Terror (Fourteen)

Yuka and Haejun walked together inside Ilsan's funeral which looked quiet and silent. The sun almost sank in the western horizon, and made the atmosphere in the funeral Ilsan increasingly gripping. Yuka and Haejun continued to walk through every tomb that was there to find the terror who was likely hiding in the tomb. But until they got tired of circling around the tomb, they did not find a single person there. The tomb was deserted, there were only them

the two who had walked here and there were not necessarily directions like fools.

“Oppa, I think the terror has gone from this tomb, we are late to find him.” Yuka said tiredly while leaning her head on Haejun's shoulder. The two of them continued to walk between the tombs to find a way out at the end of the path they passed.

“Then let's just say we're dating.” replied Haejun casually. Yuka hit Haejun's arm softly while giving the man a warning-filled look.

“Do not talk carelessly oppa, we are in the tomb.” Yuka warned. Lee Haejun laughed mockingly at his wife while accusing her of cowardice.

“Are you scared baby?” god Haejun while walking quickly in front of him. Yuka snorted annoyedly at Haejun's attitude which was teasing her and was about to leave to leave her to frighten her.

“I'm not afraid of oppa! Wasn't it before being one of our intel also had a test like this, so you can't scare me with your useless cheap tricks.”

“Really? Then now that we split up, I'll go to the west side, and you go to the east side. Who knows we have missed something important in this tomb, because I have a strong feeling that the terror is trying to show us something.” challenge Haejun with a sly grin. Yuka looked at Haejun haughtily as she folded her hands in front of her chest. Of course she would accept the offer gladly, for she was not a timid woman. Instead, he prefers to meet ghosts because they are no more dangerous than humans.

“No problem, I'm not a cowardly woman anyway. We'll meet in front of the funeral exit.”

Yuka immediately walked ahead of Haejun to walk to the east side. The sound of night animals starting to come out of the nest makes the funeral atmosphere even more gripping. But Yuka chose to be relaxed while observing the neatly arranged row of tombstones to her right and left. Every tombstone that he passed, he always read the names listed on the tombstone so that he could connect it with the truly mysterious successor.

            “Yuka, come here.”

Yuka heard Haejun's voice calling her from the west side. The man waved his hand in the darkness of the night which made Yuka find it difficult to see her husband figure.

“Wait a minute, I can't see oppa's face clearly.” shouted Yuka loudly. Yuka decides to pull out her phone and turn on the flashlight on her phone. But when she shone her flashlight at Haejun's voice, her husband suddenly disappeared. She pointed her cell phone flashlight in various directions to look for her husband, but the result was nil, her husband was nowhere. With a sense of uneasiness, Yuka walks hurriedly towards the west side of the tomb in search of the whereabouts of her husband who suddenly disappeared.

“Oppa... Where are you?” Yuka shouted loudly in the middle of the tomb. Her loud voice echoed in every corner of the cemetery, but her husband did not answer her call at all and only the sound of the wind constantly swirling around her. Yuka decided to walk further away from the west side of the cemetery because she was afraid that the intruder had captured her husband.

Srakk

Yuka pointed her flashlight behind her body when she heard the sound of twigs rubbing against the ground. But nothing happened behind him, there were only rows of tombs that looked terrible in the dim light of the moon. Yuka continued to look for

Haejun. Yet suddenly his wrist gripped someone and made him screech loudly in shock.

“Kyaaaa.. Kyaaa, let go of me!!” yuka shouted hysterically while jumping around furiously in the middle of the tomb. Haejun who heard Yuka's terrified scream voice immediately burst into laughter with an annoying satisfied facial expression.

“So, is this the attitude of a brave woman?”

“Oppa!! Basic sucks! Move aside, don't block my steps.” snapped Yuka riled up while pushing Haejun's body hard to the side.

“Argh... Yuka!” haejun groaned loudly as he had just fallen on top of a tomb. Yuka also replied to her husband by laughing no less annoying than what Haejun did to her.

“Feel! It was a reply for a shitty person like oppa. Ck, get up. We must go immediately to meet Hyerin, we have been gone too long to leave her.” take Yuka while helping Haejun to stand up. The woman placed her cell phone over the tomb next to Haejun, then pulled her husband's hand to stand up.

“Who is the name of Jung Hyerin's deceased husband?”

            “Shinjung, Kang Shingjung.”

“See the tomb, does it belong to the late Kang Shinjung, the husband of your best friend?”

Yuka also shines her flashlight on a gravestone that Haejun had just occupied when the man fell.

“I think this does belong to Kang Shinjung, the date of his death was written last month, so this is really Kang Shinjung's tomb. But what does this have to do with the tomb of Kang Shinjung and the terrorist, did the terrorist ever have a special relationship with Kang Shinjung before Kang Shinjung died and decided to terrorize Hyerin? Ck, I forgot to ask Hyerin and Shinjung's relationship after we separated from senior high school.” decak Yuka was upset with herself. Haejun seemed busy thinking next to Yuka while observing Kang Shinjung's grave closely.

“I think Hyerin, Kang Shinjung, and the intruder are in touch, but what? So far I have not been able to analyze it clearly because we have not received enough information to uncover the case of the intrusion that happened to Jung Hyerin. Do you feel like there's something weird about Jung Hyerin while you're in her apartment and in her room. Maybe you found something that looks suspicious in there?”

Yuka seemed to think for a while before she screeched furiously and told Haejun to pull out the earrings that Haejun found in front of the emergency stairs.

Haejun reached into the left pocket of his pants and gave a small pearl-robed earring that seemed to shine in the dim moonlight.

“What's with those earrings Yoong, did you find anything?”

“Oppa now I remember with these earrings. Actually these earrings belong to Jung Hyerin. It used to be when senior high school Hyerin once showed me that she used to get a gift from her late father an earring exactly the same as Hyura's, but Hyura's had a pearl-colored pendulum

black, while Hyerin's has a white pearl pendulum. Just then when I held Hyerin in her room, I saw Hyerin using black pearl-robed earrings in both ears. Oppa, maybe the woman who claimed to be Jung Hyerin is actually Jung Hyura, because all this time they have a face that looks similar.”

“But why did Hyura have to pretend to be her brother, why did she have to hide her identity from us?”

“What if Hyerin was actually telling Hyura to be her so that she could ask me for help, because Hyerin had known that I was working as state intelligence all along. Oppa we have to go back to Jung Hyura's apartment, because it's possible that the woman is in danger.” said Yuka panicked. But before Yuka walks away leaving, Haejun grips Yuka's wrist to keep Yuka from moving anywhere, as the woman must explain her puzzling analysis.

            “Tell me what's going on.”

“I think the perpetrator Jung Hyura is her own brother, Jung Hyerin because in addition to evidence in the form of earrings that oppa found in front of the door of the emergency stairs, Jung Hyerin, the intruder also looked so good at carrying out his plan. Even the intruder had to install a bugging device inside Hyura's ever-closed room. If it wasn't Hyerin who did it, then who else? Moreover, Hyura and Hyerin have been living in the same apartment since Hyura lost her husband. So, I'm pretty sure that the perpetrator of the attack is Jung Hyerin. But I still don't understand Jung Hyerin's motive for doing this to her own sister. Didn't they love each other?”

“But you forgot Shinjung in your analysis. You said Shinjung was Jung Hyerin's lover at high school, but if the one we met was Jung Hyura, it means that the man was not married to Jung Hyerin, but rather married to Jung Hyura, I think one of the reasons Hyerin did this was because Shinjung was married to her sister, not her. We should indeed immediately return to the apartment Jung Hyura to investigate this matter further and prove the truth of our analysis.”

The couple immediately walked hurriedly away from Ilsan's lonely funeral to prove the truth of their analysis in Jung Hyura's apartment, because only the woman who knows the real reason behind the attitude of her brother who continues to terrorize her all this time.

Tong

Yuka pressed Jung Hyura's apartment bell many times until her legs felt sore, because since then the apartment owner did not open the door. Though they had been standing since fifteen minutes ago while pressing the bell carelessly.

“Yuka, we just break down the door, I'm afraid something bad has happened to Jung Hyura inside there.”

Yuka nodded her head in agreement and slightly stepped away from the door because her husband was about to break down the wooden door with his body.

Brakkk

In three pushings the door was finally able to open. The first impression that Yuka felt when entering the apartment Jung Hyura was quiet and silent. There was no sign of life in the apartment. Even the scattered items in the living room were still the same as before they left the apartment to go to Ilsan's funeral.

“What according to oppa Hyura is still asleep in her room? This room has not changed a bit since we went to Ilsan's funeral. Even Hyura's cell phone was still on the carpet. Does oppa Hyura think it's okay?”

“We better see firsthand how Hyura is in her room than we are just guessing here.” said Haejun gave advice. They also increasingly entered the apartment Jung Hyura to find the existence of the owner of the apartment in there.

Yuka skirted every corner of Jung Hyura's apartment, however, he did not find Hyura anywhere except in his room because he had not tried to look for her in the room. She calls her husband and tells him to break down the door of Hyura's locked room. Though previously Yuka felt sure that Hyura did not lock her room from the inside.

Brakk! Brakk!

Haejun smashed the brown door several times until finally the brown door was able to open perfectly and raised Hyerin and Hyura was closing her eyes peacefully with a knife stuck in each of their chests.

            “Oppa!”

Yuka screeched in surprise as she covered her mouth in disbelief at what she had just seen.

“Oppa, we're late. Hyura and Hyerin are dead.” Yuka said regretfully as she wiped away the torrent of her increasingly heavy tears flooding her face. But Haejun immediately calmed Yuka down and told Yuka that it wasn't his fault, because Haejun had just found a letter stuck in front of Hyura's mirror.

“Already, it's not your fault. Hyerin herself who wants to end her sister's life because her sister has brought a lot of disappointment to her brother. And to make up for his guilt for his sister, Hyerin finally decided to commit suicide because even though he hated his sister for his greed, but he could not let his sister go just like that. He wants to continue to be with his sister and take care of his sister even though they are no longer alive in the world, so don't blame yourself for their deaths. Sometimes we can't save the people we're supposed to save. But you can't blame yourself for this, because God has already outlined Jung Hyura's death today by her biological brother. All you have to remember from today's events is, you've tried. You've been trying to protect your best friend as well as your best friend's siblings, so be calm and let them go.”

Yuka hugged Haejun's body tightly while crying bitterly over Haejun's shoulder. What Haejun had just said was indeed true, he indeed could not always save those who were in danger, he said, but at least today he has sought to protect the woman from the evil of the terror. But God seemed to have another will and wanted to send Hyerin and Hyura to heaven as soon as possible.
