market bag the girl was holding was already full, she stood up.

"Is it done?"

"Not yet, there is 1 more plant that I have to take. Get ready, brother, this place is his favorite"

Arata immediately understood that what he meant by his nest was a place that was often passed by the rumored giant lizard Monster.

"All right" replied Arata.

"Brother said lizard? Is it possible that the lizard in question is still one type with the lizard at that time? If true, this will definitely trouble me a little" I said inwardly.

Arata and Iona headed to the place in question.

iona immediately trembled when he just saw the giant lizard, he immediately hid behind me.

"Gruuuuoooooaayahh!!" The roar of the giant lizard was right in front of Arata's face, but Arata still tried to calm down. The giant lizard was about to leave but suddenly iona shouted. "Sister, be careful" the lizard instantly noticed it and attacked Arata using its sharp hooves. Arata instantly pulled the mock katana from the dimensional storage to fend off his attacks. The giant lizard attacked Arata with a row but Arata continued to try to resist his attack and suddenly the giant lizard's tail attacked Arata from the side so that Arata bounced a few meters because the attack was too sudden, moreover, Arata only focused on one side.

Arata woke up slowly, Arata only had minor injuries. The giant lizard drove towards Arata while raining down on Arata with fireballs ejected from his mouth.

"May you too, fucking lizard!" Arata said with annoyance. Arata dodged a fireball and rained down on it, without anyone hitting Arata. When it was close enough, Arata jumped, the giant lizard attacked Arata using its tail again but before the tail hit Arata, Arata said "First move, lightning flash" instantly he darted very fast like a flash of lightning and cut off his tail. The tail of the giant lizard was cut off and fell on the ground and came out a rain of blood from its tail that was cut off. The giant lizard was getting angry but when the new araya landed on the ground elegantly, he said again "second move, the flash of thunder flipped upside down" when Arata darted very quickly towards the neck of the giant lizard and cut it, Arata cut it very easily, as easy as cutting a carrot using a knife. Arata landed on the ground accompanied by the fall of the head of the giant lizard which caused a rumbling sound.

iona came towards Arata and hugged him and said while crying "I'm so worried about you, brother. I thought you'd die like everyone else. Thank you for beating him, without getting hurt. It turns out you're really strong just like you said."

"And I told you, take it easy and leave it to me"

iona called Arata and asked about what Arata had done so that he could kill the giant lizard easily, he looked very curious about it.

He felt embarrassed as he scratched his head and said "Hehehe, I forgot. Then, I take it first huh" then iona took her market bag that was left in its place while watching earlier.

Arata just thought that in the body of animals or monsters he had watched before there was something valuable like magic stones or others, before he did not think about it. The curious Arata finally tried to find it by dissecting it using a katana, it turns out that right in the heart there is a burning crystal, maybe it is a magic stone that can be sold. Arata took it and looked at it for a while.

"What'sthis? Magic stones? Save ah who knows this is valuable" Arata said inwardly then he inserted the magic stone into his dimension storage.

iona's already taken her market bag and now she's behind Arata.

"Sister, the villagers will be very happy to hear this news"

"Better not to tell them"

"Why?"

"Is that right?" Ask him innocently.

The iona house. A woman in her 40s who was lying limp. His condition is pretty bad. The little girl gave the green liquid inside the bamboo glass container. The liquid was a medicine he made himself from the ingredients he had been looking for with Arata earlier. The woman responds weakly and drinks it and is helped by iona. Shortly after drinking it, the woman fell asleep again.

"Mother, rest in peace. You'll be cured soon." Iona said sadly while enveloping her mother.

The two of them were already outside the house.iona bowed towards Arata and said "Thank you for accompanying me." Then he stood up again and said while looking down "thanks to brother, my mother will now be cured soon. Just pray, brother"

"Yes, of course." Then Arata handed the quest paper to be signed by the little girl.iona was astonished then she asked "what is this? Sis"

"It's ad—" before Arata spoke, Iona suddenly remembered him. He immediately understood and gave a board that read "Quest resolved"

Arata was astonished, this was nothing like the signed word expectations that Arata had heard before.

"What's this?"

"That's it, the receptionist's desk keeper gave me this. He said later if the quest works out as I wish, just give this board to the adventurer"

"Oh yes" said Arata and received the board.

Arata immediately left her.

Is Arata going to have any more problems on his way home?
