Chapter 18 - Former

After affirming Iin's relationship which is only a friend and already like Agus' own biological sister, Eka finally believes in our friendly relationship. In the past, since he officially held the status of his best friend's girlfriend, Eka always suspected and always showed dislike and jealousy towards Iin. He always reasoned that there is no such thing as friendship between a man and a woman if one does not have feelings of liking.

What Eka said was not entirely wrong, Iin liked his own best friend in silence all along. It's just that Agus never looked at him more than a friend and now finally Iin realized, it's time he learned to let go of his feelings.

Iin's daydreams were spoiled when Agus asked about his attitude lately which he felt was strange.

"Wh-which message?" Iin asked back with a slightly stammered voice

"My reason for your words and prayers is my birthday" replied Agus who again made Iin's heart hurt when he remembered Agus was late to reply to his message because he spent time with Eka.

Since Agus officially held a ceremony with the woman he had been courting, during that time Agus did not realize that slowly with the presence of Eka in his life, he was not aware, he began to keep his distance and slowly began to move away with his friends and close friends. That is because his time will always be spent working also by spending together with Eka and Eka, so he does not have time to gather with friends and other close friends.

Iin had to go home, he was tired of lingering before the lovers in front of him who had managed to make Iin's chest tight and uncomfortable.

"Btw, I'll go home first. Relax, your food let me just pay" said Iin pamit and then stood up from his seat.

When Iin was about to go pay at the cashier, he accidentally hit someone because he was in such a hurry to leave Agus and Eka who had given him a wound so far.

"Inggrid?"

Hearing his name called, Iin who apologized while looking down then looked up at the burly man who had just hit him.

"Lohs.. Dafa"

"It just so happens that you are here, please help me" he said then pulled Iin's wrist tightly and stepped towards bang Farhan's caferesto cashier table.

Iin was clearly so shocked by Dafa's actions and behavior that he swiftly forced her with a panicked look on his face. Even until now Iin has not been able to digest Dafa sentences well.

Iin digested Dafa's answer quickly, so quickly he was surprised to not believe. What the f*ck... ex-wives and ex-friends? For the first time Iin cursed the blessings of the former Dafa mentioned tonight.
