Chapter 1 Prologue

"I told you not to visit your father too often, what if other people found out that your father is in prison ?" alex said in an annoyed tone to his girlfriend Carla.

While Carla could only bow down in fear, while occasionally her right hand wiped the tears that drenched her cheeks.

Yes Carla can only be quiet, because this is not the first time Alex scolded him just because he often visited his father who is now in prison. He could not give any answer, because if he gave an excuse, then Alex did not hesitate to swing his hand to hurt his tiny body to hurt. Alex has often been abusive towards Carla, especially since Carla's father was found guilty and had to stay behind bars about seven months ago.

The night is late, but Carla, the beautiful girl who is now 21 years old, is still awake. He did not feel drowsiness even though his body and mind felt very tired.

At 12:30 midnight, Carla, still unable to close her eyes, decided to get out of her bed and sit in a chair at the table in her room. He sat pensively recalling the incident earlier this afternoon when Alex scolded him, so that he could not feel his tears dripping back on his white cheeks.

"Hiks..dad forgive me, this useless daughter of yours hiks...dad what should I do?...I miss you so much dad, you're the only family I have..hiks...hiks...," carla's crying became more unstoppable until she cried, fortunately Alex was currently sound asleep in her private room so she did not hear a cry from Carla.

Since her father went to prison, Carla no longer has a house, because her father's small house has been sold for the cost of the trial and paid for a lawyer, but because the party who sued her father was much richer, so his father had to accept defeat for the case that befell him in court. While Alex, whose incident is her lover who has been dating her for two years, did not give her any help during her father's trial at that time.

Alex is a handsome young man who is now 25 years old is indeed from a rich family, his father and mother at least have a company, and now Alex has begun to be actively involved in running the family business. For Alex it's okay to date Carla who is just an orphan girl from a simple family. The morning had come, Alex, who had first woken up, approached Carla into her unlocked room.

Alex approaches Carla, who has been sleeping in her chair and has been leaning on her desk since last night. Alex was about to wake Carla but he could not bear to see Carla's face that looked tired and still sleeping in her sleep.

Slowly Alex, who still has affection for her lover, touched Carla's forehead using the back of her right hand.

"Are you sick? your forehead feels warm," Alex murmured softly. And with a heart he carried the tiny body of Carla bridal and moved her to the bed. Alex then covers her, then walks out and closes Carla's door slowly so as not to wake her still asleep.

Soon he returned to his room with a basin of warm water and a small towel. Then he sat down next to Carla's bed, and began compressing Carla's forehead with heart.

For a moment Alex looked at the peaceful face of his lover. "I'm sorry, I know you're tired of my attitude. But this is all I can do to maintain our relationship, because if until my parents know that your father is in prison, then we will definitely not be allowed to be together again." His right hand touched Carla's delicate white cheek skin, then his finger moved down to touch her lover's cherry lips, then Alex kissed her gently.

After a while, Alex left Carla at home alone and rushed to the office.
