The ex is not the enemy
Some of Sofia's friends who remain in class during the break witness the incident between Gary and Lani. That certainly makes them confused because Gary dared to behave like that to his ex by being witnessed by Sofia. and of course many of them were asking about the relationship between Gary and Sofia at the time.
"Sof" call Oni, "Sof!" call Oni again because the first call was not responded by Sofia.
"what?" sofia asked, raising her head to look at the Oni standing before her.
Oni immediately rushed to sit beside Sofia, "are you okay?" ask Oni curious.
"yes, why?" replied Sofia who was also confused about the attitude of her friend that one.
"are you sure?" doubtful Oni
"yeah!" answer Sofia briefly
"patience" Oni said as she stroked Sofia's back
"what the hell is On? why kenpa?" asked Sofia who was still confused.
"you saw his ex come in, didn't you?" oni said while pointing at Gary with his tail.
"yes, I see. then?"
"are you jealous? aren't you angry?" ask Oni who seems to be angrier than Sofia's pepper.
"no, it's normal"
"okay you are?"
"yes, if you're an ex you don't have to be an enemy, right? they also do nothing, just kidding" Sofia explained.
"you sure Sof? wahhh.. Cool is you!" oni said as she held her two thumbs up to Sofia's face.
"what the hell? ah already! I want to write again"
"if you're hurt, say yes, I'm ready to take it" Oni said, finally leaving Sofia in her seat.
but, for sure I have to live it.
an event can never be understood if it still happens.
however, if one day I remember it again, that's where I can understand the meaning of everything.
man has a limited ability to understand everything in his life.
likewise, I am weak and limited in understanding others.
That's a little quote from Sofia's writing when she saw all the events that happened in class that day.
"Dani, I'm coming with ya. papa kasi permission" said Sofia when she met Dani in front of the class.
"ohh yeah? okay" replied Dani
"are you allowed to take a motorcycle?" ask Dani.
"yes where can I bring a motorcycle, too heavy" Sofia replied jokingly.
"haha, I don't mean to be taken, driven" Dani explained.
"ohh.. You said take a motorcycle. emm"
"okay, later if for example not allowed to say I am yes, we can go together"
"okay, done" replied Sofia who looked cheerful.
Sofia enters the class, and she talks to Gary when he is sitting at the classroom door. Sofia's expression instantly changed, not as cheerful as when she talked to Dani for a while. They did cross paths, but the two did not glance at each other, let alone say hello. Both of them had flat expressions. But, it seems that both Gary and Sofia are misbehaving when they have to cross paths.
'indeed it's not nice to have a classmate' Sofia said to herself after sitting in her chair.
'so, he has no intention of getting any better?' gary said to himself. He takes a quick glance into the classroom to see Sofia's whereabouts and he realizes that Sofia really doesn't care about him anymore because Sofia looks very calm and ordinary after they cross paths.
