(IGT) CHAPTER 66

Now that day has arrived, a day that is very much awaited by the family of Richard and Eyang Neti, the engagement day of Richard and Alexa. The day that will define their relationship in the future, a very beautiful and loving day. 

The servants passed Lalang doing their respective tasks, some decorate the mansion, some serve food and some also arrange the room. Everything works with happiness. A beautiful smile flashed on their lips.

"Hopefully today will be a beautiful day for non-Axa" said one waiter who was serving food.

"Yes, may they mate right up to the guarantee," said another waiter who was preparing a drink. 

While Eyeang Netty is busy welcoming guests who began to arrive, they are close relatives and also clients and business partners of Eyeang Netty. 

On this day, in addition to Alexa and Richard's engagement day, Eyeang Netty also wants to introduce Alexa to clients and business partners that her grandson will replace his position in the company called BEAUTY GLOW.

Except for the two people who were not invited by Eyeang Netty, that person was Pak Hendra and Bu Lusi. Eyang Neti deliberately did not invite them because he did not want chaos to happen which could have been done by his daughter, Bu Lusi.

A luxury car stopped at the Mansion yard, some people got off the car they were Robert, Liliana, Rima's grandmother and Ricardo Antonio. 

They were all immediately greeted with great fanfare by the Eyang Netty family, unceasingly smiling Ricard enjoyed the splendid atmosphere.

The atmosphere is really lively and full of happiness and togetherness. Ricard occasionally looked towards the main door as if he was waiting for someone to come on his show.

"Hopefully he didn't forget today I invited him to attend my engagement event, "Ricard muttered softly almost inaudibly. 

Ricard glanced at his watch, time had shown at half-eight in the morning. However, the person he was waiting for had not come yet. 

While Alexa is being decorated as beautifully as possible by a decorator hired by Eyang Neti, a word is never said from Alexa's lips even though the decorator is often chattering.

"Amboy, it's so pretty that I'm pangling!" The decorator was admiring the beauty of Alexa.

No wonder the decorator admires Alexa, because her beauty is indeed extraordinary. Although repeatedly praised by the decorator Alexa remained unmoved, her mind floated out of nowhere. 

All that did not escape the attention of Mbok Mirah who always watched Alexa since earlier, Mbok Mirah understands what is felt by Alexa because he was always with Alexa since infancy. Mbok Mirah considers Alexa as his own foster child. 

Seeing Alexa who was just silent at last Mbok Mirah approached him, he sat next to Alexa staring at the beautiful face of a young woman beside him.

"What a beauty you Alexa, your beauty reminds me of your mother, Bu Riyanti when she was young at that time she was pregnant with you." Mbok Mirah recalls the first time he met Bu Riyanti.

"Mmd!" Call Alexa while looking at the old woman's face.

"What do you think of Mbok, if we are betrothed to someone we never loved while we only consider him a friend?" alexa asked her heart. 

Hearing a question from Alexa made Mbok Mirah surprised, Mbok Mirah replied to look at Alexa's face trying to find out what exactly happened.

Alexa was silent, anxiety began to hit her heart, she was confused to answer the question Mbok Mirah, while her feelings were not at all happy with her engagement which will soon be held. 

Alexa actually wanted to answer but he paused, because at that time a decorator was still there dressing himself. 

Seeing Alexa who was silent without answering made Mbok Mirah take the conclusion that Alexa did not want the engagement to happen. 

Then Mbok Mirah got up from his seat leaving Alexa who was being decorated.Mbok Mirah walked down the stairs intending to look for Eyang Netty, among the crowd of guests. Sure enough, at that time, Eyeang Netty was joking with her invited guests. 

"Sorry madam, I want to talk for a while" whispered Mbok Mirah as he reached near Eyang Netty. 

"Yes, what's wrong?" eyang Netty asked in a whisper as well. 

"I wait over there Madam," Mbok Mirah pointed at one corner of the mansion that looked lonely because it was blocked by curtains. Mbok Mirah feels bad if you have to say among the crowd of guests. 

"All right," said Eyang Netty. Then back to joking with his guests. 

"Please taste the food!" eyang Netty exclaimed to his guests. 

"I live first yes," continued Eyang Netty then went to meet Mbok Mirah who had been waiting for him at the corner of the Mansion. 

"What's wrong?" Ask Eyang Netty when he has been in front of Mbok Mirah. He looked at the old woman with question marks. 

"Madam, I suggest it's better that this engagement be annulled" said Mbok Mirah ventured. 

Mbok Mirah is determined to face all the possibilities that will happen for the good of Alexa. 

"Don't talk too much!" sergeant Eyang Netty stared intently at Mbok Mirah. 

"This engagement will continue as it should, because I believe this is the best decision for my granddaughter." continued Eyang Netty again. 

"But Madam, Alexa doesn't love Mr. Ricard at all. So how can they still be betrothed, what will happen if they push the relationship too much,"

"Love, I do not believe in love, because love will only make someone lose their mind, for example, my own daughter, for love she is willing to sacrifice anything, she said, and what he's getting is just suffering until the end of his life." Sahut Eyang Netty at length. 

"And I don't want that to happen to my granddaughter!" continued Eyang Netty firmly.

"This is my decision, and inviolable, Ricard is the best man for my grandson!" tukas Eyeang Netty then left Mbok Mirah in the corner of the mansion. 

Mbok Mirah could only sigh to see the netty Eyang who remained tight on his stance.
