Chapter 4: Bitter facts to be accepted

A dazzling light shot out from the magic circle, its light illuminated the entire lower room.After a while the light began to dim.

My mother and father saw a magic circle with confused faces.

"didn't you make the magic circle wrong?", asked the mother.

"it shouldn't, if it were wrong to make a magic circle, it shouldn't react that way" explained mom to dad.

"it looks like I misread the spell, let's repeat it again!".

Mother began to reread her spell, and the magic circle began to give off the same reaction as before.

But after the spell was read the same reaction as before, the element stone showed no reaction.

" what's wrong?, let's try again" said the mother.

I tried again, until a few more times but nothing happened the same.

"does eryk have no magic?". Said Dad, which immediately surprised me.

"what you said couldn't have happened" the mother immediately replied.

After hearing it, my face was immediately moody, the strange thoughts that had come out were now more and more raging.

'if I can't use magic, then what's the point of me learning to read and write magic' questions like that started to come to my mind.

"father try to ask the village head maybe he knows something about this" said the mother while telling the father to go find the village head.

"mom can't I use magic?" I asked while looking down.

We came out of the basement and into the living room, I sat in the living room seat with a desperate face and with an empty mind.

"just relax, eryk, you can definitely use magic" said my mother to encourage me.

"but why haven't you come back yet?" mother said while looking at the door with a worried face.

It has been a long time since my father left the house since last afternoon even now it has begun to dark even though the distance between the village and our house is not far about 15 minutes walk.

I haven't come back yet, I'm starting to worry that dinner's ready, and now it's time for our usual dinner. Suddenly it sounded like someone was walking towards the door of the house and the sound of people opening the door and sure enough it was the father, the mother immediately approached the father.

"why is it so long?" ask the mother with a worried face.

I entered the room and laid myself on the bed and I fell asleep.
